I don't know what words to use!!!!

I write this fanfic and i write "lyrics writing" for writing lyrics.

Is that the term use for writing lyrics? I remember another term for that but the words.

I'm writing this fanfic and maybe urgently need the term? Idk ....

I just want that term fast so to make a progress on my oneshot..

Thanks for the help. I also need the word "Lyricist". I don't even know there is such word existed. Must try and type more n learn more....

Idk but if it's the act of writing lyrics, I would just say "writing lyrics". If it's the term to describe someone who writes lyrics, then it's lyricist.
