Some of you may know that I am an aspiring vegetarian and Vegan. I've been wanting to convert for the longest time, but with an ignorant mother who forces to me to consume meat, I have to wait until I leave the house to buy my own food.

Anyways,

I stumbled upon this guy named Gary Yousofsky. He is a vegan animal rights activist and I heard he use to work to Peta too. I am currently watching a video where he is talking to a news reporter about things and he just tears her apart with facts and scenerios and she keeps just opening . Its like watching an 8 year old talk to a college professor.

I want to talk about some points he made during the interview.

1. He talks abouts how the animal food industry is exactly like the holocaust, but worse. When I heard this, it sparked my interest immediately. The news reporter talked about how she thought that was offensive even though she isn't Jewish. He goes further into the subject saying, "Go to a factory farm, replace the animals for Jews. What do you have? Auschwitz. You have a building that is meant to dismantel, to torment, torture, and murder innocent beings. You go back in time to Auschwitz or Burka and replace Jews for animals, you still have a Holocaust. We learned how to kill Jews by how we killed our animals. They studied what the meat industry did, how they killed the animals for meat. The only difference is that the Jews got saved, the animals are still in it".

This was honestly one of the biggest eye openers I ever heard. He is exactly right about what he said. If we take out the animals from a slaughter house and replace it with people, we have a Holocaust. For him to put such a topic into a highly sensitive without being offensive to bring light to a subject is incredible. 

The lady (right after talking about the Holocaust comparison) says that animals kill animals. He then throws out a statistic saying that 75% of animals on this earth are herbaviores. She then goes ahead and says that is part of OUR circle of life and then he says "No its a part of the circle of torture and death". This woman then goes on to try and compare humans to lions and how its natural for lions to eat zebras. You know what his response was? "I noticed you have clothes on, a cellphone, a computer at home. It is unfair to pick one characteristic lions do to mimic when you won't mimic anything else they do. When lions get up to greet each other- they smell each others asses. When I came here, you didn't kneel down and smell my . Lions sometimes kill their young if they're runts. If a human being killed their baby, they would be sent to jail for murder. Do you think you could go to a court room and say, 'Honor, lions kill their babies, why cant I?' its unfair comparison. You are not a lion."

I honestly laughed so hard during this part. He straight up clowned on her to the max and you could see the irritation in her still because she started trying to be smart with him and then would stammer when he put her in her place.

3. She tries to say that humans are carnivores and he tells her that the human mouth is designed to grind their teeth which is something herbivores do, if we were carnivores, we would be able to rip meat apart by chopping on it. He then says, "If you placed an apple and a puppy in a crib with a two year old, the two year old would play with the bunny and eat the apple. You let me know when a baby eats the puppy and plays with the apple. We are clearly herbavoires." 

This is true. We were not made to eat meat, that is why our teeth are not sharp.  The toddler comparison was nice too because you know its true. You never seen a baby trying to eat an animal, you see them put other things in their mouths.

I've heard a lot of people try and save that Hitler was a vegetarian and that he loved animals, but then have this guy give me examples and people names of the people who worked with Hitler say that he was meat eater, thats all the proof you need. 

I love the last part where she starts smirking and then says, "You know some people call you a terrorist" and he responds at the end, "If I am called a terrorist for trying to save animals, what do we call people who slaughter and torment them?" the look on her face and the quick change.

She is still just an ignorant person who doesn't want to face the truth.
