Normallly, I wouldn't write story update/status as a blog post here because I tend to believe that having an actual story update is the best way to show my appreciation to my readers (& also, I used to have this whole story update/status thing posted on my profile...maybe I should put that up again soon =___=").  

Anyways, I'm busy with moving (& work too...thanks to my uncle), so I think it's only fair to share with my dearest readers where I stand with each of my stories at the moment. Besides updating you on the status of the story, there will some "interesting" (or okay, "lame") facts that I would like to share with you with regards to each story.  ^^

Okay, here we go (in the order of completion, and then somewhat random order...and as usual, I will not abandon any of my stories):

1) My Letter to Prince Charming - starring Lee Hyeri (Girl's Day) & OC.  Completed on October 6, 2014.  This is actually just a drabble that I wrote in less than 20 minutes immediately after being inspired by one of my lazy afternoon naps.  I actually bawled my eyes out when I was writing this...but now that I look back at this, I realize that this definitely needs some major editing (despite that it's just a drabble).  But, I really don't have the motivation to edit this...so most likely, it will just stay the way it is.  Heh.  Oh yea, this is probably my first ever attempt at angst.  Also, despite the noticeable flaws of this drabble, I really like the idea.

2) Unexpected - starring Park Chanyeol/Song Gayeon/Park Minwoo/Ahn Sojin.  Completed on December 1, 2014.  My first fanfic on AFF (definitely not my first ever fanfic though).  This is the first story ever that I've attempted to brainstorm thoroughly and tried to stick with my blueprint.  Surprisingly, I was able to update this story quite regularly and frequently too (definitely thanks to the blueprint).  However, the journey of writing this story was not all uneventful.  In fact, I have to adjust the plot a bit because Roommate was still ongoing at the time on SBS.  For example, I was initially going to write that Song Gayeon lost her debut match, but since she won...I changed the plot just to adhere with reality a bit.  The other thing was choosing between Ahn Sojin and Heo Youngji as an additional member to replace Park Bom on Roommate (haha...I was watching the Kara Project around that time too).  I'm really glad to choose Ahn Sojin in the end because I can at least pretend that she's still living her life to the fullest and happily in a parallel universe.  Also, the fact that Heo Youngji did end up as part of the second season cast could have created some blacklash for me from the fans of Roommate...so close call.  

As with most of my other fanfics here, this needs some major editing too, such as catching typos (will start doing this after I finish A Decade Later).  And honestly, I haven't been following the proper writing convention...I know it right from the start, but for some weird reasons I thought it was "cool" to create a whole new set of writing convention rules.  @____@  Seriously, I was weird and honestly, I'm too old to do silly things such as attempting to change the whole English writing system.  And yes, I'm facepalming now.

Finally, after I finished this story, I was intending to write some one-shots with regards to this story.  Hopefully, I'll eventually get to those one-shots in the future.  Actually, I could have started writing the one-shots earlier...but then that incident happened so it was a bit awkward and difficult for me to continue writing anything that has to do with this story.  However, I've finally made up my mind now to press forward.  Oh yea, a bit of a spoiler, two one-shots will be about Chanyeol/Gayeon and one will be about Minwoo/Sojin.  ^^ 

3) I Don't Care About Her/Him - starring Park Chanyeol and Song Gayeon.  Completed on May 31, 2015.  This is actually an old unfinished fanfic of mine that I've chosen to revamp with Park Chanyeol and Song Gayeon as my main characters. I admit that I did rush with the ending a bit (just a tiny, teensy bit though so readers aren't missing much) because I was honestly not exactly in the mood to write a happy romance story since I got rejected by some guy at the time.  Ha, I wish I wasn't so bitter.  If anyone's curious, the original main cast for this story are Ron Ng & Leila Tong (Hong Kong actors).  ^^"  That's why the tone of this story is a bit more on the josei side.

4) The Youth Manual - starring the TFBOYS.  My first Cpop fanfic here on AFF.  Completed on July 3, 2015.  Also my first attempt at a "shoujo-style" of writing because these boys are rather...on the young side.  ^^"  This is actually a compilation of one-shots and each story features a particular member of the TFBOYS.  Surprisingly, "Cleaning Duties" (the one with Wang Yuan in it) is the most popular amongst readers.  O___o Well, admittedly, I feel that Wang Yuan is the most "in-character" and also the main original character in this story is quite "well-crafted" (no Mary-Sueness).

5) Myosotis - A Single Day - starring Lee Kwangsoo and Son Eunseo.  Completed on July 17, 2015.  This is probably my first "crackship"...?  This is a short story that I got inspired from one of my afternoon naps (again).  ^^"  However, after writing this story, I realize that I'm quite ill-suited to write angst stories because I felt sad and depressed immediately afterwards (& needed tons of happy vibe music to cure me out of my gloominess).  Actually, I don't even like reading angst stories in general, so I don't know why I would even write one.  Also, this is probably one of my most illogical & flawed story, but also everything I've imagined it to be.  I actually love this story a lot and even read it from a reader's perspective a few times before (which is ironic, considering that I don't like reading angst in general).

6) How Enviable - starring Fang Lansheng (Ma Tianyu) and Sun Yueyan (Zhang Na).  Completed on September 19, 2015.  Wrote this drabble purely to end my dissatisfaction with the lack of development between these two characters on the Legend of Ancient Sword (the TV series).  It kinda worked since I've reduced my ranting about Fang Langsheng after I wrote this.  ^^"

7) A Decade Later - starring Sunny and Song Joongki.  Ongoing.  Only about 6 more chapters to go (more or less) and currently on my priority list.  Currently working on Chapter 11 now.  Though, it might take a while before I can upload this because I have to help out at my uncle's place for a few more days before moving (so time is really tight these days).  I'll definitely try to make Chaper 11 longer as an apology (especially since Chapter 10 seems rather short).  I didn't expect that this story would turn out to be my most popular story here up to date...since this shipping is not all that conventional and the plot is full of cliches (it was never meant to be some "great" creative work with ingenious plotting anyways...it was more for me to pass time).  ^^"  So honestly, sometimes I do "choke" when I write for this story, unlike at the beginning (when there were way less readers), because I'm afraid that the chapter might not live up to expectations...even though, I've intended this story to be quite a casual write/read at the beginning.  Of course, everytime when that happens, I'd just remind myself that I'm writing for enjoyment and not for judgement.  ^^  Honestly, this is one of my favourite stories to update (despite the fact that I don't update all that often) because a smile is always formed on my face whenever I write for this romcom.  

Oh yea, there will probably be a prequel for this story (as I meant for it to happen at the very beginning, even before I start writing this story) as well as a couple of one-shots about a few side characters.  ^^  I'm planning to finish this story...hopefully before the end of this year (or before the end of January 2016 at the latest...haha...I can already hear the groaning & see the eye-rolling from my dear readers ^^").  Finally, I'm always very thankful of my readers here, because you guys are always extremely patient with me.  *hugs*

8) An Irreversible Trade-off - starring Kim Soeun and Song Jaerim. Ongoing.  Nope, I've definitely not forgotten about this story at all.  In fact, I still have a lot of experimental ideas to put down in this story and as well, have a lot of motivation to write this.  It's just that I don't have as much time nowadays, so I have to pick and choose which of the ongoing stories I will have to update first.  I've chosen to update A Decade Later first over this story because there are only several more chapters left for that story.  So, I want to finish that first and then put this on my priority list.  After all, I'm hoping to finish all my current Kpop related fanfics first before I move on to focus on my Cpop fanfics.  For some reasons, this story has a lot of silent readers.  O___o  Anyhow, I'm just really thankful that everyone is being very patient with me and hasn't put any pressure on me to update.

Most likely, this will turn out to my longest fanfic here...probably around 35 to 50 chapters and then, there will probably be some side stories (after all, there are a lot of characters in this story, and I would like to take the time to develop most of them).  Finally, I admit that there were times when I thought of just discontinuing this story here and turn it into a real novel, but then I thought it wouldn't be a nice thing to do for the readers who actually follow this story.  Honestly, I'm still debating this from time to time. 

9) Switch! Mr. Overachiever & Mr. Underachiever - starring Li Yifeng and William Chan.  Ongoing.  A short story that will contain less than 5 chapters.  Since there aren't many Cpop fans here, I'm really under no pressure to update this. =P  So I'm just going to update this whenever I feel like it without any guilt.  ^^Y  My second attempt at writing a police/action/hot-blood story.  My first attempt is stashed somewhere on my PC and it's about some TVB actors.  XD

10) Our Third Story - starring Ma Tianyu and Zhang Na.  Ongoing.  Since there will be some sensitive topics that kiddies should keep away from, this story is rated with a trigger (so sub required).  So basically, I really don't care about readership with regards to this story (since it's Cpop, rated, & sub required - who would really read it unless they're somehow really obsessed/curious with this shipping? XD)...actually, I'm probably at the point where I don't care about readership all that much as long as I'm having fun writing.  Of course, that's not to say that I don't appreciate readers when I have them.  In fact, I appreciate all my readers (silent & non-silent alike) since it does add joy to me writing the stories.  ^^  Anyways, like my other Cpop fanfics, I'll just update this whenever.

11) The Wiseman, the Opportunist, and the Insane - starring Park Boyoung, Luhan, and Do Kyungsoo.  Ongoing/Draft Status.  Initially, I have a lot of motivation to update this until An Irreversible Trade-off came along.  I'll definitely get this out of draft status and start updating this again after I finish An Irreversible Trade-off (or at least nearing completion).  The reason I'm even putting this in draft status is because the cast (ie. Luhan & Do Kyungsoo) might attract some EXO fans to pressure me to update due to this Kpop group's insane popularity...and I don't want that kind of pressure.  ^^"  This story is about friendship & bromance more than romance.  Most likely will just have around 20 chapters.

12) The Seven Mysteries at Ultimate High - starring TFBOYS.  Ongoing.  First "official" writing collaboration with another AFF writer, LHVP_cute.  Definitely look forward to this writing collaboration.  ^^  I'll try my best to start off the first chapter soon (don't expect it to be a long chapter though).  O__O  Honestly though, this story is probably going to be updated only casually whenever either of us have time and feel like it.  The main point of this writing collaboration is to have fun and experiment around a bit.  ^^

In the future, I'll probably focus writing in the Cpop & Jpop fandoms and less on the Kpop fandom (because I'm growing out of that =/ and even if I write, I'll probably focus more on actors/actresses than idols since I'm more of a drama geek).  ^^"

Short Version of the above:  I might write at a snail-mail pace, but I will update and finish all the above stories (if applicable) eventually.  This is the only promise that I'm not hesitate to keep.  Also, thank you to all my lovely readers (silent & non-silent alike) for your continual support and patience.  You guys are just really, really, REALLY awesome!!  ^^
