Today, I was doing my homework for a certain subject for my Master's degree, I was randomly choosing what to listen to in Spotify. I tried Christmas songs in celebration of the coming holidays. While listening, I tried TTS Dear Santa, english version but seconds into listening,I wanted to to hear Santa You Are the One. I was browsing Super Junior in Spotify, and then Bam, I saw the Album Acha the Repackaged Album of Mr. Simple.

Then instatly I had an instant nostalgia on this reasons why I love them so much, allow me to share it to you. (BASED SOLELY ON ME)

1. They didn't debut as a permanent group. 

They were a gateway, members will change, that was the plan. They fought that stigma and stayed as one of the longest KPOP idols without disbanding. They were an epitome of fighting the external locus of controls that are against them. 

2, Size do not matter in the fandom

Shinding is the only male idol who was accepted by being fat. Even though South Korea is a very aesthetic country, Shindong has paved way in becoming an idol despite the size.

3. No one is considered ugly in the group and gets REALLY DESCRIMINATED BY IT.

Yes, Hyukjae was called ugly but it was a laughing matter to the idols and not a real deal that had caused descrimination.

4. The songs are very heart warming

When I hear Storm, Memories and Y, I always end up tearing up, Their voice is just.

5. They really love their FANS: ELF

Lastly, even though they were not fond of being shipped with each other and fan service, they always end up doing it with others. They are touchy yes that's understood but I know deep down it was awkward. They had a show before that listens to what the fans want them to do, honestly, I always compare them with other idols because I think they had endured a lot and they are not really allowed to date or get married. They are tired but keeps on going on. Being in the military, they endure a lot. 

Super Junior saved me from being a pathetic person who never know how to laugh. During the time that I felt that the world betrayed me, I learned about them. Every variety shows and songs (Esp. No Other) made me happy. I get to appreciate things that are given to me because they get to teach me that sometimes, because we work hard, we tend to endure and get what we want. 

From being a gateway idol group who was bound to disband to a boy group who covered the world with SAPPHIRE BLUE. 

I am always proud to call myself  ELF.
