It appears that if Taeyeon doesn't like the song, the song will do incredibly well.  On 'Kim Shin Young's Noon Song of Hope' on September 3, Girls' Generation appeared and talked about their latest track, "Lion Heart."

Tiffany and Taeyeon were revealed to be two of the members who had been against the song, yet it had gone on to do incredibly well on the charts.  Taeyeon said, "I feel like the songs that I don't really like do well," mentioning "Gee."  She was then asked which songs she did like, and she replied, "I don't like any of them," making everyone laugh. That might be why they're all successes.

She also talked about being at the center for the opening of "Lion Heart." DJ Kim Shin Young told her, "When you first come out in 'Lion Heart,' you really look like a goddess. Wasn't being in the center burdensome?"

She replied, "At first, I felt incredibly burdened.  I thought that no matter what, I would try to go ahead with it.  It was a relief that the members covered me from the sides."
