appearance : Despite her low weight, Jin Kyung is a very baby-faced person (Though somehow she has the ability to make herself more mature). Her skin is very pale and soft (Thanks to many well-used products), and she has never dyed her hair a day in her life, though she's willing to get a highlighted lighter-brown, as her hair currently is so dark and thick that it looks black. Due to her extreme care for it, Jin's hair is very soft- Which is great for people who like to play with hair. Her lips are small, yet she has a surprisingly wide mouth. When she smiles, she has very charming cheekbones. Her eyes are a deep brown, and her eyebrows are always perfectly shaped. Much to her displeasure, though, Jin Kyung has just barely reached B-cup s. A lot of her weight goes to her knees and calves, so you can easily count her ribs if you wanted. Her nose is a bit too long in term of out from her face. Occasionally she'll break out, but it's never too bad, simply annoying.
style : Jin is quite fond of her style- She tends to wear a lot of white and pastel colors, overall giving her a soft, feminine appearance. Jin loves to wear white-washed jeans and pleated skirts- She thinks that they're really cute. Sweaters are also a favorite for her- She can be comfortable, warm, and hide all the marks. Sweaters with skirts are just the best. For formal wear, she likes light tops and skirts, but if she has to (Or if the injuries are too obvious) she'll wear long dresses. She really, really likes flats, and heels aren't half-bad either. Basket ball or tennis shoes are always great, though. In general, she's not a fan of many accessories- A watch, maybe a ring with do. This is how she is- If she doesn't do it with her whole 100%, she should do it again. Jin's a very optimistic person- She always sees the light at the end of the tunnel, even if there are some obstructions in the way. She's simply an emotional person. She cried like a child when she found out she was accepted into Big Hit. She can easily go from angry to caring to frustrated in minutes. Jin lets herself feel things, even though that's not always an advantage. She's seriously sensitive, and can be found with her heart on her sleeve. She can be set off to anger easily, sure, but her most normal way to go is crying. She cries about a lot. When she's not angry or crying, she's normally quiet. This girl is childish. She's totally irrespsonsible, an d can be seen throwing fits if she doens't get her way. She cries if she's yelled at, or if someone is mad at her, and Jin can, really, be childish when arguing. Having fights like "Did not! Did too!" are not uncommon with this one, and she has the logic of a five year old at times. There are quite a few times when people feel like their dealing with a baby instead of a teenager. Jin has no care for repsonsibilities and simply ignores them- To her, they don't exist. Why would they? All they do is annoy her.

She whines and whine and whines like a child. If she doesn't get her way, she'll whine repeatedly before throwing a fit. She complains about tons of stuff, and doesn't like to be told no. She's entirely dramatic, making things bigger than they have to be time and time again. Jin likes things to be a big deal sometimes- It comforts her, knowing that she's no the only one who can get angry about the things she does. If she's angry and frustrate by herself, she feels alone. Jin Kyung simply isn't confident. She knows that she's pretty and that she has talent- Otherwise she wouldn't be put in the lineup for a group- But what else to her is there? There's always someone prettier than her, there's always someone who sings and raps better than her, there's always someone with a better personality than her. This is the way she's been forced to think for years- There's always going to be someone better than her, she's useless.

background : Jin Kyung was born to a very unhappy family. Her father was always working, and her older brother was constantly getting into trouble. Her mother cared for her the best she could, but all-in-all, she wasn't really cut out to be a mother. Finally, one day, her father told her mother to get a job and that he would take care of the kids, and she did. Jin Kyung's life improved a lot after that, as her father was well-equiped to care for children, and adored them. She was a total daddy's girl, no doubt.

Her family became much happier, minus her older brother who simply hated life. By sixteen he was always drinking and partying, smoking and doing drugs when he had the chance. There were so many times that he and their parents would get into major arguments, which scared the hell out of her. Finally, when he was eighteen, he moved out and never looked back.

When she was ten, her mother got a job that paid enouh to keep their house, as well as it allowed her to work from home. She became much closer with her parents, and life was good- Great, even. It was her mother who originally got her into music- She alwats told her daughter that she had the most beautiful voice, and encouraged her to take lesson, and thus Jin Kyung did. She enjoyed the time she spent training her voice, and when she was in middle school, she found her talent for rapping.

When she was thirteen, she auditioned for Big Hit and made it in. She was so glad to be there- It was amazing, really. She was overjoyed to be a trainee, though it was hard balancing it with school, it was worth it. Unfortuantely, not too long after she became a trainee, there was an accident that killed both of her parents. Immediately, with no other family, Jin Kyung was sent to live with her older brother. It was merely a few weeks before he hit her for the first time, and since then her life has been a mix of hell and just trying to live happily.

— Kim Jaeseok : Older brother + 26 & Nurse = After their parents died, Jin Kyung was sent to live with her estranged older brother whom she hadn't seen since she was eight- And he was rarely home when he did live his family, so it was like he as a stranger, and most certainly not a kind one. Somewhat luckily for her, he still lived close enough to the Big Hit training building so she didn't have to quit, and she even went to the same school, but she could barely believe it when he first hit her. From then on, it's been an endless cycle of fear and pain. Jaeseok, for whatever reason hates his baby sister to bits, and would do anything if it meant she suffered. He threatens her with lies and rumors, all to keep her under his grasp. There's no love for her, but somewhere she still looks for an older brother who would care for her, which is one of the biggest reasons (Besides her career as an idol that she wants oh so badly) why she hasn't left.

They've known each for as long as they can remember- Way before her parents died.  TThey share nearly all of their classes, and simply know everything about each other- Crushes, annoyances, even those embarassing times, like  when you have a rash on your and you're wondering what it is. They have no qualms about speaking the truth, crying to each other, etc. They always have sleepovers at Areum's whenever Jaeseok isn't home for the night. They are, absolutely, best friends.
— Jeon Jungkook : Close friend + 18 & idol = Jungkook is Jin's favorite member of BTS. Not only are they closest in age, but Jungkook tends to treat her like a little princess- And he calls her that, to. Jungkook is like the kind of older brother Jin Kyung wanted. He loves this little girl to death, and they're always practicing and eating together, Junkook happily proclaiming through Big hit that he's "finally found his long-lost baby sister!" And they do act like it. It's super cute.

Yoora is a Korean language teacher, and she occassionally doubles as the school nurse when she's out. Yoora has know about Jin's abusive situation for about three years, known her for four, and it always who the girl she goes to when she's hurt too badly. Yoora is very much a mother figure for Jin, as she used to be her elemtary school teacher until she moved to middle school. When she found out about Jin Kyung's situation, she started to move up her teaching a grade each year to match with Jin's grade.

trainee life - Jin Kyung had a rough trainee life. In 2012, her parents died, so she had only been a trainee for a few months (Six) when she had to live with her brother. He was absolutely furious when she told him, saying "No sister of mine is going to be a ty idol , no matter how ing useless and ugly they are!" yet continue being a trainee she did. Her injuries often caused her trouble in dancing, so she never truly inproved as a dancer. The young girl was well-liked, though, for her sweet and cute personality. She was kind to everyone, and while there were a few bullies, she was happy with life. She became especially close with the main-vocalist-to-be of Kiss, as she protected her from the meaner, jealous trainees and always helped hre improve her voice with new tips. After over four years, though, Jin Kyung began to doubt even realy becoming an idol. The main vocalist always kept her smiling, though, and she did the same for her- Jin Kyung wasn't blind, she knew that the main vocalist had a problem, though she wasn't quite sure what. All she knew was that she had to keep this wonderful Unnie smiling for the days to come.

personality - Lee Taemin is a very patient person. As he's been an idol for years, he's learned how to hold his temper fairly well. He is also very kind, hating to hurt other's feelings. If he so much as raises his voice at someone he feels like he killed a puppy or kitty. Taemin is always giving money to the homeless, or buying toys, books, clothes, etc. for the orphanage next to his apartment. Even if he's made plans, though, if the other end drops them he adapts to the moment in an instant. He can change his whole attitude depending on where he's going and what attitude he knows he'll need to have. He can easily make himself fit into a group of people.
Despite his good qualities, Taemin can get very annoyed, easily. If someone's talking for way too long, or repeating themselves, he'll flip his , seriously. He hates it when people are repetitive or monotone, and if someone speaks one bad thing about someone he cares about, there will  be hell to pay. Taemin also tends to get stubborn- Very stubborn. If he wants something, he wants it. Just give it to him. Don't argue. Not to mention his awful problem with being stressed. He can rarely calm down, it's hard for him to relax. Every little thing bugs him to no end, and the pressure of being "perfect" for his parents.. He has a hard time dealing with it all due to his own faults as a person.
history - Taemin and Jin Kyung met during a few SHINee fansign events. She's been a fan of SHINee since they debuted (Even though she was only nine at the time), and each time she went, she stood out. Why? Because she would greet each member as -ssi (Example: Annyeonghaseyo, Lee Taemin-ssi). Most would say oppa, or a nickname, but Jin Kyung found that to be disrespectful when they weren't personal friends. She always asked that they sign with with "To Jin Kyung-ssi," so that way they they were both equally formal. One day, at a fansign even in 2012, when she was thirteen, Jin Kyung this time greeted them as sunbaenim (Example: Annyeonghaseyo,Taemin sunbaenim). They were all quite confused, but followed her new wish to sign "To Jin Kyung hoobae-" except for Taemin, who definitely remembered her. This time, against her wishes, she signed "To Jin Kyung-ah," which made her blush and ask why he did that. In return, Taemin shot the question as to say she always refered to them a -ssi, and now sunbaenim. She replied that -ssi was the term she should use as they weren't personal, and now that she was a Big Hit trainee, she knew she was going to debut, and in no time they would be sunbae and hoobae. Taemin was strangely happy for her, and wished her good luck. They met at many events after this, and when Jin Kyung was fifteen, Taemin decided that she was trustworthy enough to give her his number- Not to mention, she was kind of cute, and a really good dongsaeng.
interactions -
Since then, they've become really close friends, though Taemin does feel a sort of pity for the girl who had been waiting to debut for so long. She always assures him that it's okay, but he knows it's not. Still, he treats her very well- Like a best friend and dongsaeng. They like to eat together (Though normally in the safety of Taemin's apartment), and Taemin trains her vocals, and gives her tips on how to improve her dancing (Which helps a lot, but she's just not a dancer, it seems). They're fairly respectful with each but can get friendly. They don't have  a problem with light punching/slappng the other, or sitting close, but that's about it. The age difference is preeee-tty awkward, to be honest, since she's majorly under age, so they never do much skinship or anything. Their ages get in the way of being truly comfortable.
