I AM INLOVE WITH MALAYSIA ♡

Hello everyone!

I know, this post may be long overdue but I had a lot to finish when I came back from the trip and only got a tiny bit of free time today. So, what's there to say about my trip? A LOT.

I am inlove with Malaysia

So, to tell you about the trip... here I go;

We arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 a little past 5:00 PM with the sun still shining. I gotta say, I was thoroughly impressed with the architecture not just the airport's physical appearance but the flow inside aswell. Thankfully, they didn't lose my luggage and it was a really smooth plane ride from Manila to KL. Kudos to the awesome pilots!

Anyway, we met with our tour guides and since we were a group of 50 or so, we were split into two busses which meant one guide each since there were also two. Our tour guide was named Chen, like it was literally spelled like that! HAHAHA, she wasn't a guy though. From KLIA2, we drove straight to our hotel which was at Alpha Genesis --from the airport I think it was an hour ride? or maybe 45 minutes, I didn't keep track but yeah we arrived there before 7 o'clock and checked in before going out for dinner.

For dinner, we went to Jalan Alor (as recommended by Chen)

The food street was just a few walks from our hotel and we spent the night  eating to our heart's content since the dinner for that evening wasn't covered  in the tour package... I think we spent over RM100? We practically tried  everything there is to try, I don't know how many street food stands we  stopped by at but I do remember ending the  night with a cold bottle of Carlsberg before going back to the hotel. I didn't try Durian tho, we have plenty of it in the  Philippines too and my whole  family loves it besides me :(

I tried Dragon's Fruit tho... it was awesome :D

The next day, we woke up at 7 o'clock and it was still dark out which brings me to a question: what time do classes start here? HAHAHA, in the Philippines we usually hold classes at 7:30 and we're expected to arrive thirty minutes before.

After breakfast, we checked out of the hotel and moved on to Melaka! Malaka? Melekka? Malacca? There are various spellings D: eherm, so we took the three hour trip there and you guuuuuys, can I cry? OH MAH GAD, I KENNOT TAKE IT WITH THE LANDSCAPES, WHY CAN'T WE HAVE THOSE? I WAS SO JEALOUS!

Arriving at Melaka (I'll stick with this spelling), we got off the bus at Heroes' Square (Am I right? Please correct me if I'm wrong) then took a walk to the Sultan's Museum and can I just spazz how much I loved the structure and the elements because it's so ideal for the place and it's just so perfect :') also, all the artifacts it housed were quite a big bonus, it was a trip down history lane and it was an awesome trip indeed. After that, we climbed up the hill where the ruins of Port de Santiago lied and also, an awesome view of Melaka ♡

Brought RM100 worth of souveniers for the people at home then we went to lunch at a local restaurant and afterwards, we took on the 400-meter challenge of Jonker Street but not before stopping at San Shu Gong which held a lot of Malaysian goodies ♡ then we shopped 'til we dropped and you guys were not kidding at all when you said the weather is HOT. But, we went on for the sake of shopping and also because the bus was at the end of the street so we had no choice really HAHAHAHA. But you guys, the shopping part was definitely my favorite! Prices were cheap, I bought a new bag, some tees and a lot of trinkets! I was supposed to buy a pair of shoes at the mall because it just screamed at me to be bought but I had to restrain myself --curse my classmates for making me believe there must be something cheaper! It was RM50! I should've bought it /forever regretting/

Moving on, we eventually reached the end of Jonker street and boarded the bus to go the hotel at Wana Riverside. Dinner was fun, our table was full of laughter and I got to try out Coca Cola Vanilla HAHAHA, I thought it was going to be white! But seriously guys, RM4 is pretty expensive for a can of soda.

When we returned to the hotel, we rested for a bit then went out around 8PM to wander around. We were mainly looking  for shoes tho, we wanted to take a cab so we could go back to the mall but decided to just wander around and maybe  find some other places to buy one from. We didn't though, so we just decided to buy some drinks then spend the rest of  the night playing pool and drinking at the hotel.

The next day, we woke up at 6 AM and left the hotel by 7AM to go to LEGOLAND!

I spent the whole two and half-hour trip sleeping because we went to bed at around 2 in the morning?

We arrived at LEGOLAND at around 10 AM? HAHAHA, there weren't much people yet so we pretty much had the place to ourselves for awhile and ofcourse, since it was a 1 DAY COMBO Ticket, I had the power to ride EVERYTHIIIING... and I mean EVERYTHING. First ride: Project X, have any of you been to LEGOLAND? It's like the first coaster you get to see in the whole park and yeah, we rode that first... it's wasn't that bad... (LOLJK, I'M NOT A BIG COASTER FAN AND I CUSSED LIKE... THE WHOLE RIDE)  Basically, you're taken up, up and away then thrown down unexpectedly and that's it. HAHAHAHAHA, I think I cried but no, I'm not that big of a baby. Second ride: Dragon Numbah 1, a little upgrade... yep, I still cussed the whole ride followed by saying sorry... so basically, it was "OF ! SORRY FOR CUSSING! SH*T!"; Third Ride: Dragom Numbah 2as scary as it can get I guess but then there's this whole idea that sprung up that said "Hey guys, let's not show any emotion the whole ride" and yeah, I tried... I succeeded? but you can see the emotion in my eyes HAHAHAHA, I almost died. We didn't get to ride that Log thing in Adventureland? /sad/ because an emergency came up and we had to get our friend to the First Aid center because his blood pressure shot up and we basically skipped lunch and decided to spend the rest of the hours at the Waterpark which was DA BEST THING EVAAAAAAR!

At the Waterpark? We rode everything... yup, every. single. one.

Seriously though, it was tiring going up and down, maybe when I come an elevator would be available AHAHAHA because I really do plan on coming back and riding that Log thing.

We left Legoland at 5:00 PM and went straight to dinner at some seafood restaurant that gave us a great view of Singapore. I played nurse too, my roommate got sick so she needed some extra TLC and because she's like one of my closest friends, ofcourse I'd take care of her :)

The next day, we returned to Kuala Lumpur.

We went on a city tour, we were supposed to walk but since the heat was blazing... /how about no/ we took the bus HAHAHAA :) we went to the National King's Palace and learned about the political system. Oh and by the way, the Palace was breathtaking and again... you guys make me so jealous of your landscape :<

Oh and that's me, striking some pretty weird poses but nobody seemed to care :)

and ninjaing around KL because I wanted to. I wore a mask the whole because I was feeling sick, my nose was acting up. Anyway, we also visited the chocolate factory and it was such a happy place :')

The chocolate was expensive tho, so I only bought a few... around 3 boxes? After the chocolate factory, we went to the iconic Petronas Tower. I left my wallet in the bus so I wasn't able to buy anything /creys because there were discounts/ I wanted to buy my mom a present from Louis Vuitton since the day of our return was her birthday but given that the bus was pretty far and it was pretty hot to go back and forth, I decided to just... breathe in and breathe out.

We had lunch at a nearby restaurant then went back to Alpha Genesis to check in again; the rest of the day was our free time so I spent it wandering around. I specifically remember looking for a coffee shop then ended up going around the same block because I was pretty much alone that time. I entered a shop that was selling clothes and bags and stuff, I got a bit weirded out though and a little confused because there were these three girls that entered and one of them kept staring at me, as if familiarizing. She looked like she wanted to say something then she seemed like she remembered and smiled, like really big, at me so I grinned back /I was confused though/

But anyway, whoever you are, if you are reading this, if you are from AFF, Hello HAHAHA, sorry that time because I was just really confused and began to grow conscious when you began to speak to your friends and they stared at me (TuT) I wish you could've said something though, I had a book with me that time and would've given it to you.

Moving on, I left the shop after that; I was going to stay long but then my peers began calling ym phone asking my whereabouts and told me that dinner was soon, so I went back. We had dinner at a Chinese Restaurant and the sweet and sour chicken was to die for. After dinner, my friends and I took the MRT to go to China Town and wandered there until 8PM before deciding to shop around the malls.

On the way back, while riding the MRT, I sat beside a girl that was on her phone at the time, she was scrolling through and through and that familiar blue page of AFF came across my eyes /sorry for looking T.T;/ so, I thought maybe she was a user then lalalala ~ the ride went on, when it came to our stop I got up from my seat then heard this very faint voice saying my username in question, like "skittsebony?" and I looked at the same girl and got surprised ofcourse because I really thought it was impossible to meet someone there. She got off the same stop so we had a really quick chat, I didn't get her full name though but Ana! thank you for saying Hi, even though it was really quick and I apologize because I forgot to give you a hard copy :'( if you read this, PM me and maybe we might just get something to work out. Also, to Niena! I'm still checking on the rates, hehehe :)

KL is a shopping haven, other than the cheap prices, the items are also great buys. We went to H&M, Farenheit, to that other mall that I forgot the name of but it was really awesome because I got to buy new kicks ♡

We got back to the hotel past 12, then decided to go out for some drinks before finally caving in at 3 in the morning to sleep until 10 because we had to leave for the airport at 12. We also got to meet Architect Wooi Lok Kuang :)

To summarize this all, I'm very much in love with Malaysia. The architecture, the food, the atmosphere, the good vibes especially during night time. I really would want to go back someday! It's definitely on my to-do list, but as for now it's back to the architecture world. Thanks for all the memories and lessons, Malaysia ♡

P.S.

I promised myself, I wouldn't spend all my Ringgits... I spent all 600 of them TuT and my mom almost killed me. ohwell, it's not like it's everyday that I get to go to Malaysia :) it was mostly spent on food.

You really are Truly Aisa ♡
