Italian passenger arrested for fake bomb threat

An Italian man fujian attraction faces jail after he is alleged to have called in  a bomb threat so he wouldn't miss his flight. 

According to the MailOnline, the 46-year-old passenger was running late for his flight from Turin to Rome, so he called a local police station and claimed there was a bomb on board the plane.

The man was fuzhou travel successful in delaying the Alitalia flight, but was arrested by police on arrival at the airport.

According to reports in Italian newspaper La Stampa, the accused is alleged to have called police claiming he overheard two Arabic-speaking passengers say "they had put a bomb on board."

The plane was moments away from take-off when the threat triggered the emergency at the airport. 

It was returned to the terminal where all of the passengers, and their luggage, were removed and searched. 

Police soon realised the threat was a hoax and detained the man in question.

It is the second time this year that a bomb threat has been issued due to passengers missing their flight.

In May a man was arrested by French police after claiming Wuyi Mountain there was a bomb at the Bordeaux-Mérignac airport.

It later transpired that he made the theat to delay the plane, because his girlfriend was stuck in traffic..
