Her looks deceived many people. A lot of them believed that Jimin is quiet. Indeed, she really is but get to know her, she'll make you wanna stay at her side.
She is very obedient towards her sunbaes well, but very naive and not aware that she's being fooled or pranked by them. But after it, she'll just laugh it off. Jimin is an athletic person. Her mornings were not complete with an hour workout. In fact, she's in charge of the warm-up practices of the group. Jimin might look like she's slacking off sometimes but when it comes to warm-ups and such, she's very passionate and very reliable.
She can be strict when it comes to workout sessions but she never raised her voice to them. She can be annoyed sometimes but it easily fades away. Sometimes she's the annoying one even though she's the older one, like bugging her younger brothers and bribe them some Baskin Robbins just to play videogames with her. She often takes the blame even though she's not at fault, something that she does not understand, as well, on why she's like that. She's so childish and loves to crack jokes, some are corny and some would make her co-members laugh their asses off.
She's a terrible crybaby, and cries at small things like drama-themed shows and movies. Her mood is like EXID's song, it always go up or down. It's too complicated. She's very thankful sometimes that a few people understand her well. Despite of all those things, she is good at advices yet she doesn't know about it at all since most of her advices were not really happening yet on her life. Or probably happening already but she doesn't affect her yet, nor she doesn't feel it yet. She believes that her words or advices are right, but she's so confident that she makes everyone believe that she says legit things.
She is quite a nagger. Especially when it comes to workouts. She would nag her fellow members about their performance but she made sure she won't hurt their feelings. After she nags, she will give them a tight hug. She can be irresponsible sometimes, especially when it comes to chores division. She promises to do the dishes and after that, she's not the one who's gonna clean it. She is dubbed as the lazy- member because she's irresponsible. Body-conscious Jimin comes out when she eats something (she love's eating, by the way.) and cries after she eats because she knew she'll gain weight. She can be very honest with her words, but she takes precautions. But sometimes there are words that cannot help but to spill from her lips.
That's offstage. Here is where you'll know Jimin's alter ego a.k.a her stage ego, Marionette. As a performer, Marionette is passionate, especially when she's dancing. She will definitely show her power in dancing along with her co-dance line and she does a lot of fanservices for the fan's delight. She can show her individual talent, and willing to give up her image for her comical personal talents.

One thirty in the afternoon, on October 31st of 1994, was the time a baby girl named 'Jimin Jo' was born. They lived at a two-story house in Nandaemun. Their family is part of the middle-class families there, and she is okay with it. They work together to improve their living everyday. She and her twin brothers, Youngmin and Kwangmin had always wanted to pursue to be in the lime light and perform in front of everyone. But Jimin thought it would be better if she'll do her studies first, and later on take the risk of auditioning. Months later, she suddenly got pulled by her brothers to Starship Entertainment just to be a chaperone. As she looked around, she had noticed that some of the staffs had been looking her way. She brushed off the thoughts at first, but later on, as the stares had been bothering her, she took the initiative to ask one of the staffs.
The staff said that by looking at Jimin, she had potential to be an idol. With the help of the twins, she finally agreed trying to audition. She danced in front of the judges—since dancing is her forte—and after that, she and her brothers had been accepted. She trained there for two and a half years before quitting to study. There, at Starship Entertainment, she learned a lot and had a lot of friends. Some of them had debuted as idols. Jimin became one of the special numbers to perform for her school's graduation ceremony, and was the one who choreographed the graduates' surprise danced number. Along with the graduates, she danced with them. She didn't know that one of the parents of the graduates were a scout from SM Entertainment. So after the performance, that scout immediately approached her and told her about her dancing skills.
It was all flattery, she guessed. But once the scout offered their calling card, she just blinked and involuntary nodded. That night, she told her brothers, now member of Boyfriend and the youngest, Hyunmin, about it. The three encouraged Jimin to pursue her dream, and it took her days until she finally made up her mind and give it a try. Now, she trained for about almost 5 years, and was lined up for SM Entertainment's upcoming girl group.

TRIVIA: Jimin and Hyunseong is called "The Polar Opposites" because they differ in their personality or traits but they get along pretty well.
Hyunseong is the shy-type, laid-back guy. He may be timid but this guy is warm-hearted. He would think of others first rather than himself. Hyunseong is known as the member who is 'almost perfect'. He is good at cooking and good at household chores. Hyunseong is the epitome of a man, not just because he shows his muscular physique by going shirtless, but by means of interacting with people. At first, he can be a bit shy, but as he gets to know people, he'll be showing his true side, wherein Hyunseong will be goofy and giddy. He is a camera shy before, but now, he gained confidence. He's the second oldest in the group so he acts like the mother of the younger ones. He's responsible of them and treats them like his brothers.
Hyunseong became one of Jimin's friends because of the Jo Twins. There's the time wherein Boyfriend had thrown a party for their debut success, and instantly Jimin and Hyunseong became close with each other. (Not in an intimate way, of course.) Jimin and Hyunseong were often teased by the other members of Boyfriend because some of them say that they looked good together. Jimin enjoyed cooking for Hyunseong because she can know if what she cooked was a success or fail when Hyunseong tastes it. Actually, Hyunseong had plans on courting her, but the plans were set aside when their group were bombarded by schedules and one scandal that rises between them. Jimin, the Jo Twins and him, in support of Starship's new boy-group, they both watched the showcase. Fans noticed the two's closeness, one jealous fan trends this in various sites. Soon enough, it became an issue. It led them not to meet for a long time, but Hyunseong had to do it to prevent fans hurt her and since Jimin is still a trainee, he doesn't want this to affect her chance to debut on stage. She decided to quit at Starship, to pursue her studies and to avoid another issue to rise. She started fresh at SME, good thing the trainors don't know about it. Although they don't meet, with the help of her brothers, Youngmin and Kwangmin, they still are updated with each other.
