Boys Be Signed Album--Should I Buy It or Not?!

I'm having one of the biggest dilemmas in my life right now, seriously.

Someone I know offered me a Seventeen signed album--Boys Be album, to be exact. I was very excited when she offered me those. She said she's going to go to fansign or whatever is that, I don't really understand. Eventhough I'm not stanning Seventeen that hard, a signed album still is a precious thing and I thought it would be worth it to buy.

But my dilemma started when I asked her the price. Here's the conversation (via Line):

Me: "So, how much is the signed album?:

Her: "I'm selling it quite pricey, though..."

Me: "I just wanna know the price first, heheh."

Her: "I will sell it for nearly $80. It's pretty pricey but you can request for one member to write your name, how about that?"

My first reaction was "WHAT THE HELL WHY SO EXPENSIVE ARGHHH IT'S TOO MUCH" and then "IT'S REALLY TOO EXPENSIVE OMG I CAN'T BUY IT, I'M SAVING UP FOR MY ONE MONTH VACATION IN SOUTH KOREA" and the last one was "ARGHHH BUT I WANT IT!"

After calming myself down, I replied to her.

Me: "Oh my Gooood it's so expensive :("

Her: "It's a signed album, what do you expect? :') So do you want to order or not? You should hurry if you want to order."

Me: *while wailing and flailing my feet everywhere* "Sorry, I don't think I will purchase it. It's just too expensive for me. Sorry if I bother you, I ended up just asking whatevers."

Her: "Oh my, that's okay! ;D tell me later if you change your mind."

Me: *with clenching fist* "Ok, I will, thanks :)"

AM I STUPID? SHOULD I BUY IT? My common sense says definitely no. I have this feeling that if I bought that album, I would be really regret it. THEN I remembered that my auntie gave me a pocket money. It's $100, but my dad keep it because I'm at my apartment these days. But still my common sense is telling me that I shouldn't buy it. For my own good. For a month vacation in Seoul. Yep.

*crying at the corner because I might miss the chance of having a Wonwoo signed album* T_T

I think you should save your money for the vacation though. There are so many things you could buy or do there and if you have more money, it'll be good for you esp if you want to go Myeongdong or Dongdaemun or roaming around K-Pop Road. That's a right decision~ Good luck!

$80 no that's too much money. Who knows what could happen after you give her all that money. She could find your bank account and hack. Or worse. You made the right decision keep your money gurl.

i think you made the right decision. even tho it's a signed album, i think it's not that valuable if it was not signed right in front of you, only for you, while they smiled at you and wished you a good day~ kpoptown and mnet sells a lot of signed albums, you can try to get one there and they are quite affordable.
ps. i dont know how close you are with this girl, but she can eat her signed albums for $80, she is just trying to make money :')
