Stories on Asianfanfics

Hey everyone, I never really write blog posts or anything like that so sorry if this isn't in the correct formatting or whatever. I'm kind of an informal writer anyway. I just wanted to discuss something that I think should be pointed out; the lack of ambw stories on asianfanfics. Now I know this is an asian fanfiction site, that much is obvious. But it's okay to have an OC that is of another race, maybe not necessarily black but Hispanic, white, or anything else. I'm not sure if you realize this but my stories DORADORA, War of Hormone and Unexplainable all have black female main characters. I feel the need to point this out because I want it to be clear. I am not trying to put down asian OC's or anything like that because I love Korean culture and love to see what customs I learn about on here in high school au and college au stories, but I just want to encourage those who write to write about other races as well. We need love too, lol. That's all.

By the way, just in case you didn't know (because I didn't until recently) ambw stands for asian man, black woman. Okay I'm really done now. Thank you.

Also take this poll if you even bother to read this short ranting blog because I'm curious as to what you guys think:

Do you think that knowing my stories are ambw changes how you feel about them? Be honest.

Other races need love too, especially other people of color who as is—I don't hear enough about in the Kpop fandoms accept for blogs and writers/fans that dedicate themselves to producing that content. I'm not Middle Eastern (Arabian in this case) but I smiled from ear to ear when the Bangtan boys complimented the beauty of Arabian hijabi fans, mostly hijabi fans in general. Even people within Kpop are open to the idea of beauty and perhaps love beyond. I think that's the cherishable thing about Kpop, not only have we as international fans been introduced to a new culture, but also when our idols see us, or come to our countries on world tours they have no choice but to take it in and absorb everything they see and feel. Especially their fans of color. It's beautiful. Diversity is important and people of all cultures and skin tones are what MAKE the world beautiful to be quite honest.
Being a black Kpop fan for what feels like forever now, you can imagine that for me personally when I saw bts (if you didn't guess by now bts they're my favorite group of all time) in that American Hustle Life show back in 2014, I honestly smiled the most of any fan because all I could really focus on is they got to experience my culture and its people at first hand. Recently I just returned to my favorite moments of that series and found their video where Bangtan was leaving and saying their piece to their mentors, Nate and Tony and man... My heart sank. I don't think I ever saw that scene with English subtitles so I never saw them say really heartfelt things to their mentors. I thought it was a mellow happy scene, but when I saw this year as nostalgia---I actually cried. I hope that the American Hustle Life program they have this year is just a spectacular. /I just need more cross-cultural interactions in my life tbh/.

I have never read ambw stories and that is not because I hate it. No, I never encountered one (and maybe I did but I forgot lel).
But actually, I don't really care about this. All I care is that the story is good ^^

I don't read your fics in particular, but i've read ambw and to be quite honest, i don't even know why they need to have a specific label? i think whatever characteristics your OC needs to have, he/she should have them and there's no need to stick a label on it. oh well, i'm just against labels personally.
