I started writing fanfiction at a time when I used to read a lot. I spent all of my free time and a good chunk of my not free time gaming, watching anime, and reading.

I don't want to say this is a universal truth, but it probably is: If you don't read, you can't write. It certainly holds true for me. The best dialogue and plot progression of any of my stories were the ones I wrote in high school. At some point I stopped reading novels for fun, and my writing has definitely taken a huge hit. Not just my writing, but my language skills as a whole.

That's how I know I won't be featured anytime soon. Once I pick up a good series again, maybe I'll patch up or even improve upon my writing style. Until then, I'm just writing to share ideas :)
