So like, I never post blogs, but since I've been gaining more friends who are my readers and exo stans, I think this is an appropriate place to say this lol

Sooooo I've been working on this fic since 2014 and it's only on chapter 8 and I tend to write it only when I'm at school. It won't be posted for another couple years bc I want it to be perfect. It's very precious to me, other than Truth's Little Hero and its sequel. AW DUDE I JUST CHANGED THE CHANNEL TO AMC AND THERE'S THIS KOREAN MOVIE ON AND BROOOOO THIS GUY IS SOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE. THIS OTHER GUY JUST RUTHLESSLY KILLED SOMEONE AND I'M OMFG. I'm sorry I got side tracked bc it's 2 in the morning and I'm looking for something to watch while I type and oh my goodness this guy was just so very handsome and I needed to express that.

Anyways, this fic I've been working on is very special to me because it's just one big reflection of my life. I write it when I'm homesick and it gets me through the year. I planned on writing so much of it over last summer, but then I was home and didn't feel the need to XD so I wrote a summer themed fic, Urinal, thanks to Bubbs loool

ANYWAYS. THE POINT OF THIS BLOG.

I just watched Tao's theatrical version of CROWN or whatever, and as I'm watching it I'm just like "Dude we are literally on the same page." Because the beach thing will become a thing eventually in this fic, and then the scene where he's fighting off those ninja guys in that hall is sooooo similar to this one scene I got going on, I was just like "brrroooooooooo"

The fic I've got going on has Tao as my main character, and Taoris as the main pairing. And basically is high fantasy and Kris is this dragon prince and he brings Tao and the rest of the crew to his palace, to meet his mom. And Tao was like indoctrinated into the crew and he needed to show Kris's mom (the Dragon Queen) his skills and why he was so special. So then he demonstrates in the throne room while beating up a bunch of guards his wushu and stuff. I was literally just blown away bc the similarities.

But yeah when the fic eventually gets posted I just wanted to make it clear that there was no similarity to Tao's music video lol 

And the fic won't be posted for like a couple years bc I like to write it when I'm at school, and I've got three years left, really (including this one) I can already tell it's going to be super long bc I've come up with so many things for it, but the problem is that I don't have much of the plot figured out and if I can just take time to lay it all out I think I can start writing it and just go non-stop. I've been writing sooooo much lately. Like I wanna get as much done while I'm still in my drive. 

I don't like to post things in advance about what I'm going to do bc that usually means it'll never get done, but I know I'll get this done. Because it's so important to me.

What the story's about:

OT12- I know, I know, most people are like "bruh, come on. That’s getting old." but I promise you it's not like the typical everyone gets a boyf. I think I’m gonna keep most relationships platonic. But there will be implied baekyeol, I'm still so very on the fence if I want them to be a thing or not. Hunhan’s definitely a thing, along with kaisoo. Xiuchen are sooo a thing, but there will be plenty of xiuhan moments and other pairings that are mostly platonic. Setao will be pretty platonic (and one sided lol) BUT. yes.

Idk if most of you know but I'm a super hardcore lotr fan (and Skyrim and Oblivion and Elder Scrolls Online fan lol). And basically the high fantasy in this is based off of it. With Elves and dwarves and separation of other species. One of the members is a fairy and I'M NOT SAYING WHO. heheheheheh

Also a mama!au. But I really like to think I went out of the box with this??? Like idk I've read a couple mama!au's and they just always seem similar?? But idk. Like similar themes are involved where like exo are the only people with these powers, and are the saviors or something but idkkkkkk... You know what never mind, now that I think about it, it's totally just like every other mama!au ever. Where they protect the tree and stuff and it's just. Ugh.

Anyways basically it's about a boy, Tao, who moves from China after a year being abroad in South Korea moves to the U.S. And then he learns he hates his life and ends up falling into a porthole in his new backyard and ends up in this world that no one has ever seen before. This is the high fantasy world. I don't want to give its name away and I really don't want to give too much information out but basically, Tao gets to this world and has fun with the people he's met, aka exo. And then after a month or so of just hanging out and learning about people he starts going on adventures. Each member will have an adventure and their own backstory with Tao. But each adventure will have a reason why it happened. And will tie into the main plot, eventually. So thAT's going to take up most of the story until the real plot.

There's going to be a lot of secrets and stuff and other cameos. Like B.A.P members, SHINee members, definitely DBSK (hahahaha I love what I did with them.) and probably other groups that I don't know who yet. And other OC characters.

I’ve developed the full stories to some of the characters, and still need to develop more or all of others. There’s so much I have to do lol.

However, no one but Baekhyun and Tao will have normal names. They will all start off with names I've created to fit the world, but the k-pop stars will eventually have nicknames bc they'll be the most relevant characters worth having nicknames. Hahaha, you'll see eventually. 

I've actually made fanart of Chanyeol, and Kyungsoo and slowly making my way to the rest in the same style as Chanyeol and Kyungsoo. But then I'll probably draw more realistic things, with their actual hairstyles and outfits and such. And then I'll most likely draw the castles and various settings bc they're always on my mind and I want visiual representations. At some point it'll get there, but idk when lol.

I'm currently rereading it (while writing Truth's Little Hero sequel) but bc I've been so homesick I plan on writing it and planning it out more. Once I have time tho. Once my job as prop master is over and staying until 11 at night at rehearsals will be over, I'll spend all my nights alone at the student center writing~

The whole point of this post was to just clarify that any similarities between the time I started it and the time I post it are completely coincidental lol. Then I got off on a rant of it lol

But yeah, if you wanna know more just ask me! This fic is very special to me bc it's based on a life that I really want of my own. Especially since Tao's home in america is based off my own.

TLDR: I have a fic I’m writing that I started in 2014 and any similarities you see in anything of Tao’s is purely coincidental.
