The Idols Sister- What the hypocrititcal people in the hip-hop scene address Jaehwa as. Just because she is an idols sister doesn't mean that she can't be a true hip-hop artist, she normally gives them, unless they are her seniors, her perfectly manicured middle finger as a sign of how much she doesn't care.
Jae= She is called this by all her friends, co-workers but her brother Kai was the first person to call her this.

HOW THEY GOT INTO THE UNDERGROUND SCENE: Jaehwa had an easy time compared to other underground artists breaking into the scene. She actually got approached by a company who offered her deal as they had heard about her from EXO L fans, and had heard that she was a complex rapper. This company, Amoeba Records, didn't have a successful female rapper in there company so they were quick to offer Jaehwa a deal as she seemed to have talent and some sort of popularity. EXO L's knew that she could rap as she released some songs online on broadcasting sites. At first Jaehwa was going to decline the offer as she didn't think that they wanted her for her talent, but instead that they wanted her as she had a fanbase...sort of. However, she did end up accepting the deal and moved out to Seoul. Jaehwa got offered a deal in 2011 and debuted in 2013 after 2 years of being a trainee. Though work wise Jaehwa had a good trainee experiance she couldn't stand a large majourity of the other trainee's as they all made rude remarks about her being an idols sister. Either that or the pesky girls who liked EXO harrased her. This is where she developed her attitude and started not caring about her actions, but obviously she does a bit more now as her and her brother have reputations, but was always respecful and got on well with her seniors/debuted artists. Coaches and Producers liked her and thought she was unique. Jaehwa debuted as the first female solo rapper in the company.
