appearance » Lee Kwan is easily described as one of the least androgynistic member of Marvelous. He has pale skin and a defining, fairly strong jawline that has the ladies and not-so-straight guys falling for him. His hands are fairly large, but he doesn't really mind- As he says, it makes it quite easy to give s. Kwan's body is nicely toned, and he's quite proud of his abs (He doesn't like full-on abs, only slight). His short, soft hair is naturally dark, dark brown, but he often dyes it lighter browns, reddish, pure black- He one day wants to dye it blonde.

 

style » Kwan basically wears everything- And makes it look good. Seriously, from pale denim with a black T-shirt to overalls and shorts, Kwan wears it all. He's not fashionable, per say, as he usually just grabs it out of his closet and throws it on, but whatever- He still looks either cute as , or hot as hell, so hey~ The only thing Kwan wears consistently is the ring his grandfather had said to gift him for his fifteenth birthday (He was long dead by then- Kwan was only a year old). It's a diamond ring, and for some reason Kwan feels it's right to wear it on his ring finger- After all, it was a wedding ring.

Lee Kwan is many things, but stupid isn't one of them. He's quite intelligent and has an IQ of 138, but he's not only book smart. Street smarts, common sense, he's got the best. He knows what the best course of action is a majority of the time. This is the reason he's Hisun's right hand man. Kwan is also loyal. He's like a dog, he's always on his band's side. If he betrays you he feels like the worst person in the world. Of course, him betraying you isn't likely- He's much too content where he is. This guy is also fair. When the members are fighting (And it dosen't involve him) Kwan is usually the one to break it up. He's fair when he decides punshiments, and what he does benefits eveyone in some way. Kwan isn't one to let things go unfairly. He's quite alert, and is always the first to know when something is wrong with the other members. He's almost hyperaware of his surroundings, because he always is paying attention and always knows what's going on around him. Nothing gets by this guy. He's quite sentimental, so everything he owns has some sort of emotional meaning to him- It's quite amazing, really. He's- Somewhat unfortunately- Seriously erted, and is always making ual references and jokes that make some members laugh, some groan, and some blush.

But Kwan is also very critical of people, and he's not quiet about it either. Naturally, when Kwan meets a new person he immediately judges by the cover. He openly criticizes the other trainees' skills, especially the band's. As if he'll work with a whole bunch of talentless weirdos! Kwan tells you what he thinks of you, no questions asked. He's often y, always complaining about what people do and getting irritable quickly. He often seems spiteful and mean, but really it's just because he cares. Kwan is, as he says, impatient as . Don't keep Kwan waiting, he'll chew you out. Waiting and being late make him antsy and even more moody that usual. He's quite narcissistic, and thinks he's the best at everything, even when he's not. He had confidence that's mostly based off of nothing but doesn't hesitate to shove it in your face. Kwan is highly agressive, and uses violence to solve most of his problems. He's not afraid to push you, punch you, slam you into a wall and hold you there- He simply doesn't see the problem. It's sad, though, because Kwan is tired in more ways than one. When you're around him, you can feel it, exhaustion is simply an air about him The only time he can hold these things back is when he's playing idol.

Why did you want to become an idol?

Being an idol was something that I wanted ever since Hisun introduced me to music when we were young. Ever since then, I've been obsessed with it. Dancing, singing, rapping, it's all I've ever wanted. Dancing lets me express myself in a way that words never can. Being a trainee was an absolute dream come true. Being an idol would complete everything.

background » Lee Kwan was born over twenty- three years ago as the only child in a loving family. His childhood was normal- He was never neglected nor spoiled, and he went on a lot of fun family trips. When he was five, his parents adopted a seven-year-old girl named Kyoko. She was very shy at first, but ever-sociable Kwan was there to save the day, and they became quite close, Kyoko like another mother-figure for him. They never distanced, even after their parents seperated, Kyoko with their father, and Kwan with their mother. He was very happy when a new foreign boy moved into the house next to him- Takahashi Hisun. They became quite close quickly, and Hisun ever infected Kwan with his love for music. In no time, this boy was rapping, singing, and dancing his heart out. They bonded a lot through this.

 

Kwan was quite joyful in school, though he always stuck to Hisun and Kyoko. No one really wanted to be friends with him because he was bossy, agressive, gloating all the time- He tried not to mind, though, because he had his sister and best friend, no one else mattered. He was always y from the time he was young, so really, he was doomed. Dancing was his only savior, and it was all he needed. Kwan's life was normal from then on- Until one day, six years ago, he auditioned for SM Entertainment. He actually started out as acting, but a year later he switched to being a trainee for being an idol. He loved it even more than acting, and was thrilled when Hisun started training, even if it was at another company. Kwan's parents began to fight, and split when he was fifteen. Hisun and Kwan really became close due to that, especially since his sister left to the other side of South Korea with their father while he stayed with their mother.

 

Since then, he and his father haven't spoken, but he's still seriously close to Kyoko.After two years at SM, though, he quit due to the extreme hate from his trainee company. He simply wanted to ignore all of his faults, and pretend he's perfect. He switched to Woolim Entertainment, where Hisun was training. While there, they became even closer, and made a great friend called Ringo. He was also chill with his uality his whole life, and easily told his family and friends- Surprisingly, none cared, as those who had bothered to stick with Kwan weren't going to leave him for something like that. He was wuite content with his life, but he seriously wanted something more- Debuting was like a dream. He was unbelievably happy when he was in the final lineup of Marvelous.

Even though her dishonesty was the reason for her and her husband divorcing (It's not that she cheated for anything, she simply wasn't honest about anything), Kwan doesn't hate her at all. They're pertty close, and call each other all the time. She supports her son 100%.

personality » Lee Taemin is a very patient person. As he's been an idol for years, he's learned how to hold his temper fairly well. He is also very kind, hating to hurt other's feelings. If he so much as raises his voice at someone he feels like he killed a puppy or kitty. Taemin is always giving money to the homeless, or buying toys, books, clothes, etc. for the orphanage next to his apartment. Even if he's made plans, though, if the other end drops them he adapts to the moment in an instant. He can change his whole attitude depending on where he's going and what attitude he knows he'll need to have. He can easily make himself fit into a group of people.

 

Despite his good qualities, Taemin can get very annoyed, easily. If someone's talking for way too long, or repeating themselves, he'll flip his , seriously. He hates it when people are repetitive or monotone, and if someone speaks one bad thing about someone he cares about, there will  be hell to pay. Taemin also tends to get stubborn- Very stubborn. If he wants something, he wants it. Just give it to him. Don't argue. Not to mention his awful problem with being stressed. He can rarely calm down, it's hard for him to relax. Every little thing bugs him to no end, and the pressure of being "perfect" for his parents. He has a hard time dealing with it all due to his own faults as a person.

 

History » Taemin and Kwan met five years ago when Kwan scored a modeling job with him. They were paired to be good friends in the shoot and thus Taemin's manager made some time before then to let them get to know each other. Kwan was very shy at first, because he had watched Taemin on a screen for years and there he was, right in front of him. It was very awkward as Taemin wasn't sure what to say until he spotted a manga falling out of Kwan's bag. They began to talk about it and became quite comfortable very quickly. Taemin and Kwan exchanged numbers after the shoot, and texted each other often.

 

Interactions » Kwan is really shy around Taemin. It's disgusting, really (Kwan's own words). But Taemin, he just makes his heart race and his face red and his head all dizzy! It's so unfair, seriously. On Taemin's part, he quite enjoys the "tsundere" person that Kwan is around him. He's not stupid, he knows Kwan has a crush on him (Though he only found out when Kwan called to tell him about debuting and said something that had Taemin thinking a little harder. As Taemin isn't sure if his feelings quite reach that level, so he just continues to tease the out of Kwan. A whole bunch of skinship, suggestive lines, being super cute, he loves seeing Kwan freak out. Their dynamic is the opposite of expected- Kwan acts like the dongsaeng and Taemin like the hyung.
