Yena is sentimental. That flower that she picked all the way back in first grade? She can't bear to get rid of it. Her very first box of pocky? Forget it ever being thrown away. Her broken race car that she hated? She'd die without it! Every little thing she owns is something dear to her- And if she forgot she had it and why, she'll make an excuse as to why she needs to keep it.

 

She is also quite the competitor. Yena simply can't stand to lose- She has to win, otherwise what happens to her pride? Winnign gives her adrenaline, it keeps her alive and makes her happy. If she looses she's despondant for days on end.

 

She's pessimistic. She doesn't see much good in the world, what with all the hate crimes, bullying, suicide and depression. She doesn't see the potential in the world, Yena simply cannot see the flip side of the coin. All of the lies in the world have twisted her- And Yena's own lies do much more harm than good. She lies about where she went, what she was doing, who she was with- This girl can't help it, lying is what she does best.

 

Yena is undiscplined and disrespectful. Her parents were much too busy to teach their children how to behave, how to enjoy things and be kind. Yena does not know how to respect adults- She treats them like equals, and yells at curses and all of that when angry. She doesn't know much how to act in public.

 

Yena is blunt. She doesn't think about the consequences of her words, or hold back when criticizing. She never holds back and tells things how she sees them. Often, that leads to her causing argument. To be honest, she thrives off of tension sometimes. Causing fights and arguing are something she's quite good at.

 

background jUNG Cherche Yena was born on a cold, windy Halloween twenty years ago in Seoul, South Korea. She wasn't the only baby born at the time- She was ten minutes older than her twin brother, happily taking place as the oldest child in the family. The twin's parents adored them, spoiled them, but after a few years they were left to a nanny with no attention from their parents. Never were they taught how to treat others, how to share or how to behave as their nanny simply enjoyed the expensive house.

 

Despite that, Yena was loves by her early teachers and classmates. She was cute and did well in school growing up, so a lot of the time she was the teacher's pet. And who didn't want to be friends with the girl who could buy them all the things they wanted? She was popular, and there were some people who just liked her for her- Yena wasn't all money, she was caring and supportive.

 

Once Yena and her brother hit middle school, everything went downhill. Almost immiediately Woojin drifted to the druggies and gansters, getting sent to the principle's office, getting suspended- And she wasn't immune to these habits either. Unable to help herself, she started to follow her younger brother- Drink until you out, snort whatever was there- She didn't care, it was fun.

 

Or, until her brother got liver poisining. Yena stepped away from the drugs, from the bad friends, she didn't want it anymore. It was terrifying that she almost lost her brother. Did he die? No. But would there have been no way to save him? None at all. Even still, Yena continued to drink. Never more than a beer ever one to two weeks, but she couldn't find it in herself to stop.

 

Ever.

 

Time passed and high school came. Yena was mostly clean, but of course such a person like her would continue to make mistakes. First year she got a boyfriend. He was in his second year, and, to her, perfect. His name was Jae, he treated her like a princess, and he had even more money than her. She slept with him repeatedly, but a year or so later she found out from her friends that he was planning to break up with her, so she did the worst thing she could have.

 

Yena purposefully got pregnant to keep him around. She was pregnant with a girl, and Jae did keep around. He loved children- He couldn't abandon his own.  Reluctantly he continued the relationship, and Yena was satisfied. Finally, she had someone she could call her own. Her pregnancy went fiarly okay until the beginning of her third trimester, were Yena went into labor early.

 

She gave birth to a very premature baby she named Jung Hyeon. The baby died three days later due to heart complications. Jae, unable to bear looking at Yena, left, and once again Yena found herself "alone." She continued on in life with a pessimistic, unhappy view.

 

Ice cream, she will die without it. Don't you dare eat hers or she'll eat you. After making you go and buy her more ice cream.

 

Teddy Bears! So! Cute! She has so many, they're inumerable. If she doesn't have one with her, she can't sleep. Wherever Eren goes, Yena has one.

 

Babies, let her take care of all of them. Despite her youn g age, Yena is great with children and everyone she knows would sooner trust her with a newborn than with a highly experienced babysitter. She adores them, they adore her.

 

To The Beautiful you, it's her favorite drama. She may or may not watch at least one clip/scene/episode a day.

Yanking off split ends of her hair when nervous, you'll actually see her inspecting her hair and then suddenly yanking. THen you see (If you're lucky) a miniscule piece of hair float to the ground.

 

Being a total brat when she's defensive, she really can't help it. She'll say all the wrong things.

 

Color coding her socks when sad, it helps her calm down.

 

Horseback riding, she loves the feeling of speed, the wind blowing through her hair, etc.

 

Sewing, she loves to make baby blankets and clothes. She actually made Lee Taemin's favorite sweater as a birthday gift.

 

Yoga, it calsm her. But she doesn't do it oten any longer.

 

She's left handed. She's tried to train herself to use her right, but it's hopeless.

 

She curses. A lot.

 

She calls Taemin whenever she's stressed or having a breakdown, and he'll listen to her rant, scream, and cry for hours on end, just assuring her that it's okay. It really is.

 

Yena's ideal type is someone with a strong presence, and has really, erally great hair (She loves hair). She wants someone who looks more manly, and has great shoulders/back. That's her main thing about a person.

Despite their arge , Yena is a mother for Brigitte.  As their father left the family for another just after Brigitte was born, life was hard for the baby. her mother was working, her older brother was always either high, frunk, or not around. personality Lee Taemin is a very patient person. As an idol, he knows that not everyone gets things at the same pace, and therefore must give them time. If he so much as raises his voice at someone he feels like he killed a puppy or kitty. Taemin is always giving money to the homeless, or buying toys, books, clothes, etc.

first meeting & interactions Taemin and Yena met during a short collaboration with JYP and SM. They did a modeling shoot, and SM picked three of their male idols while JYP picked three female trainees. All six people did a high school romance-best-friends photoshoot, and thus they met. They became pretty close, even going to far as to requesting a duet from their companies.

 

Now Taemin and Yena are super close friends. They hang out all the time (In secret, of course), and tease each other more than not. what was your first impression of xeno media? Xeno Media was my first company! I was shocked and amazed that I was there. Everyone was really nice an welcoming. I really thought I would make it big there, I was certain as soon as I saw the building and met everyone. It was a dream come true!

 

what are your thoughts on jayden yang? Hm...I really like him. He honestly is a kind person. The accident with Mayday shouldn't be blamed on him. Tell me, honestly, how many of people have drank and then drove? He's not the only one. He's very nice to me and is always checking up on me to make sure I'm doing well. He always knows what to say and do to cheer me up.

 

how well do you know the members of mayday? I know all of them pretty well! All of my sunbae's treat me well, even if I'm awful to them. I know everything about them, from their favorite fruit to what way they'd like to die. We're rally close, all of us, but the one I'm closest to is Leroy. He always took care of me more than the rest, always made me feel special and like I was a great dongsaeng- Though I know I wasn't. Even still he treats me like a princess. But I raelly love all of them. They let me call them oppa.

 

were you part of xeno when mayday's accident occurred? I was, for a year before. In that time, I became close with everyone, despite how young I was. The accident was terrible. I cried for hours after I heard. They wouldn't even let me visit them...It's not fair. They should still be going strong. No one's dreams should die like that. It's not fair. The world is not nice, it's awful and cruel. Good people don't have a place in it. After the accident, I couldn't handle being in Xeno. Seeing the place where Jaewook and I would dance together,

 

if you had a choice, would you prefer to debut under another company? Truthfully? I probably would. Xeno has a bad rep, that's already damage to my career. I love everyone there, but my chances of success are much higher if I debut with a bigger, cleaner company. I'm here for success, to be famous. Not to make friends. I love them all. Xeno is a better family for me. But I want to be known. I need to make a good name for myself.

 

do you see yourself as a member of eren? why? I do. Why wouldn't I? I've trained for years, I have talent, even my face is pretty good. I think that Eren really needs my dancing- I mean, really, the rest of them aren't great at dancing. And my singing it pretty above average, as well. I really believe that Eren is a place I belong.

 

what is your relationship with the female trainees in xeno? I get alng with everyone pretty well. I mean, we're all working hard to get our dreams be reality. So I'm pretty close with everyone. Sure, many people don't like me, but, well, not everyone can be liked.

 

lastly, what will you do if you debut under eren? I will work hard and make sure we're successful. I won't stop working to make us a top group. We'll be the stars of the Hallyu Wave, everyone will know us. Eren will become a household name.
