So, Ikon has debuted finally. I didn't like My Type, but I was waiting for the rest of the music. I thought I would get hard choreo and bops, but the half album has disappointed me so much. It somehow just wasn't the TeamB I had seen through WIN and MnM.

The styling, barring June (but let's face it, that boy has supermodel-like hauteur, he'd manage to look good wearing a gunny sack) hasn't been good. Yunhyeong is the supposed visual, why was his hair so awful? Jinhwan's hair and complexion don't match at all. And let's not talk about Chanwoo's army school haircut. Donghyuk's chin looked weird - bad contouring? Hanbin's hair...*sigh*

The basketball idea could've been executed better. The MV for Rhythm Ta turned out generic looking. Airplane was boring, and why were Yunhyeong and Chanwoo who are the actors of the group not given central roles? Isn't it enough that DoubleB is singing most of the song, that they have to take over the screentime too?!

Basically, I am going to wait for the second half of the album. And hope the shows give us some banging choreo. BTS, Seventeen, Winner all have interesting choreo, composers, and bops so I look forward to Ikon doing something different to show us their distinct colour.

I actually feel bad about Hanbin even more. I think his choices probably haven't been presented - these were not Sinoshijak or or Be I quality. Probably, YG chose more Bigbang/Korean public friendly songs from the supposed 100 songs submitted. And, maybe Hanbin feels under too much pressure, maybe his unhappiness showed through the V-app incident. I have never considered the TeamB dynamic very healthy, but now they feel more uncomfortable to me.

I mean we saw and heard mostly DoubleB with features by June (and Jinan in bits)! Push the others onward to prove themselves, or drop them - don't insult like this.

A friend mentioned that Sinoshijak and Long Time No See had Hongseok and Jinhyeong, so music could be composed which could take advantage of their more extended vocal abilities. This makes me so much sadder. I can imagine how much the songs I heard could be bettered by Jin's and Seok's presence.

And in this context, I beg OT6ers to please also support Chanwoo. I didn't want him, I wanted Jin (and/or Hongie). Yet, OT6ers, you people calculatedly chose Chanwoo. You wanted someone who doesn't overshadow your members, aka someone lacking outright talent or beauty, and you hence chose the worst option! You people decided that Ikon shouldn't come out as an improvement on TeamB! - He's a little child, please don't accuse or punish him for Ikon's problems! He may in the long run turn out to show good singing, dancing, variety skills or plain visual stan attracting qualities! What he needs now is care, love and support of all Ikonics! Please!!!

I could laugh at you OT6ers for the casual listeners/non fans complain about lack of vocals and visuals - but you decided, you made your bed by spreading lies about an innocent Jinhyeong, and booing at Hongseok in the fanmeets - how does karma taste? But, I won't. Because? From WIN days onward I love them too, and it hurts me that you awful, delulu people have led to making more antis for the boys by talking badly about other bands like Monsta.X, N.Flying, Seventeen, BTS, Vixx and also Winner. You talked about the boys having so much experience, fame, and proudly made claims on being Kpop's savior, and certain year-end award winners! And now that the other group fans and plain unimpressed casual listeners are comparing them unfavourably you start talking about them being "rookies"?! All your bluster about "warm up" single...you are why people got the opening to mock the boys on AKP, OH, Twitter, Tumblr!

Crazy fans, correct your behaviour or please leave! Don't draw more hate towards Ikon, please! The boys haven't, old fans haven't suffered so long a wait to be tarred with the 'new Exo-L' brush!

And finally, I blame YG. Ikon is not only being hated upon by SM, JYP, FNC, BigHit, Woollim, TS etc. stans but even other YG-stans are angry - and it is all because of you!!! All that "second BigBang", "drew more attention during WIN" and no Hi, 2Ne1, Winner comebacks this year. Now YG, what's the point of backtracking?! 

Also, YG, you knew Jin was the better choice! Yet, you let him be slandered, evil-edited, and gave him no favourable press or angles during MnM. Do you get now how a Jin-stan felt?!
