Lia is the type to listen to all your problems, and wont create any drama from it. She is the one to go to if you need to rant and do not want a straight up answer. She rarely talks unless she needs to and is pretty good at keeping things to herself. You can bother the out of her until she gets irritated, but she wont blow up in your face. Most likely she'll get back at you by drawing your face in a messed up way. Lia is pretty self-controlled and will not let anyone change that. Try all you want, but she will not do anything out of the ordinary for you. She hates going out of order and things must be followed in a certain way. Most people mistake her as a robot who is unfunctional because she wont answer you back.

Even though she seems to not listen to your problems, she is secretly listening and answering you in her mind. Though she doesnt admit this, she secretly wants to bug you and make sure youre okay. Lia has her signature resting face, but when it comes down to it, sometimes even she lets this go and you see another side to her. Nature's Growth and Surrounding

History —

Lia grew up as an only child and had a mother, but no father. He died when she was five from an accident when he was drunk. She often took care of her mother, so she wasnt well off from the start. As a result, Lia grew up knowing how to fend and take care of herself. Because of her past, she always stayed silent about everything. She was socially awkward with people and didnt understand the concept of conversing with them. One thing for sure was she didnt know what to talk about with them. In the end, Lia grew up being quiet and shut off. As she grew older, her mother often pestered her to find a man. "Look Jiae! I found a man for you!" Often scheduling a meeting for Lia and a man, Lia turned him down hard. She never showed up to any of the meeting, which resulting in her mom yelling at her for three hours straight. "I try to find a nice man for you so i can finally have grandchildren! Have fun with your youth! Children these days!" That sums up about all the things her mom says within those three hours. It was impossible for Lia as her mom would talk to her everyday hinting at grandchildren. "I'm not getting any younger! Give me my little babies and ill be happy!" It wasnt hinting, i was lying. It was more like a straight-forward comment. As time flew by, Lia grew tired of it and planned to move out to an apartment.

Current Life —

Lia threw herself away from her mom and found a 2-bedroom apartment to live in. She found one at a decent price, but was still pricy. It took alot of effort for her to make a contract with the landlord to give her an extension to her down payment and monthly rent. Lia found a job at a cafe that cosplayed as maids. Even though it wasnt her ideal job, it payed her decent with her checks and tips. With the other bedroom that was in her apartment, she decided to find a decent roommate. Even though she hated the idea, she couldnt find another apartment that fitted her taste. Most of the other apartments were run down or in a bad neighborhood. It wasnt long before her mother came in contact with her and pestered her about marriage again. Even though she didnt live with her, she often came over and bothered her. She even brought portraits of the males to show to her. Finally giving in she confessed that she had a boyfriend, even though she didnt. "WHAT! my daughter is already impure? Is that a Jiae junior in there?" Rubbing her stomach as she said it. As her right eye twitched, Lia answered her, "No. Bye. Get out." Catching the clue, her mom stumbled out and yelled, "Next time i have to meet him!"

Kai hates the idea of being tied down to anything. He is pretty happy to be the 2nd heir, because that doesnt exactly mean that he is tied down to his father's company. He enjoys all the free money he gets, but is sick and tired of all the treatment he gets from his parents. He talks back to anyone in his way, and doesnt care if he tramples all over them. He is physically tough and isnt scared to beat someone. He knows that he is the top and believes everyone else is trash. Even though he is like this, he has his soft side that barely comes out. Once he sets his mind on something, he will do whatever it is to achieve it. Especially when it comes down to the people who are important to him, he wont hesitate to in and take control. Background —

Kai always came in second to his brother. He was always in his shadow and he hated it. "Why cant you be more like your smart brother? Why cant you ever listen to us?" Kai was always fed up with his parents and wanted to escape from his world. Growing up, he never felt important when it came to his family. Using his status as the 2nd heir, he managed to keep up a face that he was still top dog. People feared him and he made a reputation for himself. He was the playboy/heartbreaker, good for nothing heir. As his brother was known as the selfless king. He wasnt anywhere close to his family, but always made a face to every party his company was a part of. In the end he wanted to get away from h is family so he decided to seperate and go on his own.

First meeting —

Kai saw an opening for a roommate and decided to take that offer to start with. He needed to start somewhere before finding a real place to live. Taking up the offer, he called the number and the phone buzzed three time before it silenced. There were no answers. Frustrated, he didnt want to give up. He was glad he still had connections with his father's company as he called his chauffeur to drive him to the address on the poster. He noted that it was a pretty good looking apartment building, and the inside was nicely decorated. It wasnt too big which didnt suit his taste, but he wasnt gonna let one thing stop him. What bothered him more was that he didnt know the suite number. Scratching his head he took it to the front and bothered the lady which looked like the landlord. "Oh, this is for the room 502. It looks like the person was really in need of money." She sighed and let him up when he told her that he was the roomie. Smirking he took the key from the lady and headed up into the room. Knocking before entering, he also noted that there was no one inside.

While he walked inside, he stumbled across a figure that was changing. Judging from the shadow he figured it was either a girl or a really skinny male. Taking his chances he walked in and found his answer. It was a girl who slipped out of a maid outfit. Blinking twice and then stumbling onto the floor, it caught the attention of the girl. Her eyes twitched and walked over to him, only to shut the door harshly. "what." he mumbled as he was confused that it was her only reaction. After minutes, she came out with a long t-shirt on and glared down at him. No words were spoken and he was confused. "Are you mad or what." He sighed. "Bye. Get out." Her small voice came out and he was more intrigued with her. She was someone special, someone interesting. Lifting up the poster he grinned and stood up. "Nice to meet you roommate."

When theyre alone, he loves to irritate her. "C-cup? B-cup?" He is always pestering her and trying to get her to show him a side he hasnt seen. He gets tired of her same old resting face, and wants to see something that will intrigue him more. He likes pinning her to a wall and testing her by sliding his hand up her leg because she only wears a long t-shirt in the apartment. She just gently shoves him off and then heads into the room and goes to doodle a picture of him with an angry face. Lia continues to not talk to him and he continues to irritate her. He tries to get her attention every second and also likes to bother her at her work. He sits in a corner of the cafe and orders coffee from the shop, only asking for Lia to serve him. Even though he likes to irritate her, he somehow feels like he cant leave her alone. One, because she somehow always gets into trouble. He is always there to catch her before she falls face first into the ground, but then teases her and pulls her hair out from her ponytail.

When theyre infront of Lia's mom, he pretends to be a sweet-loving boyfriend. He holds her hand which makes Lia uncomfortable. It is purely an act, but also entertains him. He makes her fall under his words, using her to his advantage. Being Lia, she doesnt respond to him and just lets him do whatever. He especially loves pulling Lia onto his lap as he sits and backhugs her. Not only because he finds her body warm and comfortable, but it makes her flustered and he sees a different side to her. It draws him in and he wants more and more. Lia cant help but pretend to love him while she is infront of people who know they are a "couple" and her mother. As a result, she is stuck in Kai's grasp and he loves it.

Slowly, they both come to love each other and those normal actions end up being a daily routine that Lia doesnt mind. She slowly comes to like Kai and his presence in her life plays a big part now. Kai also slowly falls in love and becomes protective of her, wanting to protect her from his life but also from every other guy out there. He only wants to be the one who sees different sides of Lia.

After Kai got the gist of the contract, it was short and simple. He understood it and agreed to it, because he thought it would be interesting. Something fun to waste his time on, but also he didnt want to find another place to live. It was already stressful enough to find this apartment already. In short, both Lia and Kai agreed to pretend to be a couple but stay out of their personal business, like each of their history and backgrounds. Kai understood that he only needed to pretend to be her boyfriend because of Lia's mom and he didnt mind. Other than that, he didnt want to tell her about his family life which is why he accepted the contract without thinking about how the future will play out.
