Is it only me .. (I didn't think advertising would make me upset ...)

So, I won the bid for today's fic advert but I haven't received an comments or so in 6 hours! Then I see other advertised fics that get a bunch of comments and such and I am sitting here like ... Is my story so bad only because it doesn't revolve only arund or isn't a sekai or whatever very popular fic? I only wanted some encouraging words ... I love writing for this story but I don't think it makes sense to continue publish it. Maybe I will only write it for myself from now ... I really love reading comments, more than upvotes, I don't care much about them really. I only want to read what people think about my story .. Is it so hard to leave a damn single comment?

I never advertised my storys but still. I have subs and if they sub they seem to like my story...
I also always wonder why they can't simply write anything. Even if it was I hoped something more would happen or anything like that just so that I know where I stand.
But besides that, if you like writing continue and update, it may not be nice to not get a comment but there's still a chance then.
And if you write because you love it then just don't care if other take the time to comment or not

Well I never advertised on the AFF thing because I don't have a lot of KP to bid lol xDD but I do agree with @ficsystem. Why don't you just advertise on people's walls who are interested with your story? I did that too and it worked :) I love reading comments as well. If I don't get comments, I will feel down lol.

I never advertised to aff ad system so i can't relate it but a tip for you: if you are ok with adv on the users' wall, do it on the specific readers. like if it is a hunhan story, go to the hunhan fans..we can trace the readers through hunhan stories. I did it once and it worked. They gave it a try. If they enjoyed, they didnt hesitate to comment. And i agree with you. Reading comments is more exciting.

well, you've advertised in the rated m section and your fic doesn't seem like the typical rated m fic, so that's probably why not many ppl are checking it out. you're advertising to the wrong audience
and the description you wrote could have been better to catch ppl's attention

I get maybe 5 subs in total and 3 comments so it's not motivating at all

I only occasionally read advertised work - most of the time it just doesn't interest me. Therefore I never saw the point in it personally
