「 nicknames →
rose her birth name is rose haneul kang, haneul being her korean + middle name. haneul was courtesy of her mother ( since it means sky, her mother was implying that haneul had no limits - dream big and go hard ) and rose was her father's contribution, simply because when they were younger, her parents exchanged roses a lot, roses being a symbol of love. yeah, they were one of those cheesy romantic 1950 couples.
jangmi ( 장미 ) just a continuation of the rose thing. only those super close to her call her this ( her mom, grandma, dahyun, and maybe the other friend ), since they're the only ones aware of it's existence. haneul's dad has always been a kind of sensitive topic, but her name is the best remnant she has of him and it's very precious to her, so of course only those precious to her call her it.
resident kpop star haneul loves kpop. that's pretty much the only thing her playlist consists of and she's been into it since like 1st grade. over the years, however, she's grown to like more than just the cute boys and pretty girls. she understands the bad sides of the entertainment industry and has pretty deep opinions on issues regarding kpop and the businesses and such, but she usually doesn't reveal this part to others because she's worried they'd think she's lame for being so into her fake celebrities ( bUT THEY'RE NOT FAKE THEY'RE HUMAN TOO -- ). she knows all this bad stuff, and yet she can't see herself enjoying anything else in life as a career, because of course there's a lot of good parts as well.
grandma // halmeoni ( 할머니 ) yes, she is grandma of the group. she has like 3 pairs of halmeoni pants ( pls tell me you know what they look like ) and she doesn't like being athletic at all hah and when she gets up from sitting she makes strained animal grandma noises ( i.e., aigooaigooaigoo omo my back ). but from this stems her mother figure. she may be young for her grade, but that doesn't stop her from loving and caring for her friends. she does things like the little stuff - pulling them out of the way when someone's walking by, cleaning when they spill on themselves, fixing their hair, feeding them, holding their stuff when their hands are full, etc. also, her tallness contributes to this in a way as well.

< don't judge a book by it's cover > fashion blogger kang haneul is always judged by her cover - with her pictures just a click away ( and a majority of them consisting of a blank - faced haneul ), most people expect she's just a cold, emotionless, quiet girl who could care less about...life. but she is the living reason you should nEVER do what the world - famous phrase says. rose haneul kang is known ( amongst people who actually know her obviously otl ) for her contagious smile and positive energy. she has a lot more to her than it seems. the dark hair that falls around her small face does little to cover the brightness of her almost - always - present grin. she's bubbly and curious about the world and works with fashion because she's passionate about it and is a big believer in people doing what they love.
< when in trouble, do not fear ! > haneul finds her refuge in drawing and music. she loves letting the creative juices flow from her brain to the pen ( or pencil whatever why you gotta make things complicated man ) and hearing the passion in which the artists put into the lyrics. she has her opinions and stands firm in them. in a world of status, money, and popularity, she's the girl who knows. the girl who takes a step back into reality and sees the corruption. she's the girl who does what she does and makes sure she does it with the right heart in the hopes that someone bigger than her will notice and come to their senses.

haneul's personality is pretty contradicting and somewhat complicated to understand. she's very adaptable to the situation, which is contributed to by her observance skills. she notices lots of little things and that helps her to understand people and situations and such. she's a good judge of character as well and doesn't need to spend too much time with someone in order to get to know their general personality. haneul is a big believer in people being different. everyone has different levels of tolerance - tolerance on what they want to hear, what they can say, etc. she's very accepting of these tolerance levels, she herself even having them ( and them being very broad ), but just because she's aware of this doesn't mean she's more carefree around people. this little knowledge she has actually gives her a bit more anxiety than usual because she's like wHAT IF THIS PERSON IS SENSITIVE ACK so she's very like i need to watch what i say and so sometimes she says things and even if the other person is super carefree as well, she still gets insecure about what she says or does because what if they took it the wrong way ack. and so of course knowing all this about people being different, she's very open - minded and acceping of things. anything is possible, honestly, and everyone can have secrets. her open - mindedness makes her a very good listener and she works to not offend people by just being there for them and not judging their situation. she's also an empathetic person, especially to those she loves, hating when she sees them suffer in any way. she really is the villager from the emperor's new groove - she believes there's good in everyone and doesn't like judging them too much, leaving room for the unexpected. she doesn't like hating people and doesn't really understand that concept, and so is kind to everyone, despite her sarcasm that can sometimes make an entrance ( but it's never too harsh sarcasm. she limits herself according to the person and their sensitivity ).
like stated above, she' can be very insecure at times when it comes to things she's done and said, because she ultimately doesn't want to offend people. she knows that it's impossible to please everyone, but stupid her still tries for some reason, and she hates it because she doesn't like being anxious all the time. she worries about these things a lot - about how people think of her, if they took something the wrong way, etc. she's also kind of a worrywart in general. she may seem kind of free - spirited, but sometimes her imagination can go wild and she'll sometimes worry over nothing. her self - consciousness also goes along with her insecurity. for one, she's very indecisive. honestly, she doesn't even know why it's so excruciatingly hard for her to make decisions ( dahyun has realized it's useless to ask where she wants to eat ) and she dislikes it because people tend to not like indecisive people. because of this, she's not very outspoken. when it comes to casual conversation, she might get excited and talk a lot, but unless she's with someone she's super comfortable with, she doesn't like really sharing her opinions or anything because what if they think she's lame --. that's pretty much it, honestly. i'm sorry i at explaining ;; but i think the most i can say is that she's honestly not fully one trait. she's just...mostly that. so she's almost always happy and weird and loud because she doesn't want to burden people with her downness, but ( usually by herself ) she can also be very self - conscious and is actually much more deep and insightful than you think she'd be. ( when i said she was easy - going, that was my fault and i kind of misinterpreted the word. she's just easy - going when it comes to people since she's very accepting and understanding and doesn't like showing her stressed side to people. her worrywart side is just a side effect of her insecurity because she's always worrying if someone misunderstood her. and her awkwardness is usually just when she's around strangers or people who are at somewhat of a higher status than her, be it they're older, more experienced, or even if she just thinks they're cooler. she doesn't want to act like she doesn't respect them or someting, so she kind of just keeps quiet and sometimes, when people ask her questions or when she's put on the spot, she'll kind of panic and not say what she wants to. ) ( and so like character devlopment squeals !! bc she learns that she doesn't have to satisfy everyone for herself to be happy, and sometimes it's okay to put yourself before others.
< don't judge a book by it's cover > ( so like that was like insight on her deep down personality, but this is what people see. the weird happy virus who they can talk to and depend on. and then like omg you know people are always leaning on her but who is she going to lean on?? koffjungkookkoff ) and herself is just wow. people think she's normal and sophisticated because she's a fashion blogger ?? how does that work? but haneul is kind of 4d, kind of socially awkward, and very weird and unpredictable. she makes weird faces and has lots of weird habits. her laugh tends to change every time it makes an appearance and she has this weird signature smirk where one end of her lip curls up and she makes weird noises a lot and honestly she feels even weirder at times because she finds herself really lanky bc she's like tall and skinny and she finds that awkward so she is kind of awkward and just likes being weird because then it's not like she's trying to be pretty and cute but people are just feeling awkward because she's not it's like i'm acting weird and people think i'm weird so it's all cool. she's also kind of tomboy - ish more than she is a girly - girl. this is also surprising, since she looks very feminine and serene in her pictures, but hA YOU THOUGHT. she likes sitting with her long legs spread and she likes the comfortable casual tomboy style and she likes hip hop and getting hyped and she has a pretty deep voice and she can not deal with aegyo - y girls who speak in high pitched voices. she also kind of has social anxiety because like idk how to explain this. one example is ordering food. she's fine ordering, but she doesn't like being difficult and having like special - ish orders because then that requires more talking and more questions and she is not ready for that because in that situation she panics and tends to say the opposite of what she wants but she's too scared to call them back and be like 'sorry can you change this?'. yeah she's weird.

< you light up my sky > on november 22, 1997 in the cozy town of saecho - ri, kang haneul was born and raised by parents who are just as kind - hearted and good - willed as she is today. choi bitna and kang chanho were the cheesiest pair of married people you could find, like, ever, and the trio was known for being the center of saecho - ri's positivity. they made sure to raise haneul the right way with the right morals and the right manners, and to this day, haneul works hard to be a daughter her parents can always be proud of, which explains why she's so loving and open - minded to everything ( her insecurity and stuff kind of just sprouted from nowhere, but the small seed was planted by a short phase in which she was obsessed with being the perfect daughter for her perfect parents ). her parents ran a little store of just random things for stuff like house decor, nifty appliances, snacks, etc. it was like a sophisticated convenience store with random things that actually came in handy, and thanks to the low prices, pretty much everyone in saecho - ri found themselves charmed by the store and you could see their merchandise everywhere. the store had a pretty long name - 'you light up my sky' - ( with a cute theme and paint job inside with clouds and stuff everywhere ) but everyone kind of just called it the store, the kang family store, the you - know - that - place, etc. the name comes from chanho's catch phrase about his family - with his wife named bitna and his daughter named haneul, he kind of just had an epiphany one day and kept using it because he thought he was oh - so -clever. ( honestly just think of a super lovey - dovey couple bC THAT'S THEM -- like writing love letters to each other even after they're married and passing notes to each other at the dinner table and making little haneul cry because she can't read yet until they tell her what they say. "it says 'let's give haneul an extra scoop of ice cream tonight!" "yEAHH !!" ) chanho had a job ( other than taking care of the store once in a while ) outside of saecho - ri working with construction and stuff. he was getting old and aging, and with age comes sickness. he always had something like a fever or a cold or a sore back or something, until one day, the unexpected happened. he was told he had a brain tumor and the family had to move out of saecho - ri to a city with better, more advanced hospital treatment when haneul was only 7 ( aka seoul. or wherever the girls are from ? i forget ahah ). however, the family's low income ( which was even lower now that chanho didn't have a job and bitna had to rush to find one ) wasn't enough to pay off the hospital bills, but according to the doctor's words, "not even money would save him". it was a generous year that God had given them until he passed away two months before haneul's 8th birthday on september first at 2:22AM.
< cHA DAHYUN !! > 8 year old haneul found it very difficult to fit in, especially after the huge loss she suffered. it was a devastating thing to go through at such a young age, and all she ever longed for was to be happy. her mom was always trying to be happy for her and the two made it by by knowing that chanho was in a better place now. she started going to school in seoul ( ?? ), but all her friends having been at the small city of saecho - ri, she wasn't ready for these big city people. and then she saw cha dahyun. the loud, energetic girl was just so wild and free and...happy. happiness was something haneul hadn't truly experienced in a while and dahyun was like the physical embodiment of it to haneul. from afar, haneul admired the outspoken little girl and found herself laughing more just by watching dahyun's antics. this went on for a few months until the class had a class project and were placed in groups by rows. dahyun and haneul were the only girls in their row and dahyun immediately took to the shy girl who seemed to have a good enough sense of humor. she vowed to protect her from the boys in their row and after that, they started getting closer and hanging out more and soon became best friends, all because of that one project ( they got an a on it hAH ). note ; she loves torturing dahyun with her puns. "hey, you got a license? living up to your name CHA dahyun AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH" "hey can you pass me some CHA dahyun? *points to the tea with her signature smirk*"

< park jamin > ( no that is not a typo. ) growing up in saecho - ri, haneul is, of course, used to the traditions of saecho - ri such as the bonfires and the welcoming process and the people. and guess who was her bestest friend? park to the jam to the jimin. and guess who was her childhood crush? park to the jammy jim gym gym bc he works out now wow cries. the two were the best friends from the opposite gender that the other had and were somewhat chidhood sweethearts. they were kind of saecho - ri's secret otp and they always had playdates together and picnics and they ran errands together and as 5 year olds they'd hold hands on the street and such. and then haneul had to move. they were little and while the reality of the situation hadn't hit them fully, the fact that they couldn't be together anymore did. the two separated with tears threatening to fall from their little eyes. and now that haneul has made an unexpected vist, the feelings have decided to as well. everything came rushing back - memories, inside jokes, etc. haneul was very flustered and didn't know what to do but was just glad that he remembered her and everything and that they could be normal ( while she died on the inside ). she continued to be conflicted over him, especially as she and jungkook got closer, but soon she realized who she wanted ( which is jungkook hah sorry chimchim ). note ; jimin kind of liked her as a little boy as well and now that she's back, he's conflicted as well but he tries to tell himself it's just the child in him. he's right - it was kind of just a fantasy that the two lived through, thinking they liked each other but being too young to understand. and he eventually realizes jungkook has the hots for her and is like i got you man.

@khaneul | fashion blogger kang haneul goes by screen name hana ( flower in japanese why japanese idek ). she has her own little website blog thing called numberonefashion.com ( one bc hana is also one, y'know what i'm saying? ) and she uploads reviews if asked too and she does some modeling for like the clothes she reviews and she uploads vlogs and stuff. her instagram account and twitter account have about 20K followers each and so ofc she who is into aesthetics takes her nikon camera and records stuff and takes pictures and stuff ( scrapbook ???!!! ). she doesn't like saying she's "famous" though, just...well - known? at school, people kind of just treat her the same because the students have all grown up with each other so they knew her before she got all those subscribrs and such, but it's always cool to them that they have something close to a celebrity at their school. and then if new students come and stuff, they like exaggerating about haneul and her "fame" and such just for the fun of it. "omg she has like 5 million subscriers" "she's super gorgeous but she's like ice princess wow" "chill haneul we're getting you more fame"
cheetos, lollipops, and pringles, oh my ! | haneul loves junk food. she is in charge of snacks for this trip ( "what should we eat first, hot cheetos or shrimp crackers or sweet potato crackers or candy or cookies?" "omfg haneul" ) and people wouldn't expect her to be hoarding all this food because as a model / fashion blogger, shouldn't she watch her diet and such? and yes, yes she does, okay chill. she eats rather healthy and works out once in a while to kill the fat she gains from the whole bag of hot cheetos she ate at 11pm the other day.
"your loss." | when haneul first met sujin, she had come over to their house just to hang out with dahyun and had bumped into the other sister on the way up the stairs. sujin was fairly surprised because dahyun's friends were usually all like hipster ?? i guess with their lace crop tops and knit cardigans but this girl looked sophisticated and put together and sujin kind of tried talking to her to see if she was potential friend ?? but haneul was kind of oblivious to the ulterior motive and was like "sorry, dahyun's waiting for me..." *runs away* and sujin was like like tWITCHES and she's always kind of been salty to haneul so the two kind of have beef with each other which haneul is sad about because she just wants to be nice to each other but sujin is beautiful and intimidating so the road trip is slightly awkward. ( sORRY IF I KIND OF INTERPRETED SUJIN WRONG LIKE WOULD YOU DO THIS ?? IDK )
resident kpop star | with a nickname like that, people would expect her to have at least some talent. and she kind of does. she's found a passion for singing and even dancing and she's just very appreciative of music and people who write music and such. her mother, however, being a christian, didn't really like that path since she was also aware of the sketchiness of it all and the difficulty to stay religious in that environment. however, she always wants to support her daughter and if haneul actually really legit wants to go on that path, then she "might think about it". note ; haneul is kind of in love with music though. it's kind of like her refuge and it always cheers her up and makes her happy and she's like singing to herself 24/7 ( group jukebox )
i might be daddy long legs but there can only be one so pls kill the spider | haneul hates spiders. hATES them. insects, reptiles, crawly things, anything and everything. but kind of especially spiders. bugs in general. ok everything. but legit she can not deal with them. which is why dahyun is an angel sent from heaven who will kill all the bugs for her ( but she better not touch her after unless she washes her hands ). for the first few months they were friends, dahyun kind of just made fun of haneul because of the phobia and would be like taunting her with the hand she just killed a bug wth or saying there's a spider near her, but once she realized that haneul's fear of it was, like, deathly, she didn't mess with haneul anymore and will definitely have a go at anyone who uses it against her ( it's like legit she can't handle bugs. she will 99% cry if there's one on or near her or if no one's around to kill it for her and she's never been left alone with one and will probably never kill one. the most she can probably do is drop a book on it and leave the book there until someone comes to clean it up ). note ; daddy long legs is a minor nickname that rarely pops up but it's just because she has long legs hah.
taste tester | haneul can't cook for her life. don't even 'oh, you're just exaggerating!' her. she legit has no common sense in the kitchen. she can microwave stuff and peel and cut fruit and pour milk into her cereal but that's pretty much it. she hasn't even tried making ramen by herself. so she's usually the taste tester since dahyun knows it's pretty hopeless to think haneul will be of any help when it comes to making food.
< random tidbits > ( so like idk how to like make these their own and plus you want seven so like yeah hahah i'm such a cheater ) | 1. she's a morning person. no matter how late she sleeps, if she wakes up like at or after 7 then she can't go back to sleep and she hates it because sHE WANTS TO SLEEP IN. 2. her music style is ultimately kpop, but since kpop can go in many different genres as well, she likes to say that she listens to different genres such as hip hop, ballad, r&b, etc. she doesn't really have a favorite, she likes em all. 3. she's kind of similar to sujin in the way she takes care of her skin, but honestly, sujin is way more picky about it than haneul. sure, haneul doesn't like getting dirty or anything and she knows she should take care of herself, but once in a while not doing it is okay, you know? tis cool man. 4. she loves making fun of dahyun's height heh. 5. she wears contacts bc without them she's like legally blind velma or something. 6. she really likes heels but likeshe's too tall and lanky and she doesn't necessarily like towering over her friends so she's just looking forward to a tall boyfriend. 7. by her parent's influence, she is christian as wel, but it's not like super like i MUST CHANGE YOU MY FRIEND but she's still really dedicated to it and so no, she doesn't smoke or drink or anything.

< little town, it's a quiet village > jungkook wasn't born in the small town, but he's adapted to saecho - ri pretty quickly, as well as vice versa. they've gotten used to the seeing the 19 year old carry on with his childish antics, but the more reasonable adults who actually take the time to notice, know that there's more to the boy than the eye lets on. to most outsiders, he's just the blunt troublemaker who just does whatever he wants because yolo, and yes, he can be childish at times, but jungkook is a loyal, hard - working boy who kind of just wants to have fun. he knows when to stop and if he does, by chance, ever go overboard, he'll sincerely apologize and probably do whatever it takes to make it up to the other side. very very deep inside, he's just a sensitive little boy who wants to be accepted with his fluffy blue cardigan. back in busan, where he was born, he wasn't really treated well. he was kind of outcasted, and when he came to saecho - ri, he saw it as a new chance. buuut it didn't really work out the way he wanted. he found himself simply longing for the acceptance and at first, he did whatever the "cooler" boys wanted him to in order to "fit in". then he met cute little mama's boy jimin who pretty much changed his perspective on a lot of things. some of the troublesome personality is left over from the "cool boys" ( who eventually left him alone after he got closer with jimin ) stayed behind, but he's matured much more. ( i know this is kind of background, but i think it was also a big part of his personality too so yeah )

< i wish that i could be like the cool kids > jeon jungkook was born in busan, and while he acquired his much - loved and much - used satoori from there, there was nothing else really that was...good. his father was a drunkard and kind of made a bad name for their family and jungkook was outcasted ever since he was a little boy. he was bullied - called names, thrown twigs at, left out, ignored. his only refuge was his mother who sang him soft lullabies to calm him to sleep after he cried his eyes out. their father was never home, and eventually, jungkook ( and his mother ) couldn't take it anymore and left their hometown and the bad memories it produced.
< welcome to saecho - ri, ggomaengi > when the duo moved to the small town, 8 year old jungkook realized this was his chance. in this place where no one knew his father, he could make friends and be accepted. but this idea of "fitting in" overtook his mind and he started hanging with the wrong crowd. a group of older, rowdy boys who were always causing trouble lured him in with their promise of him being in the "cool" crowd. "cool" is what was in. "cool" is what jungkook wanted. "cool" was horrible. they forced ( rather aggresively ) him to ditch his satoori and speak like a "normal kid", they made him vandalize street signs, they made him go on crazy shopping cart rides down the street ( with no brakes ), they degradingly dubbed him 꼬맹이. the worst part, though, was "initiation". it happened once every other month. they humiliated him in public and he made a fool out of himself in front of all of saecho - ri multiple times. all the citizens just watched, aware of the group of chaotic boys, having given up a while ago on trying to tame them. they simply looked on at the boy in secondhand embarassment and smpathy and jungkook realized this was pretty much the same thing as being bullied. being "cool" wasn't the answer. jungkook ( who had always been strong in his own way ) stood up to the boys ( 7 painful years later at age 15 ). he got beaten up for it, but he had never felt better.
< try some jam, it'll make you feel better ! > park jimin was a big part of jungkook's life in saecho - ri. since day 1, he had always been there, offering the same - aged boy a piece of white bread with some jam ( the flavors varied by day ) spread on it from the sample tray, with the same words. "try some jam, it'll make you feel better!" at first, jungkook just thought he was some weird, creepy kid who had a jam or something. when he first started hanging out with the group of "bad boys", he started to get annoyed of the boy who approached him the same way every single day. later on, though when he started to realize what being "cool" meant, jimin was the one thing jungkook could always count on to try to cheer him up. but he still rejected the jam. and then the day came when he got beaten up. he was heading home, not knowing what to do with his bloody and bruised face that his mother would definitely freak out over, when he neared the jam store. jimin was definitely not the first thing on his mind, but when he came outside with a sample tray with one last piece left ( with strawberry jam ) and said the same 8 words he always had the past 7 years, jungkook broke down. wordlessly, jimin set the tray down and hugged the sobbing teenager. after a few minutes, jungkook calmed down, and jimin invited him inside so his mom could clean the bloody boy up. "ut before we go inside, try some jam. it'll make you feel better." jimin grinned. jungkook gave him a slightly defeated smile and popped the small cube of bread in his mouth. "it's good." he nodded. "really? that's my secret strawberry recipe!" jimin's smile grew even wider. "so...do you feel better?" jungkook grinned, too, something he hadn't done in a long time. "a bit."
< noona, i...i like you > 15. the age he truly started life. the age he started his friendship with park jimin. the age he started puberty. most of the mischeviousness left over from starting off as a troublemaker went to fund operation : jungkook's thirst. first, it was just quiet little crushes, but as time passed, he hAD A HUGE GROWTH SPURT WHAT THE found himself wanting to express himself more. soon, another casual occurency was seeing jeon jungkook at dope coffee with a different noona every week or month or so. it started off as an immature, childish thing, but now it kind of seemed like habit. jungkook was taking the term "like" lightly and he just threw it at any girl who was older than him that showed any bit of interest in him. why not a dongsaeng? "nah, they're too immature." ( huh. how ironic. ) ( jungkook : shut up haneul ) this habit of his didn't really get him any good publicity with...anyone. parents banned their little thirsty girls from talking to him and elders scorned him for looking at love like it was nothing and none of the noonas he, uh, confessed to accepted him. saecho - ri girls were more classy than that.

사실은 처음 봤을때부터 내 맘 속으로부터 그댄 파도처럼 밀려들어 when the girls first arrived in saecho - ri, jungkook didn't know of their presence until he saw haneul with his own eyes. after the girls did ( whatever they're going to do...get settled? get gas? ), haneul decided to go take a walk down memory lane, which, of course, consisted of visiting park jimin. so she's approaching the store and jungkook sees the girl and immediately takes a liking to her. "hey, park jimin. look at her." he grins, already evaluating who he thinks is a noona because she looks older than she actually is. jimin looked up and furrowed his eyebrows at the girl who looked somewhat familiar. he pretty much ignored jungkook as he walked out of the store and stared at the girl who was coming closer. the girl noticed him and her face lightened up, then went back to normal, looking like she was trying hard to stay calm. "park jimin!" she called out somewhat hesitantly. jungkook, who was definitely interested and confused by now, came out of the store as well, and was surprised to see jimin's face brighten up in amazement and recognition. "kang haneul!" the jam boy cried out and ran up to her, embracing her in a hug. "what happened? how did you - why did you - where have you - oh my god." he hugged her again and jungkook could see tears forming at the corners of the girl's eyes. "ah, why are you crying?" jimin held her at arm's length, tears threatening even him as he asked her the question in the satoori she always found interesting. the two continued to make small talk and and catch up with each other, making their way into the shop. time seemed to fly by as the two talked and talked, even forgetting that jungkook was there, sitting at a table next to them with his chin resting on his fist as he glared at them.

"what the -- wow is that all i was? *fake cries*" "*laughs* jeon jungkook, this is kang haneul, my childhood friend who moved away right when you moved in." "oh wow, what a coincidence!" haneul laughed and stuck a hand out. "the name's kang haneul." she smiled him a brilliant smile and it was 'love at first sight'. but of course, the boy takes that term lightly and continues to think haneul's just a noona he can 'swindle'. he treats her pretty much the same as he has other girls - trying to catch her alone, acting mature and mysterious, being all flirty - but what's different this time is park jimin. whenever haneul and jimin hung out,it was like he was third wheeling. haneul did ry to include him, of course, but it was obvious to junngkook that she cared about jimin more. jimin never interfered with jungkook's noona antics, and even now it wasn't on purpose, but jungkook still found him in the way and he also found himself acting different.
i thought i never gonna fall in love with the first girl to not really pay attention to him, jungkook found himself slowly losing confidence and becoming aware of the reckless hormonal teenager he was. he started getting quieter about his feelings and didn't approach haneul as strongly about his 'feelings' anymore and found himself truly thinking about if they were actually genuine. he's still getting closer to haneul, however, even as she hangs out with jimin a lot as well, and he realizes that she's not the kind of girl who would accept a fling like he goes for. this kind of changes him, especially on the road trip, where jimin is absent ( i'm guessing ?? ) and he has opportunities to get closer to her and really get to know her.

< overall interactions > so of course haneul's kind of caught up in her feelings ( ?? ) for jimin a majority of the time, but of course she's getting close to jungkook as well. whenever haneul and jimin are together, jungkook somehow shows up as well wow coincidence much? but as time passes, she welcomes his presence and gets close to him as well, teasing him and such. jungkook at first is pretty blunt with his 'feelings' for her and tries to be cool in front of her, but when she kind of just brushes it off and laughs at him, that's when he starts rethinking stuff. it soon fades off to him trying to stay away from her before she confuses him more as he tries to sort out his feelings. then it goes to him kind of having figured things out and deciding that he really does like haneul like he hasn't liked anyone before and he tries to genuinely show himsefl to her and win her heart. haneul always kind of acts the same towards him as she did any other guy - 'oh, it's jimin's friend, he's chill.' she would say hi on the street, laugh at his jokes, , etc. her attitude toward him only changes after her feelings for jimin do as well. right after she realizes she doesn't like jimin anymore, jungkook comes in being attractive and mature and different from when he first introduced himself and haneul's kind of confused but i mean she doesn't refuse him. and, of course, she finds herself caring more for him and eventually falling for him. haneul, however, is the type to be really nonchalant about her feelings, so she doesn't tell anyone about it and just continues to act the same around jungkook, trying not to let on to anyone that she likes him.

< buy me ! > that picture ( to the right ) is an actual picture of actual saecho - ri jeon jungkook. he's always seen riding around in a shopping cart and who knows where he got it honestly. he's never told anyone ( except probably park jimin i swear these two share secrets like little girls ), but when he was forced to ride the cart down the street in a craze, he felt a thrill. it was the only small little thing he liked when he was in that group and he didn't want to get rid of the ( somewhat ) good memory. but i mean now it's all good because he replaces the bad memories with new ones of him and jimin. but this is like the boy's mode of transportation because he's too immature and lazy to get his license and he doesn't want to walk and too lazy / poor to buy a bicycle / skateboard. no one ( except park jimin who's jams are too cute to resist ) is allowed to ride it and sometimes you can even see him chilling in it as it leans against a tree. < my secret strawberry recipe ! > ever since that fateful day, jungkook's favorite jimin's jams flavor has always been jimin's secret strawberry recipe. his secret? he keeps the traditional hand - crushing but ditches the organic - ness when he adds 2 1/2 pinches of ( which he makes sure is top quality ) sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons of honey. ( jimin : straight from the hive ! ) ( jungkook : okay jimin ) one time - at age 17, mind you - the two boys "ran away from home" ( they camped out at gassy ) during dinner and just took a bunch of sandwiches with different jams ( mostly jimin's secret recipe ). they went back home the next morning.
< thank the lords for puberty ! > jungkook was a little awkward boy before 15. yes, 15, the age he had crazy hormonal growth and started confessing left and right. these confessions would've gone wack if it hadn't been for puberty. he had a growth spurt, shooting from a 165 cm 15 year old to a 176 cm 16 year old. you could even see him at the park where there were little exercise machines - he'd be running laps around the park and doing pull - ups as little kids ran around and middle - aged women walked laps. in a year, he showed many drastic changes and now is like a different person. he has pretty much the same personality, but his visuals wow like you can see little biceps forming and he dresses better and does his hair up sometimes mmhmm yummy.
< the most beautiful moment in life > along with his physical growth spurt, jungkook found himself some new interests and hobbies and talents. turns out the boy is talented in singing. and dancing. and basically just the area of music in general. he thinks he'd rather like going to a college that focuses on that stuff and he's actually working on a song at the moment and he's just very passionate about it. when he's not being a reckless little boy, he's either singing to himself or dancing in this one old building that no one rented out. this is where his mature side comes in a lot because music to him is art. he wants to reach out to people in ways he never could through his lyrics. he's also glad that he found this passion at a young age so he could grow even more with it.

as a fashion blogger, i embrace many different styles, but i usually just work with vintage - y clothes, props to my favorite sponsor vintage vender !! i don't really prefer skirts and dresses unless for a photoshoot and i actually lean more towards the tomboy - ish side but i still like platforms and heels so my boyfie better be like super tall and i actually don't really like revealing unneccesary skin and i like oversized loose things ( shh dahyun i can write my sentences however i want ). my one rule : comfort. wHY ARE YOU LIMITING ME ON SENTENCES #rebel // brand : a brand i really like is one called googims !! and urban outfitters but less...open ? and of course vintage vender.
