Thank so much for everyone who has been sending me wonderful comments of support. I really appreciate it. I've been angry since I've found out this happened. But I'm happy to report that I got a notice from Wattpad that my claim for Copyright was accepted and they removed the story. In my claim, I had to give them the link for which my work was originally posted in and what the link was for the fraudulent work. Thankfully this person decided to only post my work about six months ago or so......and my work was first published back in March of 2014. So I know I have the right to it and if she even tries to claim it as hers again and get it back up, I want every one of you all to spam her until she deletes it. And spam her for the other fics too. 

This is simply an outrage that anyone thinks this is okay. It's not! I get it, yes this is fanfiction. These are stories that are based off of real people. Yes as authors we don't have a right to publish any of our stories for profit. But as fanfic authors, we have a right to keep our stories as ours! We have a right to have copyright on our works of fiction! We labor with coming up with a plot, the character personalities we want so that they fit the story, We slave away for hours writing oneshots, writing chapters so we can not only express ourselves and what's in our head, but to also entertain others who share the same interests as us.

I have no qualms with giving any of you permission to post my fics on other sites. But I require and it's common curtsey to ask for permission first from me and from other authors. And to credit them in any place you post their works and to give them links to those places so they can see what other people think of their stories. If you can't do that, what kind of person are you? Why on God's green Earth would you ever want to steal something from someone and claim it as your own, especially from an author with so many subscribers and friends who have read their stories and can tell the moment they start reading it that it's a plagiarized piece of work? Why would you even attempt something like this. This just angers me beyond belief that someone would have the balls to do this. And not to just me, but to others as well. 

I'm reading from your comments that so many authors have left and deactivated because their works were plagiarized. That's horrible! Simply horrible!

I just want you all to know, that even though this has happened to me, I will not be leaving. I will not deactivate. But what I do plan to do is to hide all my fics for a while. I'll be leaving Full Moon up, just because of the case that's still pending so the site can still access it if need be. I will make them unaccessible to copy and paste. 

And I'm asking for all of you to keep your eyes out for any more of stories that may be out there that aren't credited. Wattpad seems to be the place that has the most plagiarized stories. So please do your best, let me know if you see anymore that may come up. And for all those other authors who have suffered from this, my heart goes out to you. I do hope this comes to end one day. Maybe with this action I took, people can realize that this is serious business and that it won't be taken lightly. At least not by me.
