shiningstarx 2nd BTS Giveaway

shiningstarx 2nd bts giveaway!

hello! this is my entry for shiningstarx's 2nd bts giveaway.

entry

Hello! my friend have joined this giveaway and she told me to join in as well, so here i am! we promised that if one of us wins, there'll be no hard feelings- ahahah. anyways, i shall now start my entry!

here's my favourite picture of bangtan!

as you can see, they're standing in the middle of the thousands of armys in their concert. furthermore, they look sincerely happy. look at them, they're smiling at the armys, waving at the armys, giving them fanservice. in that picture, they're looking at us like we're precious little gems. standing in front of us, performing for us, making us enjoy their music, that was their dream. and it came true. to them, standing on stage, listening to screams of armys, singing, dancing, and rapping for thousands and even millions of armys to hear, is a major achievement. they have spent more than half of their lives to make great music. for who? for armys. and just like in that picture, they're smiling, sincerely, glad that we armys are actually enjoying the music they make. glad that we're supporting them always. what's more important is that they are on stage, together. and being together beats out all major factors such as fame, fans, etc. being together is what made bangtan, bangtan. all 7 of them are stuck in the middle of the stage, together. imagine editing out one member from that picture. it would look like a puzzle with a missing piece. that's right if one member is missing, bangtan won't be complete. they won't even look complete, as a group. in conclusion, i have chosen this picture because it shows their love for armys, and the joy of being together, as a team.

if bts comes to your country and you're the host, where would you bring them?

i was born in a small village called "situbondo", located in indonesia. however, not long after, i moved to makassar for a few years before moving again to surabaya, where i met the friend who told me about this giveaway! hahaha. I'll talk about makassar first.

makassar, also known as ujung pandang, is the capital of south sulawesi, indonesia. there is a really popular theme park(?) ish place in makassar, called "trans studio". however, you can also find trans studio in other islands in indonesia. i've never been to the one in other places though, i've only been to the one in makassar! anyway. trans studio is the world's third largest indoor theme park (yes, it is indoor, so you don't need to worry about burning yourself) which consists of 5 zones with 22 features and rides, capable of holding 5,000 people. so the 5 zones are "central studio", "lost city", "Magic corner", "tsunami island" and "cartoon city". there are different rides with different themes in each zone and i had to ride like all the rides more than once bc they are so much fun!!! i can assure you, bts would have so much fun here

, maybe not for hoseok because he's always scared of rides- hahahahaha.

i couldn't find pictures of tsunami island and cartoon city- sobs.

anyway, off to surabaya! since i am now living there, i'm quite familiar with this city already! there are not many tourist attractions here in surabaya but the food here is wonderful. oh wait, there is one place where foreigners would definitely like to go to at night! it's called "loop". it is located somewhere in front of a shopping mall. i suggest to go there at night because the lightings and decor look amazing in the dark! there are also live performances to enjoy while you're having dinner in any of the restaurants. every christmas and new year, at exactly 12am, that place would always have a firework ceremony to celebrate! i'm actually planning to go to this year's firework ceremony because there'll be lots, and lots, of fireworks. it's basically a chill place where you can hang out with your friends at night, enjoying the relaxing conditions of "loop".

there's also another place similar to loop, and is located near loop, and it's called "g-walk". in my opinion, there are more choices of food in g-walk than in loop. like waaaay more. but loop is a better place to enjoy the night because it's more relaxing while g-walk is always very busy and crowded. sometimes you don't even get seats. the lighting and decorations in loop are better than g-walk, though. so if you want to take your mind off stress, have a relaxing dinner for the night, take wonderful pictures, go to loop! if you're just desperate to eat and are confused of what to eat, go to g-walk and pick!

moving on to food!! everyone loves food, you can't deny. hehehe.

bangtan should really try indonesian food!! here in indonesia, you can see a places called a "warung" along the streets. i'm not sure how to explain what warung is, but basically it's a small restaurant, wait it's not even a restaurant. it's more like... a place to eat. nothing fancy. nothing expensive. of course, you can't expect clean floors and all that because most warungs are not even buildings, they're just a place with cheap furniture and shelter for us to eat in. the food are all cheap and delicious though! it's somehow like street food in korea.

for starters, they can try sate and lontong. the special peanut sauce could go with both the sate and the lontong!! lontong is compressed rice cake in the form of a cylinder wrapped inside a banana leaf. the rice is rolled inside the leaf and boiled, then cut into small cakes as staple food! it is a replacement of steamed rice. you can also add in onions and chilli to suit your taste!

if they want spicy food then they can eat "pecel"! a popular javanese salad consisting of mixed vegetables in peanut sauce (yes, indonesians love peanut sauce) dressing, usually served with steamed rice or sometimes with lontong or ketupat compressed rice cake. the sauce is often made really spicy, so i guess they should bring lots of bottles of ice water-

okay, one last dish! it's my favourite. it's called "tahu tek"! i always end up eating tahu tek when i go to a warung or even in a normal resturant! it consists of half-cooked fried tofu, some chopped up lontong, potatos, small pieces of cucumbers, and bean sprouts. there is also a dish similar to tahu tek called "tahu telor". it's basically tahu tek but the tofu is mixed with egg. (telor is egg in indonesian) and yes, again, there is a peanut sauce dressing. you might wonder why i keep mentioning food with peanut sauce but trust me, it is one of the most delicious dressings ever!!

fele hungry yet??
