I rejected him three times but he still comes back

A year and a half ago, I had this friend. I don't actully know him. But I recognized this magazine mascot that I love, and he had a shirt of it

I guess he's a fan. I'm a new student at the art institute but I was crazy hyped looking at his shirt and bluntly spoke to him. Later on I realized he's my senior.

We didn't talk much. I don't get connected with his up-to-date mind about manga's and anime's stuff. He's not an otaku (comic obsessed) but he know's his stuff and he's crazy smart. He got good marks every semester.

We always talk about books and more books.

That's just my field of interest.

When we talk, I'd be the one stop and when he's not looking I'd ran off. Leaving him talking to my friends. I don't get along, I don't talk much.

At the end of my first semester. I accidently bump into him at the dining place and he ask me if he could see me afterwards. I remembered he borrowed my book. So I said yes, cause I wanted the book back.

So we met up at the dining again. But it was raining, and I was kinda in a hurry.

He handed me a piece of note. He said "could I read it for you?", I just laugh and said I could read it later in my room, but he insisted. But I was still stubborn. So he ask me to read it to him. We had an agreement.

The first line of his letter was.

"My name is 000, and I think I have a crush on you"

I stopped.

I look at him, hands shaking, face blushing.

He look at me, "I told you I was going to read it"

I was silent.

"But I know you have someone else" he said, softly, "yeh, I'm sorry"

That was his first rejection from me.

Funny thing. He never stopped.

The second rejection
