TRAINEE BACKGROUND [ ♦ ] Haewon's trainee life began three years ago, when she and her sister were scouted by Universal Music Korea on their way home from school. Originally, after being pushed repeatedly by her younger sister to decline, said no, but the manager continued to visit them at that spot each day to offer them spots as trainees. Hye Su, suffering from her anxiety badly at that time, was totally freaked out, and threatened to call the police for stalking them. Haewon shushed her and said that they would take a card if the man would stop showing up. Thankfully, he did, and is wan't until their older brother found the card that they honestly considered being trainees. Both has always been interested in music- Especially singing- but Hye Su didn't have the confidence and Haewon couldn't leave her precious baby sister behind. When Hye Su, one day after they had went out shopping for their older brother's birthday, told Hyeon she wanted to train, their lives changes. Training was harsh, but Haewon easily accepted the challenge, wanting to be the best she could be. She knew she wasn't a rapper, even though she tried repeatedly, but she knew she could improve in dancing and singing. She worked herself endlessly, to get the perfect body and to do better than the others in her trainee group. She would work herself to the bone, sleep for a few hours, and then get up to do it again. There were many teachers and trainers who admired and were surprised by Haewon's dedication to work- And her straight A's never dropped. Haewon was the golden child at home, for having great grades and working as hard, if not harder than any other trainee. She made few friends in the company, though, because many didn't like that hse didn't have time to hang out, or her overabundance of confidence.

// Above all, Haewon is a hard worker and everyone knows it. Of course, that hard work can be taken to an extreme. This girl can be found practicing over twelve, thirteen hours a day just to become better. Haewon makes sure that everything is absolutely perfect, no matter what it is that she's doing. If you don't do it perfectly, then why do it at all? is and had been her motto for year- Along with Hakuna Matata, but that's a different story entirely. Haewon never half-asses anything she does, and give her 100% all every day in every task she does. Doing this gives her a sense of pride an accomplishment, because at the end of the day, she can truthfully say she's proud of what she did today, every day. This working can be bad for her, though, as she does so much of it that wears down at her health, and she becomes sick easily. It's hard to get her to stop working, so it's hard to get her to go out, or do things that she enjoys. She's very efficient, though, and thus can complete her tasks quickly. Haewon is the kind of person who can get things done fast and well. This girl is very intelligent in many aspects. She picks things up quickly, has a great memory, gets straight A's in school- She's even got good street smarts. Haewon is just the kind of person who thinks logically, which often attributes to her cold attitude. She doesn't often let emotions get in her way, instead prefering to be analytical and cool. Haewon's pretty unsentimental, so things like old birthday cards can be thrown away, that project she was working on for months that's finally finished can be ppreciated for a few moments before being thrown to the back burner. She has an unusually low sentiment compared to others.

// Haewon tends to be very creative. Like her sister, creativity is natural to her being, and she lives and breathes creativity. It's a creativity that's unique to her. She's very helpful, and can help anyone with homework, projects, or if they just need another person to bounce ideas off of. She's very pessimistic, though, and is the kind of person who thinks, "These kind of idiots are the ones that'll screw up the world," or "Jesus, we're all screwed. We're ed, G2's over, thanks Hye Su." She doesn't find light in many situations, and simply stays in a dark pool of thoughts. Haewon tends to quicken to physical aggression quickly- And she's even quicker to anger. This girl really doesn't know when to let go, and she hits and asks questions later. It's not uncommon to find her and Hye Su fighting in the middle of the night, and she'll suddenly push her younger sister off of the bed, pull her hair, elbow her, etc. She doesn't know why- Haewon doesn't support violence, but she uses it a lot. Haewon thinks pretty highly of heself nonetheless. Seriously, she's always talking about hwo absolutely great she is, how other people aren't nearly as smart as her, and all of that junk. She's kind of like a female Jungkook, if we think about it. Haewon simply doesn't see the point in telling herself she's not good enough when she's more than good enough for any and everything.

BACKGROUND [ ♦ ] Kim Haewon was born to a somewhat poor family on January 16th, 1996. She was born to a father, mother, and older brother. Even though she was born about two weeks early there were no complications, and she was always smart from a young age. Haewon never really interacted with the other kids when she left the house, but she was really close with her older brother Soojin- That is, until her baby sister Hye Su was born. When she was brought home, Haewon was absolutely fascinated with the new little being in her house, and would never leave her alone. They grew up extremely closely, and shared a room their whole lives. Haewon and Hye Su were simply the two closest sisters you could find. When Haewon was eight, she saw a boy in her class perform in the school's talent show. She didn't expect much, if anything, but as soon as he opened his mouth and sang, Haewon knew that she wanted to sing as well. Her father had been promoted, and she was able to convince her mother to send her to singing lessons. Everything was all good and well until Hye Su began to complain that her unnie had left her and never hung out with her anymore. Haewon, at ten years old, stopped going to her lessons, and all but gave up becoming an idol- How could she, when it would hurt her sister? She left that kind of life behind her and focused on school, where she got all A's and B's. Even though she didn't make many friends. Haewon was content with her life, with good grades, a happy family, and a few close friends. There were still times that she would jealously stare at the TV screen in her room, watching rookie groups upo rookie groups have their dreams realised. Haewon felt like she had made the right decision, though- Her sister was happy, so she was happy, right? When Hye Su told her she wanted to train, though, she couldn't help the smile that lit op her face. She was so unbelievably happy, she could barely contain herself. She did find it in herself to doubt that Hye Su really wanted to do it, but with Soojin's encouragements, she found herself, just this once, not caring about her sister's true feelings and let herself be free. Training was hard but amazing, and all of her backup dancing, modeling, and CF's made her so excited. Those moments gave her hope. She, upon hearing she was going to debut, couldn't handle herseld. She was so happy, and it will always be the best moment of Haewon's life.

FAMILY [ ♦ ]

// Mother, Kim Hana ♦ 50 ♦ alive ♦ None ♦ Warm, supportive, high-strung, tired ♦ Hana and Haewon have a bit of a tiff between them, but it's nothing seriously. Hana just wishes her daughter wasn't so quick to anger, but she knows that's the way she is and tries to accept it, but teach her better. They don't often see each other as Haewon tends to leave for school or practice and not return until late at night, just before Hana goes to bed. They do like to go out and get coffee together, though.
// Father, Kim Saejin ♦ 51 ♦ alive ♦ Business man ♦ Strict, workaholic, intelligent, creative ♦ Despite their shared traits, or maybe because of them, these two have never really gotten along well. Saejin is always working, like always at work and Hana doesn't like it when he yells at Hye Su, which is a lot. She's often getting into fight with her father, mostly about Hye Su's grades and stubborness, which sounds stupid but in reality Hye Su doesn't try to defend herself when it comes to Saejin so someone has to do it.
// Older brother, Kim Soojin ♦ 24 ♦ alive ♦ College student + Department store worker ♦ Calm, easy-going, stubborn, instigative ♦ Soojin is a wonderful older brother- A teasing, instigating douche who is loving and gentle when you need him to be. Though there have been times where they've had misunderstandings, Soojin and Haewon are pretty close, and are often going out to eat together, or just chilling and playing games.

When she remembers the guilt and pain of that time, she just goes back. It's unhealthy, yes, but she's working on letting her sister learn to care for herself.

Jaehyun and Iseul were neighbors and Haewon was interesting to them, only hanging out with her sister. So, one day, the two approached Haewon and Hye Su, sat next to them, and proclaimed they were friends. Haewon found this amusing, and went along with it, and even realising Jaehyun was in her English class- Which should have been damn near impossible sicne she was in the highest math her grade could take and he was a year below her, but no matter. Since then, they've all become closer. ♦ Haewon is Iseul's rock in life. Seriously, Iseul has extremely high suicidal tendancies, and without Haewon she would have died by now. Haewon is always her go-to or every little problem, and though it wears Haewon out, she loves her best friend so much she couldn't bear to leave her alone. They're always texting and calling each other, going to anime cons, etc.

PERSONALITY [ ♦ ] Kim Jonghyun is a really gentle guy. He always takes other's feelings into consideration and tries to handle things in the nicest way possible. His actions themselves are soft, and Jonghyun can't help but be a soft-spoken person most of the time. He's also very accepting- A while back he made a post about accepting ual minorities. He doesn't care about anything that may be "wrong" with you, he accepts everyone and everything no matter what. Jonghyun is a very intuitive guy- He knows when somthing is wrong with someone, and he's almost always right when it comes to instinct. This natural ability to know things comes in handy, especially when it comes to relationships. Jonghyun is a really busy person. He has barely any time for anything besides work, much less time for friends and family. He does his radio show ever night from midnight to two in the morning, solo promotiones more recently, as well as SHINee scedules. He simply has a lot to do. He's quite stressed with all of these things to do- After all, being an idol is never easy, especially not for one tht's been going since 2008. All of these things Jonghyun can admit, but not the one thing that he hates to let anyone know- His insecurities. He's seriously not confident with his abilities, his looks since his car accident in 2013. Without SHINee, he feels like he's nothing because there's no one there to hold him up. It's something that hurts him to his core.

RELATIONSHIP [ ♦ ] Even though they haven't met yet, when they do, they grow closer quickly. They're always taking selca's together, totally skinship-y, and seriously become good friends. They're always playfully bantering about this and that, which is extremely fun to Haewon because bantering is what she does best. Even though they have a somewhat-big age difference, neither Jonghyun nor Haewon mind, and within months are even speaking informally, Haewon often dropping the "oppa" because she actually finds it useless. They're obviously crushing on each other after a while, but it's like a mutual, silent agreement- For the sake of our careers, we'll keep anything we might have on hold. The two share an interest in writing songs, so it's not uncommon for one of them to send the other a song to look over, and get the critique no one else will truly give. They interact so naturally after such a short time, it's very interesting to see the awkward sunbae-hoobae transform into best-friend-slash-love-interest to best-friend-slash-love-interest.

HISTORY [ ♦ ] Jonghyun and Haewon meet after G2's debut when they're invited onto Blue Night Radio Show. These two hit it off pretty well as Robin tends to be a very social, light-hearted and cheerful person, so this radio show helped show her stage personality. During the first break, Jonghyun was very kind and gentlemanly towards the girls, which caught Haewon's attention. He didn't seem to mind her immediate personality switch from Robin to Haewon, and in fact seemed to appreciate her ability to be so prefessional. He seemed to pay special attention to her during the show, and they exchanged numbers as sunbae-to-dongsaeng.

OTHER [ ♦ ] They should definitely be together by the end. Their ideals often match each other's, and they're really a perfect pair. If they don't get together, that's chill, I can just easily picture Jonghyun's outgoing, accepting personality with Haewon's busy, cool one.
