not one of the normal kids on the block, bomi was known for her manipulative and competitive side. the student council member who came from a well-off family who learned the ways of her parents. the pressured and manipulated daughter of the ahn's. bomi is one competitive girl, who wanted to do nothing but to be the best student and student council member. as a student, bomi's the responsible, hardworking one. she is ambitious and competitive and would like to be the winner - she is achievement orientated and second place is not good enough for her. with her it is all or nothing. she is always in a hurry, wanting to do everything right now. patience is not one of her strong points. she does not procrastinate - she never put off until tomorrow what she can do today. she have a strong need for power and control which is connected to her basic survival instincts. she can be somewhat of a know-it-all, not wanting to appear unintelligent or ignorant. she may appear intimidating to even her closest colleagues and friends, with an authoritarian, demanding and dictatorial attitude. 

 

despite her intimidating demeanor, bomi is quite the softie when it comes to the closest persons to her. the thoughtful,generous and and helpful one to be exact, bomi is not the type who have a lot of friends but she's the girl who chooses the friends whom she knows would be the one who could complete her dull life. the girl who always checks on her friends and would gladly help them whatever help they might need. despite her manipulative and intimidating side, bomi's someone the students could ask for help. she once gladly helped the dance society and concert band for their performances and made sure they had the best venue they could have.  one very optimistic girl, nothing could bring her down, she always thinks that everything happens for a reason and that her hard work would always pay off. 

 

background –

born on a summer day, bomi was a bouncing baby girl. a very cheerful and energetic one to be exact. born in a well-off family, an heir to an electronics company, daughter of one of south korea's senators and a younger sister of a hospital director. her parents most likely met during their college time, they had their first child after graduating from college.

when her brother was 2 years old, her parents married each other and had her when her older sister was already 12 years old. she was allowed to study in one of the most prestigious schools in seoul, while having her special training for taekwondo, archery and sharp shooting.

she was one of the most popular students in school, first for being rich, second for being pretty, third for being smart and fourth for being influential. she was one of the most friendly girls at school, she got a lot of friends and hang out a lot with them. but when she got #2 in one of the exams, she was started to be manipulated by her parents and pressured her to become the best student. that is when she had became competitive and spent less time with her friends. she was also able to choose only a few friends. she was always voted as the school's student council member and she's now aiming to become a student council president, maybe politics really runs in her blood. she grew less fond of her parents and became distant to them, the only one who understands her were her sister and brother. she was able to develop this what they call Double Bbom. the one who is uptight in front of her parents and the one who is outgoing when she is with her friends.

life as a student in yusang – 

bomi was more than just a student council member, she was also on the same level as queenkas. popular, rich, influential, smart and of course, pretty. life in yusang was not easy for her, even though she's manipulative, it was not easy for her to control the students of yusang, even if a lot of people like her, a lot of people also dislike her but they chose to do nothing but obey her. being on the top of their grade, it took her sleepless nights to improve in social studies.

how did you get to know the clique, and why did you decide to join? 

she was schoolmates with wonwoo and mingyu in middle school. she's a member of the student council with lee seokmin. she was always with seokmin and the other members of the student council but she's closest with the guy since he's one of the most responsible and they are in the same class. seokmin decided to ask her to join the clique, since she is also close to min seulgi whom she treats as her younger sister. since she's really close with a lot members she agreed.

 

yes. she's actually the independent type of girl and chooses to ask whenever somewhere is unfamiliar. she's also the type that could easily remember directions and signages.

 

jeon wonwoo - he's a schoolmate since middle school and is friends with him ever since
kim mingyu - he is her ex boyfriend but they are in good terms when they broke up and are still best friends until now.

min seulgi - she's like bomi's younger sister. when bomi first met her, she immediately felt that she needs to protect the younger one.

 

taz, since taz is notorious for being short tempered and impatient. she sees herself in him for being impatient and manipulative.

current relationship – more than friends

first meeting – as a student council member and a queenka, it would be easy for bomi's name to be widespread around the campus. she was also good friends with seokmin who is a member of the choir, she once watched their practice and saw junhui. she found the guy really cute and asked seokmin to introduce him to her. it was the first time seokmin saw a bashful and crushing bomi, except for the time when she was still in  a relationship with mingyu. junhui was shy to meet her in person even though he knows her. they were really awkward with each other but she tried to carry the conversation that became longer and made seokmin decide to leave the two. 

interactions – junhui's the guy who likes skinships and such. he's comfortable around her and would just hug her, kiss her on the cheeks whenever he wants. luckily, it's okay with bomi too, since she's just waiting for him to confess to her. junhui's one of the few guys that bomi could not get angry at. they go out and eat together. they would also be seen together during lunch. junhui sometimes offers to take bomi hope after her meetings and volleyball practices.

future relationship – they would start dating for real but it will be bomi who would confess.

other comments & suggestions – 

the reason why bomi has the english name lizzy was because when she had the chance to go abroad, san francisco in particular, she met this family friend who asked her if she already have an english name, bomi shook her head. it was quite sometime when bomi was about to go back to korea when that family friend told her that "lizzy" quite fits her personality as lizzy is associated with being matured, honorable and noble. it took bomi quite sometime to finally realize it somewhat fits her, especially that she came from a family where everyone are high officials.
