End of 2015 Contest

Hello my lovelies, I hope you all have been having a nice 2015 so far, and I hope 2016 treats you even nicer! As a kick off to 2015, I’ve decided to host a contest since I’ve exceeded 2,000 subscribers over the past few months, and I want to thank you! Please read everything before joining~!

You can make a Trailer or Poster for one of my fics! You can also send me your theories/wonderings/opinions to me for a chance to win, too!

Ends: 12:00 AM – January 1^st (New Year’s Day!)

Extended to: 12:00AM  -- February 18^th (My Birthday heh)

Rules:

• You must be one of my subscribers.
• You can use any of my fics listed below (the ones that are completed/have at least 2 chapters posted:

Making a Trailer?

• It has to be relevant to the content in my fics
• There is no limit to the length of the trailer
• You may use direct quotes/dialogue from my fics
• Upload through YouTube and PM me a link!
• If you want to make a trailer but want better video editing software – I suggest the free trial of Sony Vegas Pro (This isn’t a must. I usually just use wmm, then use sony vegas to make a nice border. Also, to avoid the vegas pro watermark, simply render it!)

Making a Poster?

• You may include any characters in the graphic as long as they’re relevant to the story!
• You can use short, direct quotes from any of my fics
• You can add your own short description if you want to
• If you make a poster – Upload through whatever you’d like, and PM me a link!
• Need photo editing software? I use Gimp 2!

Examples:

Expressing Your Thoughts? (Basically like a book report – only… It’s a fic report lol)

• At least three paragraphs are needed
• Give your honest opinion of what you’ve read
• If there’s something yet to be revealed – write about what you think could happen and/or the reasons said thing might happen
• Maybe there is a pending confrontation. What do think will happen, and how do you think this will affect those involved?
• You can write about any character(s) you want
• You can write about a theory you have, you can express your deep thoughts about the cause and effect of a certain characters doings
• There’s really no limit here. Write about whatever you like!
• You may e-mail me a PDF file of your report (ask for my email), or you can write it through PM or comment! (Though there is a word limit for pms)

• First Place—

• 1,500 karma points!
• Two of the following:
  • Review – Help/correction of grammar (misspelled words & punctuation), sentence structure/weird wording, and my opinion about and/or suggestions to improve character development, plot progression, etc. (And I’ll supply you with awesome vocabulary words if you need them ‘cause I know it gets hard describing things with more than just one adjective)
  • Graphic – I’ll make you a graphic. …It’s pretty self-explanatory lol It can be for your fic, or of your otp or your bias… There’s no limit! (but forewarning, I’m still ehh with editing)
  • Trailer – This can be for your fic. Or it can simply be a fmv for your bias or otp with a song of your choice. There is also no limit here! (I’m actually confident in my video editing heehee)
  • Drabble – I’ll write you a drabble of whatever you want! Just tell me what au and/or prompt you’d like with a pairing of your choice!

• Second Place—

• 200 karma points!
• One of the following:

Contract:

If you enter, you must agree to all of the following:

• I give Squishy-Doebird permission to feature my entry(ies) in the foreword of the fic in which I’ve chosen to entered with
• I fully understand that Squishy-Doebird will properly credit me and use my entry(ies) under my permission
• I will be proud and happy even if I don’t win!
