Reminiscing 2K15

SO, 2k15 have been a hectic, yet amazing year for me. I'm 16 this year, not yet really but still, sixteen. I am in my second last year of school and somehow I just don't want this year to end. I want to start all over again. The studying, because the new subjects that I took this year is challenging but very fun to learn and even my new classmates this year is quite fun to be around.

And the most important thing is, I became a debater this year. Which is my current burning passion right now. My first debate tournament is around March, or is it February? But around those two early months. It was the first time I'm debating in front of people I didn't know, and I was nervous af! But our teacher, she said that I did a good job and I sound like someone who is into debate for a few years now, although I still did some mistakes. It was a great experience for me, and I met quite a number of new friends.

And then we stopped debating for a while because two debaters in our team was selected for taking PISA exam. And that was me. And one of the boy - no, scratch that, the only boy - in our team. That, too, was fun. We had camps in resorts and again, I met new people, and I learn new and wonderful things. To be frank, I love PISA and I think that our learning syllabus should be changed to what we learned during PISA because man, that would be so much fun.

Then we had our school's annual Open Day where it's a lot like a fun fair, minus the giant rides. Only the food stalls and small games and activities, but it was still fun since my batch was given the honors to handle it.

Then we went for the biggest event of the year for debating - for my school at least - which is the annual HKSBP where we compete against other snobby schools. We did great, really. It's the team's biggest accomplishment yet ever since our club was founded (which is only 4 years by the way) and I felt really, really good. And then when we came back to school the rest are preparing for the school's annual sports day, or as we call it, HOTS (Hari Olahraga Tahunan Semesra) it was so much fun painting the banners in the middle of the school lawn, preparing the marching team with their costumes and whatnot, getting only 20 minutes of sleep because we're preparing for everything the whole night. And guess what? It paid off. We won both awards we're trying to accomplish, which is the March of the Year and Best Camp Decoration and we really did wow people. Even though we didn't get the overall cup (we lost to the green house, which has been holding the cup ever since the school was founded, no lie, they never lose during sports day) but at least we come in 2nd place and won both awards which all of us (the ones in charge, of course) has been eyeing.

And then the highlight of my year. I went to Korea for a debate tournament. No, I am not lying. I went to Seoul, South Korea for a debate. That's one thing checked off from my bucket list. I love that place so much. We went to Gyongbukgong Palace, Namsan Tower, Itaewon, Dongdaemun, Namdaemun and our form of transportation is the subway! A lot of the people there were eyeing us though, as if we came from somewhere foreign. Well, we did came from somewhere foreign tho haha. And it's not usual that tourists use the subway to go from place to place but hey, my squad is not usual. We're extraordinaires *inserts yoongi's face*

And then we have Musleh, my last debate tournament this year. Even though it was only in KL, but we earned our best accomplishment there. We got top 12 out of 40 something team, and that, for newbies like us, is a great accomplishment and our teacher was so proud of us :) I love my squad. It will be one of those things I would remember forever.

There. A recap of how my year goes. Hope u guys too had the best year of your life, because it is the best year of my sixteen years of living.

p/s. i didn't failed my exam this time! I am soo happy even tho i didn't get the results that i want (i'm 2 As short to get perfect grades but mehh)
