Glimpses into my Life (Part I)

Somebody requested that I share some pictures of my college life, and while I won’t be revealing what school I go to, I decided to snap some shots when I went on a hike with my roommate this morning!

She had to wake me up by poking me in the arm and yelling, “Get up you need your Instagram picture!

Anyway, this was at the bottom, and those rocks jutting out of the mountain are our destination. (They don’t look that big, but I promise, the camera just doesn’t do it justice; they’re massive.)

A little ways up the trail… (ignore the couple taking a break haha I wanted to capture the scenery in the background.)

A bit of a better look at the mountain. Apologies for the blurriness of any of these pictures, because I was exhausted and the dining hall hadn’t opened yet so I was operating on an empty stomach lol

A bit further along…

That peak is our destination.

That patch of reddish-colored roof tiles down there is my school campus :)

[Brief intermission of photos during which I tried not to die of dehydration and fatigue]

My roommate was in cross country, and she had no problem getting to the top and back down with no water, while I just downed my entire bottle by the halfway point oh my gosh

Aaaaaannnnnndddddd we made it to the top! (Yes, that is me. I’m probably deleting this once I finally come to the realization that I’ve revealed a photo of my backside me for the entire creepy internet to see.)

Not pictured: a tiny little chipmunk that came scurrying towards my roommate and me while we were sitting on this rock.
It literally just came and nearly crawled up our legs, sniffed us out for what I assume to be food, and then disappeared haha
Sorry I didn't bring any snacks for ya, poor guy!
He also disappeared before I could get a picture :(

If you want more pictures, let me know :) I have no problem with busting out my phone to pull a tacky tourist move and snapping pictures of things on my school campus lol the buildings are all modern redbrick and red tiles, and I’m a er for redbrick structures. Only other campuses I saw that were prettier than mine (in my opinion) were Stanford and Princeton.

They said that people who often wander into the nature are more balanced mentally and physically. I'm not that lucky to go out and venture the earth so I'm very happy when others share his/her story through pictures.
