It's thin and barely noticeable, but he got it when when some classmates pushed him down stone steps when he was ten. This one embarasses him greatly, and he can rarely be seen without socks or shoes that cover his whole foot.

Unforunately, he's a very unappreciative person. Jae-Hyun, unlike his brother, isn't thankful for almost anything that he has. He almost feels like he deserves it, in a way. Jae-Hyun thinks he knows it all and that he's all that- He's entirely self-centered. To him, he's got to look out for number one. His world revolves around him and him only. Jae-Hyun is a critical person. He finds and points out every flaw of every person he meets and knows, and has no problem pointing them out. From "That green makes you look yellow," to "Your dancing is ," he's the one that always finds something wrong with everything and anything. Jae-hyun is very dramatic, and always makes things way bigger than they have to be. He's the kind of guy who blows things way out of proportion. He can't help it, he's naturally that kind of person.

background: Lee Jae-Hyun was born twenty years ago to a loving, yet poor family, consisting of his mother, father, and older brother named Jinki. Jinki was five years older than Jae-Hyun, yet they were unbelieveably close. Their family was poor, rarely having enough money to feed the whole family. Still, Jae-Hyun lived happily, his brother teaching him the ways of the world. When they were young, after school they would go to game shops and play the free games. It was embarassing yet fun. His older brother took care of him like no other, giving him advice for life, to how to best eat pasta. They were super close, so close Jinki basically raised him compared to their parents. Their life was hard, yet wonderful.

Jae-Hyun's interest in music started from an early age. His brother was highly interested in singing, and this trickeld down to him as well. They were always holding their own little singing competitions, and by the time Jinki was chosen to debut, they were both tied at ninety-two and ninety-two. Jae-Hyun, unlike his brother, didn't do as great in school, but he wasn't quite bad, either. Jae-Hyun simply didn't see the point in being one of the best in school. He simply found that dedicating his time to music was  more important- And so did Han Beomshim. They met in middle school, and their friendhsip soared from there. When Jinki debuted and he needed a shoulder to cry on? Beomshin was always there. He cared for him well. Soon after, his parents came into ownership of a meat shop, and money increased.

In high school, they and six other boys formed their own music group at Jinki's encouragemnt after his brother mentioned it to him. That time was the best of Jae-Hyun''s life, he was at his best then. Though he had his occasional bouts of anger, depression, etc. like any other normal teenager, he stayed true to his heart. After he graduated, he immediately went onto college where he majors in criminology at Dongguk Unversity. He made many friends (Including Son Naeun of Apink) and his life was all good- until the crew disbanded, after which he lost contact with them all. Nothing eventful in his life has happened since, which is a great disappointment for him. Since then, he's been floating from job to job, majoring in vocal music in college.

It doesn't seem liek there's a lot for him in life anymore.

where does he see himself in five years?: Truthfully? He thinks he'll be living on the streets, begging for money and starving to death. What he really, truly wants? To be living in a nice, suburban home with his girlfriend or boyfriend, being a huge Hallyu idol. In five years, he wants to be loved, have his dream job, and, simply, be happy. personality: Jonghyun is, and always has been, a really warm person. It's an aura about him, and just looking into his eyes, you know that you're safe, comforted, and protected. JOnghyun if someone who looks forward to helping others, and isn't afraid to talk about the subjects that are "forbidden" to talk about by society. Jonghyun has no issue bringing forward the problems that everyone refuses to acknowledge. He's an open supporter of the LGBT+ community, and speaks out against child abuse. He's a caring person- Each individual is someone he cares about. Not too long ago, he personally arranged a free coffee cart for fans who waited outside in the early morning because of Inigakyo's prerecording performances.

But he, like any other, has his faults. Jonghyun is simply too ouspoken of a person. He doesn't see the problem with being completely honest, but this honesty is often unknowingly brutal. He's also surprisingly short-tempered. There have been many times where he's suddenly blown up at people, over the smallest things. how they met: Jae-Hyun and Jonghyun met quite a few years ago, a while before SHInee debuted. Jae-Hyun demanded that he meet the people his brother would be spending the most important years of his life with. When thet all met up, Jonghyun and Taemin ended up gettingreally close to him.
