» PERSONALITY

(+) KIND: Eunji finds this as her second nature, something that she just is able to do naturally. 

(+) CHARISMATIC: She has this aura around her that just flaunts a certain charm, lifting up the spirits of others and rubbing off on them. Eunji is able to set a good example for the members, though most of the time they make her the one trying out the new things they're too scared to try.

(+) FUN-LOVING: Eunji loves fun - and her other traits allow her to make nearly anything fun for the Indestructible Girls. She likes to pull pranks to brighten the mood, and can sense when things are going downhill.

(-) COMPULSIVE: Though this is definitely a negative character trait the other members know about, most of the time Eunji is able to disguise it well under the fun-loving trait. She has yet to get out of hand with it, but she knows it is only a matter of time.

(-) IMPATIENT: Like her compulsiveness, Eunji is able to disguise this trait. Not too many know exactly how impatient she is, but it is known. However, she rarely acts on impatientness alone.

(-) UNPREDICTABLE: Her unpredictableness can lead to great messes. Eunji tends to pop things on people, like schedules she was supposed to tell them about earlier but just forgot to mention. However, this causes a certain amount of unforgettable memories to be made, be it good or bad.

» Background

Lee Eunji was born in Songnam, South Korea, to Lee Hyein and Lee Jungsoo, where she spent the first few years of her life. There, she was bullied because of her tendency to seem much more skilled at certain things than others, and her parents took her out of school in order to homeschool her until junior high. The years she was away from school, she enrolled in a dance studio, where she learned to dance and perform. She took vocal classes at first, which she quickly dropped in favor for rapping, inspired by a few underground rappers she had seen. Her parents supported her every move and rarely imposed their dreams on her.

In junior high, Eunji fit in well, gaining popularity because of her good looks and dancing skill. It seemed as if everyone had forgotten the girl from kindergarten that they had all hated. But as all popular girls do, Eunji fell in her second year at high school, as many discovered, from the world of Korean entertainment, the fact that plastic surgery exists. They accused her of being fake, some even going as far as to spread rumors that she had plastic surgery, completely ignoring the fact that plastic surgery at a young age can warp one's face. Over time, she becamse insecure about her looks because of this.

Eventually the rumors spread to the point where her family heard about it, and they decide to withdraw her from school again. She was able to put her past behind her, reassured that no one will be able to remember her in the end. Eunji regained her confidence, going so far as to attending a school for performing arts at the same time as being homeschooled.

She was scouted by Woollim at one of the dress rehearsals for a concert by an agent when she was eighteen. After speaking with her parents, Eunji agreed, and was soon completely immersed in trainee life. To her, she viewed it as a way to recreate herself, and to show the people who spoke badly about her that they were wrong. She is a close friend for the other members of her group, and seems to be the carefree one.

» INTERACTIONS

Eunji and Jungkook have never really had the chance to speak to each other, except for performances and the occasional collaboration. They are on relatively friendly terms, and despite Eunji being older than Jungkook, he uses informal speech (which is honestly something Eunji never really worried about until the other members started teasing her about it, because they know something she doesn't know). It's a rumor around that Jungkook likes someone from Woollim, but nobody knows for certain who, until one show where he is asked and BTS pressures him to tell the truth. 

Their interactions are polite as they get to know each other, but steadily evolving into a great friendship.
