TRAINEE BACKGROUND [ ♦ ] There was no denying that Kim Hye Su was freaked the out when a guy kept approaching her and her older sister Haewon, trying to get them to join a "music company" that he works at- Yeah right. He's probably a looking for easy, cute targets! Damn it Haewon Unnie say no! Hye Su hated it when people tried to talk to her in general, much less an older guy with a card he wanted to give them- The card probably had a tracking device to kidnap them, and she repeatedly informed her sister of this, not wanting anything to happen. After about two weeks of him showing up, Hye Su finally screamed at him to leave them the alone or she'd call the police- And she seriously would. Haewon, annoyed with the whole situation, took the card and he stopped showing up. Finally. Haewon through the card somewhere into their room and it wasn't seen until their older brother, Soojin, found it. He said he was familiar with the company, and that they should at least check it out. Um, no. That would require actual work. Who the hell wanted to do actual work? Sure, singing, dancing, and rapping were fun- But that's what they were for. Fun. What was the point  of getting stepped all over and made fun of for some stupid idol thing? That's what she thought until she saw Haewon's expression. She wanted to do it. Badly. I'm holding her back again, aren't I? It wasn't the frist time, nor definitely the last- Haewon not doing what she wanted simply for Hye Su's sake. It took a lot on convincing herself, a lot of courage that she didn't have to finally say, "I want to become a trainee." She didn't want to- Seriously, she didn't, but for her sister's sake and for her own selfishness, she said she did. When they were accepted, she barely worked. Hye Su was satisfied with her singing, dancing, and rapping, and didn't care to improve much. She somehow kept her C's and B's in school, though she did everything half-assed, at least it was done in her teachers' minds. Haewon was able to keep her as a trainee with a lot of convincing. For Hye Su, her though process was "It's not like I'm going to make it into a group anyway. And if I do, well, every group has it's weak link." It was logic, but it worked well enough for her, clearly.

She edited the pictures to look like her, and a classmate decided to take a picture of the project and post it online. // Hye Su is undeniably anxious all the time. She's actually been diagnosed with an anxiety problem, but refuses to take medication, and instead chosing to suffer quitely, scared by everyday actions. Because of her anxiety, she's afraid to sleep- What if I don't wake up? What if there's a fire? What if everything's different when I wake up? Hye Su's too scared to talk to people half the time- What if I say something wrong? What if I make a gross expression? Out of everyone, Hye Su's the one who's most mindful about her image, and to an unhealthy extent. Have I gained too much weight? Because of that expression I made, will everyone think I'm ugly? She's been this way since she was young, always putting herself down and making herself seem like the bad guy. The reason she decided to be a trainee was so her sister could train like she wanted. In Hye Su's mind, she turned the situation into "The only reason I decided to train was because I didn't feel the need to have to feel guilty about holding Haewon back." She just makes herself a target intentionally. Hye Su is very sensitive and overemotional, so it's not hard to make her cry, or to raise her temper. She's the one who takes criticism to heart and doesn't let it go. Haewon tells her it's ridiculous, but it's how she is. Hye Su is always being brought down by mean words, but is also stupidly brought up by kind ones. Unfortunately, the mean ones are hear more often. She's a very lazy person, unfortunately, so she doesn't actively try to improve herself or her bad qualities. She doesn't really like to do anything that involves work, honestly. She'd rather sit down and ignorethat anything is going on, which is bad on so many levels. She's stubborn, especially about her laziness, so it's unrealistic to except her to change. If Hye Su doesn't want to, she won't. It's as simple as that, but many people refuse to accept this.

BACKGROUND [ ♦ ] Kim Hye Su should have had a good childhood- After all, she had a loving family, a doting older sister, and enough money to put lothes on her back and food in , but she was never happy. She was coddled as a baby by her older sister Haewon and her older brother Soojin, but this made her needy when she grew up. If one of them wasn't by her side, she was unhappy and would throw a fit. Without her siblings, she felt alone and scared, even as a young child. She was always scared of something or another, and even going to the park was hard and unenjoyable. When her sister started to take singing lessons and didn't include Hye Su, she felt as though she had been abandoned and that she wasn't loved. Hye Su was overjoyed when Haewon quit, but felt guilty at the same time. Still, she continued on in life, barely doing anythng for herself and having others do it. She would watch quietly from the other bed as Haewon stared at all of the idols on TV, knowing that she so desperately wanted to be one of them. It was around this time that Hye Su realized something quite important- She found many chicks really pretty and wouldn't say no to kissing them. She didn't mind at all, and told her family immediately- And they really couldn't care less. Well, that was kinda disappointing- I thought I'd get a huge reaction! Anyway. Hye Su ignored the guilt that had started to build, and instead immersed herself in writing. She made few friends in school, and her teachers never liked her for her poor work ethic and blunt, rude attitude. Her parents were always reprimanding her about this, but she would ignore them and as soon as they were done walk away and forget what they said entirely. She went through life like this, unhappy and lonely. Hye Su was never interested in music like Haewon, so that was always tough when she finally decided, hey, we could train, because she literally had absolutely zero interest and still doesn't have any. They may be fun at times, but nothing I want to put my life into. So when she modeled, let me assure you, she was pissed. She didn't want to actually get into working for Universal, she was just there for Haewon. Imagine her utter distaste and shock when she was actually told she was debuting. "Um, hello no," was literally the first thing she said to whoever it was that told her, which brought silence to the room. It wasn't until she saw Haewon's disappointed, resigned expression that she considered it. When her unnie opened to say she couldn't be in the new group, Hye Su immediately interrupted and said she's do it, even though she felt an immense hate at the pure thought. Since then, she's been pretty pissy and upset that she'a actually doing it.

Sometimes Hye Su is an absolute, loving cuddlebug, but for some reason, when she's with her mother, she can show her iest side which gets them into a lot of unwelcomed fights. Hana tries to be patient with Hye Su, but it gets hard. They often go out shopping for groceries together.

That still doesn't take off the bitter edge, though, and Hye Su tries to avoid all and any interaction with him.

He's calm, cool, and a total when he feels like it. Even though she gets teased a lot- Especially about her height- She lives to hear the few compliments Soojin may give, she lives for his hugs and approval. Even though Soojin moved out, she's always at his apartment, doing whatever she can to make life easier for her. They love to just sit around and watch anime.

She does feel guilty about it before she goes to bed at night, but she does it again the next day. Hye Su loves her sister to death, but doesn't udnerstand she can't use her for her whole life. It amazing, how foolish she can be.

Despite Hye Su's younger age, she's exactly like his mother which annoys him to no end, but also adores about her. Hye Su always takes care of him, no matter what, so in return he's always willing to do whatever Hye Su needs or wants him to, from buying her ice cream to getting into a fight with that who d her on the train. When you see them together, you'd immediately thing they're dating. They're always going shopping, playing vide games, making food, and just chilling together.

Areum, being the awesome Unnie she is, decided to show around the two newbies and help them out. They're always training together, doing this and that to improve and give each other advice. PERSONALITY [ ♦ ] Lee Taemin is a very patient person. As he's been an idol for years, he's learned how to hold his temper fairly well. He is also very kind, hating to hurt other's feelings. If he so much as raises his voice at someone he feels like he killed a puppy or kitty. Taemin is always giving money to the homeless, or buying toys, books, clothes, etc. for the orphanage next to his apartment. Even if he's made plans, though, if the other end drops them he adapts to the moment in an instant. He can change his whole attitude depending on where he's going and what attitude he knows he'll need to have. He can easily make himself fit into a group of people. Despite his good qualities, Taemin can get very annoyed, easily. If someone's talking for way too long, or repeating themselves, he'll flip his , seriously. He hates it when people are repetitive or monotone, and if someone speaks one bad thing about someone he cares about, there will  be hell to pay. Taemin also tends to get stubborn- Very stubborn. If he wants something, he wants it. Just give it to him. Don't argue. Not to mention his awful problem with being stressed. He can rarely calm down, it's hard for him to relax. Every little thing bugs him to no end, and the pressure of being "perfect" for his parents. He has a hard time dealing with it all due to his own faults as a person.

RELATIONSHIP [ ♦ ] These two are seriously close. After all, Hye Su has a huge crush on Taemin, and Taemin is simply waiting for her to be older. Honestly, wouldn't you be ashamed for even thinking of dating someone that young? So wait he does. Hye Su actually did admit her crush on him, which actually surprised him. Since then, things have become slightly awkward, but they're still the skinship-y, flirty fools they have been for a long time. These two are always doing something stupid, like trying to cook but burning the food, or accidentally falling into a pool while playing tag. Yup, tag. They're like total children, but even so they can totally get it on, though they chose not to. I'm not even going to lie, when Hye Su reaches the legal age, these two will have no qualms being all over each other. They're a physical couple, who uses things like holding hand, cuddling, etc. to show that they still are interested. Because of Hye Su's impending debut, these things have toned down quite a bit.

HISTORY [ ♦ ] Taemin and Hye Su met during a few SHINee fansign events. She's been a fan of SHINee since they debuted (Even though she was only ten at the time), and each time she went, she stood out. Why? Because she would greet each member as -ssi (Example: Annyeonghaseyo, Lee Taemin-ssi). Most would say oppa, or a nickname, but Hye Su found that to be disrespectful when they weren't personal friends. She always asked that they sign with with "To Jin Kyung-ssi," so that way they they were both equally formal. One day, at a fansign even in 2012, when she was fourteen, Jin Kyung this time greeted them as sunbaenim (Example: Annyeonghaseyo,Taemin sunbaenim). They were all quite confused, but followed her new wish to sign "To Jin Kyung hoobae-" except for Taemin, who definitely remembered her. This time, against her wishes, she signed "To Hye Su-ah," which made her blush and ask why he did something so strange. In return, Taemin shot the question as to say she always refered to them a -ssi, and now sunbaenim. She replied that -ssi was the term she should use as they weren't personal friends, and now that she was a Universal Music trainee, she felt like she had earned it, and in no time they would be sunbae and hoobae. Taemin was strangely happy for her, and wished her good luck. They met at many events after this, and when Hye Su was sixteen, Taemin decided that she was trustworthy enough to give her his number- Not to mention, she was kind of cute, and a really good dongsaeng.

OTHER [ ♦ ] Taemin and Hye Su are in this weird in-between kind of phase. The reason they refuse to date is because, well, Hye Su is seriously underage, and Taemin's a busy idol. By the end, they should be together, but you know, up to you.
