kris first saw chaeyoung when she was having an outdooor phtoshoot for stylenanda. he was stunned seeing her and her bright personality. he instantly took a liking in her and he knew she's the one. he stalked her for a few months and their first meeting might have traumatised chaeyoung for a long time. chaeyoung was on a vacation with her family in busan. she separated with her family after telling them she was going to take a walk along the beach and they went back to the hotel.
she walked along the clean white sand of haeundae barefooted, feeling the gritty and rough texture of the sand. she sat down and looked at the beautiful sun setting in the horizon. suddenly someone took a seat next to her. she couldn't even bother taking her eyes off of the beautiful sunset and just talked to the stranger without seeing his/her face.

after knowing that kris wu yifan is the notorious kevin ji, she was kind of thrown overboard by her calmness around him. that's when she knew kris was her soulmate. kris thought that she was going to stay away from him even more than she had already been but he was surprised that chaeyoung's still around him. he was so afraid of hurting her but at the same he's also afraid of her running away from him so he was being careful.
