Meosjin is very caring and puts others' well-being before his. he considers everyone else's feelings before he does something. he makes sure that his family and friends are safe and happy. everyone adores him for that. however, he thinks way too much about people who are dear to him to the point that he doesn't even solve his own problems. he also hides his pain with a smile every so often. he doesn't like worring others. therefore all of the sadness is bottled up in his heart, with nowhere else to go. deep inside, he knows that he should start being selfish even just a bit, but he'd rather wait for someone else to actually show him that they're willing to hear all about it and not judge.

Meosjin thought that this message was predictable. he simply ignored the fact that his mask would peel off someday. ever since he was young he had the habit of hiding his true feelings, so he always said that whoever sees through that smiling face and actually does something to help him is the one. this is the reason why meosjin still bottles up his emotions even when there's so many people who could be willing to listen. he's still waiting for the right person. he has to make sure that whoever 'the one' is won't change their relationship once they found out. meosjin has a slight feeling that his best friend, inah, is his soulmate because she says these words all the time to him, but mostly with a hint of joking in her voice,

first meeting & interactions. the two met when meosjin was studying in the library. inah went to grab a book in the bookshelf beside him, but she couldn't fully grab it. she tried to push the book out and it hit meosjin in the head. she rushed to him in order to apologize and take him to the clinic. he simply smiled that fake smile of his and said he was okay even when he could feel a lot of pain. later when she was walking out of the classroom she saw him holding his head and wincing while helping a teacher carry her bag. inah stubbornly pulled him to the clinic and turns out, he had a bruise. then she told meosjin for the first time that he should think of his own safety.

since then, the two started to 'coincidentally' meet in the library during lunch (but inah actually just brings him food since he usually skips lunch to study). Soon enough they became the best of friends and were always happy together. their relationship included lots of skinship, tickling and perhaps some arguments since meosjin was so stubborn and always thought of others.

They started to have mutual feelings for each other, and dated for a while. They called it quits just before college ended however, because they were going to seperate paths and didn't exactly want a long distance relationship.
