MY HYPER JAPAN EXPERIENCE @ THE O2 - X JAPAN & LOST ASH

My muscles ache all over my body, but it was worth it. I've had the time of my life yesterday at Hyper Japan and I've never been so happy before in my life. I have so much to tell you, but I'll try to keep my fangirl presentation to a minimum.

Althought the event was slightly unorganised and all of the main performances at the Hyper Live Stage in Building Six was constantly late starting, I forgave them... Cause well, Yoshiki apologised for being late and well, how can I resist his voice?

Anyway, from the top of my head I can remember that Yoshiki & Toshi from X JAPAN performaned Endless Rain and Art of Life. There was a couple of other songs, but so much was going on through my head, I can't really remember the names. They even sang a song that was going to be a part of their new album which is being released next year. A fan threw an alpacasso plushie on the stage at Yoshiki and Toshi picked it up and placed it on the piano. As Yoshiki played the piano the plushie fell and they stopped playing and burst into laughter. Yoshiki was like "It was Aplaca's fault... Oh my god, what will happen at Wembley. I'll bring alpaca to Wembley" Yes, they announced a few days before that X JAPAN would be performing in London next year alongside the world premier of their XJAPAN FILM.

Here's a few of the photos of Yoshiki x Toshi that I took.

Oh and there was an X JAPAN booth, where Yoshiki's crystal drum kit was on display and the booth was selling a bunch of their merchandise and tickets for their concert next year. Too bad for me, my parents refused to get tickets. But I did buy myself a poster and a key chain.

I met one of my favourite visual kei rock bands at a meet & greet, LOST ASH. And... Holy . They are gorgeous in real life. My friend who went to Hyper Japan with me, said they looked exactly like anime characters. They were really kind and they shook my hand as they said hi and nice to meet you. I panicked and forgot what I was doing and the drummer, Dye had to remind me that he needed to sign my poster, by saying "Sign, sign." Haha... How embarassing. I also got a photo taken with them. From left to right the members are, drummer Dye, vocalist Daiki (my bias), guitarist Show and bassist Sai.

And later that night, I went to see LOST ASH's performance! Me and my friend got in a bit early and stood in the third row of people for their performance and recorded pretty much the whole event and took a ton of photos. Dye was really funny before the performance started, while LOST ASH was setting up the equipment Dye would constantly pose for the cameras and moon walk across the stage. Sai was on the opposite side of the stage so I couldn't get that many nice photos of him, which is a shame since he's absoloutly adorable. Show was camera perfect, he always looked good on camera always posing. He even waved, smiled and nodded his head in my direction, hehe I think he realised that me and my friend was trying to video the performance. Daiki tried so hard to speak English is was really cute and funny. I can remember him saying "Sorry. It's really... difficult. I can't speak English, but... I'm English teacher. Repeat after me." etc. he even said "Wow, your English is really good." Making everyone laugh, since we were in England. Anyway, here's a few LOST ASH photos I took.
