i'm so bad girl let's start off with everything wrong with this unnie. okay? firstly, all the members can testify that she is very introverted. yeoreum tends to stray away from the kids easily. she finds peace mostly alone, and she's not afriad to tell you that. you can find her in her room a lot (shared with bongcha, to yeoreum's dismay) either reading, writing lyrics, composing music on her keyboard, or sleeping. to be very honest, if you were to directly ask her why she is shy and to her self, she would say that it's because she is stuck with a bunch of kids. lol, not really. but she does feel that it's hard to get close to the other members especially the youngests that are 18 and 17. she feels it's her duty to be close with everybody in the group as the oldest unnie. besides that, yeoreum also takes pride in being the oldest, as any korean with basic respect feels. she likes being in charge and can be a little demanding sometimes. this is probably her ugliest trait that can rub the members wrong, especially kim bongcha.

Background :
on february 12, 1993, a annoyingly cranky baby was born into the world with a chinese mother and a korean father making her half and half. growing up, yeoreum never had any of those insecurity of her mixed race. she felt normal in her own skin. at a young age, she was introduced to music seeing that both her parents had majored in music in college and work in the music industry. yeoreum is closer with her mother than her father as her father travels a lot for his music related work, while her mother work from her home. her mother taught piano and vocal lessons out of her home directly, which allowed yeoreum to experience all of the lessons and tips that her mother gave. she was so fascinated and wanted to be like those kids learning. she wanted to be like her mother. yeoreum's parents never expected her to be into music. they never forced it upon her, and honestly they thought she would be tired off it all in the house and dinner conversations about music. but she fell in love with it all on her own. she asked her mother for both piano and singing lessons and getting one on one experience with the teacher helped her to be her mother's top student. and she is not just saying that. she is not biased. it's true. yeoreum realized that she wanted to sing and make music for a living. growing up, there were always crazes about the newest boyband and girlgroup. and she fell interested as she knew that was the way to her ultimate dream. after getting into her dream high school, seoul school of the peforming arts, she auditioned for woolim and was immediately accepted, but sadly only spent a year or two there. that was before she was fated to join big hit and stayed their the longest, toughing out the struggle in order to create a name for herself under the enetertainment industry.
