Wow I completely agree with this I was just afraid to tell because i thought it might seem like an attention grab. My comments got so scarce at one point that I even considered doing another ot12 original otp fanfic just for the sake of people reading my stuff again!!! Good post and point, definitely relatable for a lot of authors!
