As I write this, I think to myself about everything that's happened since I clicked the "sign-up" button here on AsianFanFics in December of 2011. It's been almost four years, I've grown a lot as a person, and in that growing so much has changed. People have changed, this site has changed, I've changed. 

AFF was essentially my home away from home. I indulged in thousands of fanfics and conversations with friends, I even got a little popular on here. But... It's just not the same as it used to be, due to several influences. The different audience here, changing popularity of bands, so many updates to the site, changed priorities to my life, and it has all pointed me to the final direction of writing my final blog post here on AFF.

It's depressing, sure, but everyone grows up. I became a member in 2011, at the age of 15, and now, at age 19, I've thought about all the good times and memories I've had through this website, laugh and feel warm about it, but ultimately I've become an adult and I guess it's time to move on. There's nothing really tying me to keep logging on here any longer.

So I guess, to not stall or drag out what needs to be said any further, goodbye. I hope everyone I'm friends with has a life they love, and that they find happiness in their future. That's what I'll be working on from the time I sign off for the last time.
