Im transgender....or rather becoming..lol

Hello guys... This blog post is actually a serious one. I have taken time out of my entire year and decided of something I have been wanting. I want to change my gender!! Now some people really don't understand why anyone would do this, and if thats you, leave a comment with your question! :) I'm free to answer any about my ual preference my gender etc. I have decided to become male due to believing that is the gender I should have been born as. Not because I dislike females. I would just feel better as male. What I mean by all of this?

Well I mean that I will change my wardrobe and hair to start, as I get older I will get hormones and such to help me change. I know that people who are transgender seem to get...well..bashed. Literally. Bashed out of the restrooms. But I think that for now i'll use the ladies, considering I can't stand and piss quite yet.. xD I appreciate you all.... ~ Uploading

If it ever happens , and it probably will, that someone will say or do something that hurts you simply, just for being the way you are, remember that those people are not right about you and don't know you. I used to think they just had a lot of hate in their hearts but my mother says I'm wrong and that really they're just incredibly fearful. This is why they can't deal with change and the uncertainty it brings. So remember that, because no matter what some stupid person might in the future say is wrong with you the only real difference is you have so much more courage than them.

So we've never met, but I was looking on the blog section and saw this. I know that the trans community still face a lot of discrimination, and although it probably wont mean a whole lot coming from a stranger, I just wanted to say that you have my full support, and I think it's wonderful and so brave to be open about it. It's very sad and says a lot about society that people look down on others simply because of a matter as inconsequential as gender, but it's people who stand up and be who they really are that changes that, that educate bigots and brings hope and a better future to others experiencing the same things as they are.

All I can say is keep on being who you are, keep your head up and remember what a fantastic impact you will be having on helping others also come to terms with being transgender and accepting themselves just by accepting yourself. I hope things go well for you, and I wish you the best of luck. ^_^

Good for you for being so open about this! Congratulations on having this realization at such an early age too! Sometimes it takes people a lifetime to finally come to terms with this kind of thing, so I sincerely applaud you and wish the best for you during transition (:
