About RP James' Insta update (10 Dec, 15)

Hello friends ^_^

if you have been following Royal Pirates' James on Twitter and/or Instagram, you would have seen his update that he made today (10 Dec, 15).

In his post where he was in his hospital gown, he stated, "6 months today. I won't give up"

Does that mean the accident took place on his birthday?

Could someone clarify it for me? I'm aware of the details of what exactly happened. I just want to know when exactly did he get into that accident. Was it 9th or 10th June?

This question has been going on in my head since he posted it.

Someone help!!!

i'm not sure if it happened on his birthday, but he had an accident where when he was exiting a restaurant or something like that, the hinges of the door he pulled open fell off and the whole door fell on him, and his hand was severly damaged in the process. it was to the point where he could no longer play bass and he had to receive therapy for his hand. i'm thinking that his insta update is because of that, he's going through rehab for his hand. which is also why he doesn't bass guitar in Royal Pirate's new music video. hope that helped. c:
