ssenunni- Joining the rap scene at a young age Hyejin was ridiculed against, mainly for her idol appearence and trainee past. After being called out by Zion T for her "good looks, good style, nothing but SM idol. Rap scene? Yahh, with that face she's preaching by the bible", Hyejin spoke up against Zion T despite not being too known at the time. The confrontation went viral and Hyejin is known as ssenunni due to the incident.

Korean: Fluent: She lived in Korea for a large part of her life and this has been her speaking language since birth, hence why she is fluent.
English: Intermediate: Due to some of her family lliving in New Jersey, learning English was something they definately wanted her to do. She is an intermediate level (high) as she has been tutored in the language since she was able to understand, around about 4 years old. 
Japanese: Starter: She only knows the occasional greeting, questions and of course some phrases that she uses in rap. To confuse others she uses Japanese in her raps alongside some English. Mainly Korean though. She learnt Japanese during her trainee days before she left.

HOW THEY GOT INTO THE UNDERGROUND SCENE: She was a trainee in SM but got kicked out of her contract due to breaching it. She was influenced by her friends at 17 years old to join them in clubs and rap battles where her friends often competed. She started to rap there and ended up making a name for herself, but not till around the age of 19 was she actually recognised. Hyejin posted some mixtapes alongside singing videos on her soundcloud gaining attention from global talents and scouts. It wasn't until SM kicked her out, due to a fellow trainee mentioning it to staff, that she realized she wanted to do rap instead of being an idol anyways. 

HOW LONG HAVE THEY BEEN IN THE UNDERGROUND SCENE: She started to visit underground at 17 but started to introduce herself as a serious rap artist till 19. So generally, she has been there for 5 years but as a professional artist only 3.

APPEARANCE: Hyejin has a tattoo inside on her bottom lip. It reads "KISS". She has this simply because she liked it. It appeared in her Instagram feed and she immediately went to the artist and got it in simple black ink, but its starting to fade slightly now as she got it at 19. She also has a tattoo under her s on the right side, reading "DESIRE, PURSUE, GAIN". She wants to get matching tattoo's with her best friend Jessi but they haven't decided what yet. 

STYLE: Hyejin doesn't have a set style, she simply follows the trends but has some basic things that she always wears. Particularly on stage, she wears cropped, black, bold statement pieces which have grunge vibes (1, 2, 3). Whereas when just hanging around the house or going out she still is a trendsetter but sticks to more understated outfits consisiting of bomber jackets, cropped jeans, heavy accesories (1,2,3). Her style always changes but this is a slight insight into what she wears.
