FASHION STYLE ☆  Aysa was a princess, yes but she the way she acted was definitely a contrast towards the title. For starters, she hated wearing all the fancy dresses and sparkly jewelry. For another, she was more tomboy like than an actual girly-girl. Being a member of the royal family, Aysa is always dressed in branded clothing and expensive acessories and jewelry - during formal events, that is. Truthfully, Aysa is nothing like all those other 'stereotypical' princesses. For one thing, she absolutely hated wearing big fancy ball gowns and glittery tiaras.

Aysa vastly prefers comfort over style, choosing to dress in sweatshirts, t-shirts, jeans, leggings, varsity jackets and other aricles of clothing that would suit the average teenager instead of a princess living in a palace. But, this princess didn't give a shot about what other people think and continued dressing in her comfortable/baggy clothing instead of the fancy stuff.

When she entered the Selection however, Aysa realised that if she wanted to remain in the Selection long enough, she would have to dress in fancy clothing, no matter what. Yes, she did wear the ball gowns that were pretty much mandatory to the Selected but her style was much more simpler than the others. When others dress to impress, she dressed down to avoid attention - as her way of both obeying and rebelling her father. She would technically be following her father's orders at the same time rebelling against the ridiculous notion that is the Selection.

APPEARANCE ☆  Aysa is not as strikingly beautiful as her sister or other princesses, she knew but she did have her own style of attractiveness. She was quite short - 158cm and she wasn't rail thin like most girls - 50 kg. And she doesn't possess the natural Korean beauty but she did have a well proportioned face and chubby cheeks that her friends couldn't help but to pinch every time they saw her. Her eyes were slightly narrower than the average big-eyed Korean girl but she usually uses eyeliner to make them more defined. Her favorite hairstyle was either letting her hair down and framing her face or tying her fringe up. She rarely wears any makeup except for face powder and a little bit of lip gloss - but since she was assigned stylists during the Selection, she had no choice but let herself get caked with a ton of makeup.

THE REAL ME

Sailor+Moon+Crystal+1.gif

PERSONALITY ☆

“I’m not antisocial, I just dislike being around people.”

Aysa is a somewhat shy, quiet, reserved and serious person to most - making her seem like an ice princess sometimes. The main reason why she likes to keep to herself is because she was always used to being alone back home. She had no close friends before and her parents are always busy so spends most of her time by herself. Aysa likes it when she has company but she prefers solitude and being let to her own thoughts because it has been her way of life for a long time and old habits die hard.

Aysa is generally very quiet and is very composed. She doesn't really talk much and prefers to keep to her own solitude than hang out with the rest of the Selected. This made her an outcast among the vivacious Selected (more of an outcast really - the other girls didn't think it was fair that a princess would compete in a competition like this since princes were supposed to marry commoners). She didn't mind it at first since she was used to being alone but soon, she became jealous when she saw the other girls pairing up and making friends when she, because of her icy personaliy, was generally sidelined..Though, sometimes, the remains of her former personality can be seen through the cracks in the cold front that she built as her image.

“Books are my life. They’re my only escape out of the harsh reality that is my life.”

Aysa is also a very avid reader. She could spend her entire day lost in the world of her books, leaving everything behind. She sometimes gets too absorbed in the story that she doesn't even notice when someone is calling her. That’s how focused she was. It didn’t matter what kind of book she was reading. Romance, science-fiction, fantasy…. She loved them all and would spend her entire day in the library or the bookstore, reading her day away.

Aysa took her job as a student more seriously then her job as a princess. She prefers to spend most of her time in the library (or anywhere that has books). Sometimes, she gets way too into the novel that she doesn't realize that someone us calling her untill they used physical contact (like patting her shoulder) to awake her from her trance. She also loves books because they made the best ammo to throw at obnoxious princes when they annoy her. Haha.

Aysa gets pretty peeved when the other girls are being loud when she is trying to read and often tells them off for doing so, embarrassing them in the process. Lately, she’s become quite taken with the world of fan fiction and is surprised by how talented the writers and impressed by the way they managed to think of the plotline for their stories. She especially likes the ones about Kpop idols, impressed at how these people had placed her idols in such outrageous yet ultimately sweet stories. She, herself, aspires to be a writer someday.

“I thought that ‘imagination is more important than learning’?”

Aysa also has a very active imagination, which helps her immensely as she also loves to write. Give her a random title or scenario, and she can twist it around in her head to form an awesome story. Aysa will also occasionally write lyrics for songs that she made up herself.

Unfortunately, her creative thinking also means that she has a short attention span. She daydreams or falls asleep during meetings, long speeches, and sometimes, when people are talking to her which usually annoys them. She easily gets bored and will use sleep to escape such boredom. She even fell asleep on the stage once during an interview with the rest of the Selected (Mari and the other girls had to shake her awake before anyone noticed).

“The girls are everything to me. I couldn’t ask for better sisters to go through all this with me.”

Aysa is also a very caring and loyal person. She loves the girls like her own sisters and would never allow anything bad to happen to them. She always defends her them from haters and sasaengs, either up front or online. Whenever one of her friends is sick, she would be the one to take care of them and even sleep beside their bed to make sure that they were okay. She’s also the one who often treats the girls whenever they wanted food, and whenever she DOES go out for dinner or shopping etc., she would also buy stuff for them.

Aysa really appreciates the love she received from her friends as she misses having a sister and secretly really wants to reconcile with Saera. But unfortunately, both her and Saera's prides and egos are keeping them from mending their sister bond again. Both girls swore to defeat each other no matter what.

“I don’t believe that I’m pretty or when someone compliments me about my looks. Why? Because looks can only get you so far in life. And these so-called ‘friends’ of yours will just ditch you once something newer and hotter comes up.”

Aysa is a very insecure person. She’s not confident of her own looks because; let’s face it, who would look at her compared to her sister? – or so she thinks. This is due to the fact that she had been shunned and put to the side ever since her sister was born. She doesn’t believe it when someone tells her that she is beautiful or pretty because in her opinion, these people would just leave her the second something better comes their way. Plus, she was used to people using her to get an inside at the palace which really hurt her.

This is also one of the main factors of her ice-queen personality. She closed up her heart a long time ago and build walls around them to guard her heart from being broken. So far, the only people that she let see her true personality – the true Aysa who’s been hiding all this while – are her fellow group members, her family and her close friends.

BACKGROUND ☆

Kim Aysa was born to Kim Hyun-Sook (the King's eldest cousin) and his wife, the lady In-Hye on 7th October 1997 in Cheongdamdong and was casted into the 1st Caste, as she is a member of the royal family. As long as she can remember, Aysa had been trained and taught to be the perfect princess from the time she was able to walk. Etiquette lesson, riding lessons, language lessons, political lessons, ballet lessons… You name it! All intended to make her a perfect member of the royal family.

Her family was appalled when they realized that she wasn’t what they originally expected her to be. Aysa had been a demure and quite child ever since she was young and didn’t seem to respond to her lessons well. Some of her instructors even thought she was mute at some point, which greatly annoyed and embarrassed her parents immensely.

Her parents’ prayers for another child were answered when they had a 2nd daughter when Aysa was 4. They swore not to let their youngest daughter turn out like their other child and kept her away from her elder sister, as though Aysa was a disease. This saddened her immensely as they made her feel as though she was unwanted around the palace of Cheongdamdong. This is the main cause of her rift with her sister.

Ever since her parents turned their attention, Aysa was pretty much left alone and abandoned by them. She never saw any of them often and would spend most of her days either alone or with her lesson and instructors. However, she soon found love and comfort within the palace staff who felt sorry for the elder princess and decided to dedicate themselves to raising her. They were the ones who coaxed the shy princess out of her shell, and though she lacked love coming from her biological family, her new adoptive family showered her with all the love and affection that she needed to have a happy childhood.

True to their traditions, the Duke and Duchess wanted to send Aysa to the Bangtan Royal Academy to start her elementary education but she rebelled and chose to attend a public elementary school instead, shocking both her parents immensely. They wanted to punish her for her act of defiance but her governess, Ms. Jung stepped in to defend her. After a heated debate and argument, her father gave in and allowed her to attend public school, stating that his useless daughter's education wasn't that important anyway. That brought tears to the young Aysa's eyes and Governess Jung took the little girl away to her study room, while shooting disapproving looks at the arrogant Duke

When Aysa started at Big Hit Elementary, she began to regret her choice as the other students kept teasing and taunting her for being so shy and quiet. Honoring her request, the headmaster kept her identity as princess quiet from the teachers and students so that she could lead a normal life but that totally backfired. The palace staff were heartbroken to see their little princess returning home in tears. The Duchess was also worried about her daughter but the Duke told her to ignore it, citing that the insolent little girl needed to learn her lesson and face the consequences for defying him.

At first, Princess Aysa tolerated with all the bullying and the teasing because she wanted to put up a strong front. Some of the bodyguards offered to stand by in her in class to scare the bullies away but Aysa told them she could handle it and dealed with the abuse all alone. But on one fateful day, that all changed. One of the bullies decided that it was fun to break her drawing supplies and watch her cry. When little Aysa came back to class and saw her colored pencils and notebooks completely ruined, something snapped inside her.

Those drawing supplies were birthday gifts from the palace staff who all saved and pitched in to buy her the luxurious drawing set that she had wanted since she was 3. She remembered how hard they all worked and how much they all loved her. Her palace family had always stressed on the importance of standing up for herself. Unfortunately, she took it the wrong way and ended getting into a verbal and physical fight with the bullies to the point where the teacher's had to break them apart

No one dared to bully nor approach her after that incident, not even the older sunbaes. It was partly because the timid, quiet little Aysa had completely changed into a full-on monster during the fight... But it was mostly because bodyguards in black (who usually guarded outside of the school, hidden from sight) rushed into the room soon after the teachers broke them apart to rescue the princess and held the bullies in custody. The children were scared as when the overprotective bodyguards actually threatened to take the case up with the police for harassing a member of the royal family but Aysa managed to convince them to let it go.

But it was too late by then. Her identity had already been revealed and no one wod even go within a 4-foot radius of her except for the teachers. She thought that she'd be miserable and alone forever until the day she met Ahn Yeona.

The crazy, happy go lucky girl who newly moved from Daegu was the first person to step up and befriend her during elementary school and they've bern beat friends ever since. Mingyu, on the other hand, she met when the Duke became the foster parent/guardian for his sister's son after her death. She still rememberd how forlorn he looked and swore to put a smile on his face. The older boy got annoyed easily by his young cousin's constant pestering but soon grew to love the little girl whom he considered a little sister.

The three of them remained best friends up till today, when all of them are attending high school. 'The Three Musketeers', as everyone called them, made plans to go on a road trip this summer - just the three of them, all over Bangtan and Korea. But then Aysa received the fateful phone call, telling her to come home that very instant - which made the other two worried.

Aysa's distant father, Duke Kim, had an important thing to discuss with her and then proceeded to tell her about the Selection. Aysa widened her eyes in horror at the thought and quickly rejected and refused her father's proposal. The Duke was not pleased at all.

"Abbamama, are you crazy?" Aysa shouted, pulling her hair in frustration. "This is my future we're talking about! I don't want to marry some stranger!"

The Duke stood up, red faced with anger, to face his daughter... and slapped her with all his might. Aysa fell to the ground, her hand clenching her now-red cheek in shock. Even the guards at the door of her father's study seemed startled by his action.

"A-Abbamama..." She stuttered

"Now, you listen to me child. I will NOT tolerate your bravado or your foolishness any longer." Hyun-Sook snarled. "Normally, I would never send you on such an imperative mission but since Saera is too young to participate - that blasted age limit - you will be participating in it, is that clear?"

Aysa didn't know what to say so she remained silent.

The Duke took this as a sign of rebellion and pulled out his final playing card. "If you do not this..." He drew it out. "Then you can say goodbye to that brat cousin of yours. I'm sending that bastard nephew of mine back where he belongs - the streets of the 8th caste!"

"What? No!" Aysa cried out loud. "Not Mingyu! Anyone but Mingyu! He's gone through so much. Please... Don't do this father..." She sobbed, pleading at her father's feet.

Hyun-Sook didn't say anything. He merely grinned at the mess his daughter had become. "So, I assume this is a yes?" He asked, his eyes glinting with wicked excitement.

"I'll... I'll do whatever you ask!" She choked out in between sobs. "J-Just don't hurt Mingyu..."

"Excellent..."

FAMILY ☆

tumblr_n8yphhk4Sz1rufh5do3_500.giftumblr_m8qtj7icBy1r3ttobo1_500.gif

Father, Kim Hyun-Sook  48  Duke of Cheongdamdong  Strict, hot tempered, religious, ruthless, cutthroat, stubborn.  Kim Hyun-Sook was not a man to be contended with. Ever since Aysa was young, he had always told Aysa about how it was their family who should be the monarchs of Bangtan and trained her to be ruthless and cuthroat like he was. However, the demure Aysa very much preferred to read and write in her room then attend political and public speaking lessons that Hyun-Sook gave up on making her his heir. He then turned his attention to Sae-Ra who shows many of the traits that he actually wanted in his heir, ignoring Aysa completely. That is until the Selection rolled along and Saera was too young to participate so the Duke pulled a few strings to get Aysa in, threatening her with the removal of his nephew, Mingyu in return for her compliance.

Mother, Kim In-Hye 43  Duchess of Cheongdamdong  Loving, caring, beautiful, spoiler, stubborn Lady In Hye is a kind and caring woman and Aysa loves her very much, though she sometimes wish that her mom would stop spoiling Saera that much since it's not good for her. In Hye is also very stubborn. Whenever she and her husband fight, she will refuse to apologize and he has to make the first move first. She disagrees with the way her husband treats her eldest child and is often angry with him for being so stubborn but is left helpless and unable to do anything because her forbids her from bringing that issue up.FC : Choi Ji Woo

Sister, Kim Sae-Ra  13  Princess/Student  Vivacious, pretty, spoiled, diva-like, talented  Saera is what most girls dreamed to be. She was beautiful, talented and had a bright future in front of her. She seems to be nice to everyone except for her sister, whom she treaetd with no respect at all. She considers her sister her main rival in anything. The two had many issued between one another, though Aysa and Saera finally reconciled a year before her sister married Jin and was even one of the bridesmaids at the wedding. — Cousin, Kim Mingyu  18  Student : 1st Caste, but originally 8th Caste warm, funny, troublemaker, softie  Mingyu, in short, was Aysa's soulmate. Hands down. There was no one like him anywhere else on earth, in her opinion. Though they're cousins, Mingyu acted more like an oppa and older brother and he seemed to be the only one in her family who understood and cared for her. Mingyu is highly protective over Aysa and completely rejected the idea of her participating in the Selection but she insisted on doing so, not telling him the reason why though so it made him suspicious that it must have something to do with himself.

FRIENDS ☆

tumblr_n8yphhk4Sz1rufh5do3_500.giftumblr_m8qtj7icBy1r3ttobo1_500.gif

Best Friend, Ahn Yeo Na  18  Student/Part-time Flower Shop worker : 3rd Caste Responsible, motherly, funny, outgoing, childish Ahn Yeona had recently moved from Daegu to Bangtan after her dad had a job transfer. On her first day, she already made a lot of new friends for her fun personality but she couldn't help but to wonder about the other little girl who sat by herself at the end the classroom. She was determined to make friends and sat at the lonely girl (Aysa)'s table and introuduced herself, shocking the entire population of Big Hit Elementary, including Aysa herself. Ahn Yeona was hands down the best friend any girl could ever have. Though she came from the 3rd caste, she very much prefers the simple lives of those in the lower castes - as shown by her part time job as a cashier at the florist (the same workplace as Woo Sena consecutively) . She and Aysa have been best friends ever since she moved to Bangtan from Daegu in elementary school. She was the first person to look beyond Aysa's ice cold appearance and befriended her. If Mingyu was Aysa's soulmate, then Yeona was her other half - they couldn't live without each other! Yeona also signed up for the Selection but failed to get in, though she screamed in excitement and delight when she found out Aysa got in and did a spontaneous victory dance in the middle of the flower shop. Aysa facepalmed at that and tried to keep her distance, not wanting anyone to associate her with the crazy girl XD. FC : Sana (Twice)

Close Friend, Choi Mari  20  Pastry chef/Medical Student  Silent,Timid,Modest,Laid-Back,Progressive,Benevolent,Soft-hearted,Undecided,Easy-going  They first met at the palace during the Selection, when Aysa dropped by the kitchen to get a snack in the middle of the night. Mari was in the kitchen, secretly baking bread when Aysa caught her in the act. Instead of turning her in or reporting her, Aysa sat down next to Mari and started helping, confessing that she's too hungry to think about anything but food. Mari smiled at her and shared her homemade bread with the younger girl.  They have a somewhat unnie-dongsaeng relationship, though the roles seemed to be reversed in terms of age where Aysa seemed to be the older one and Mari, the younger sister. Aysa felt a connection to Mari because Mari reminded her of Mingyu, both were innocent and kind souls who were left to deal with the cruel, harsh reality of the real world. She becomes quite overprotective over Mari, as she would e about Mingyu, and swore to protect her unnie no matter what.

— My Sisters, Final Seven  Varied Depends on characters  Crazy; Depends on characters They all met during the Selection at Bangtan Palace.  These seven girls are people who Aysa would consider as her sisters. They were the first to greet and befriend her, despite her 'ice cold persona' as the other girls called it. Though a few of them had misunderstandings between them at first, but they eventually got closer and closer as the Selection went on. It was surprising when they all became the Final Seven who would be married to their prince. These crazy gals are the one who gave her the nickname 'Warm Princes' to show everyone how they were wing about judging Aysa earlier.

OTHERS ☆

tumblr_n8yphhk4Sz1rufh5do3_500.giftumblr_m8qtj7icBy1r3ttobo1_500.gif

Rival, Shim Sora  19  Model  Vivacious, charismatic, dazzling, seductive, two-faced, persuasive  Sora and Aysa first met on their first day at the palace. Sora was a very friendly girl in the beginning and linked arms with Aysa as soon as she realized that they were going to be neighbours (their rooms were next to each other) throughout the entire Selection. Sora, who had came hours earlier, decided to show Aysa around while the younger girl didn't say that she was already used to the palace and knew where everything was in fear of losing her new vriends.  Sora and Aysa have been enemies and rivals since the first time they laid eyes on each other. Well, not really. Sora was actually a decent friend in the beginning and was actually kind to Aysa for the first few days. Sora showed her around (though Aysa was quite familiar with the palace but she didn't tell Soa that because she didn't want to offend her new friend. That is  until Sora did a complete 360 and started isolating her. Sora was the instigator of the whole 'Ice Princess' business, spreading rumours that Aysa was a stuck up and how she 'looked down' on everyone. Everyone hated Aysa after that and secretly wished to see her sent back hoe. Aysa never forgave Sora but she couldn't help but to admit that she was heartbroken was one of the first friends that she made here. Well, at least she thought Sora was her friend. After Aysa and Jin's falling out, Sora crawled her way into Jin's heart and became a close friend of his which often irritated Aysa since Seokjin treated Sora like a princess while he treated Aysa like dirt. Reason for joining the selection ☆  The reason Aysa was thrown into the whole Selection fiasco in the first place was because of her father. The Kims were royalty, but were very distantly related with the current monarch family. Despite being already of the 1st Caste, Kim Hyun-Sook - the King's eldest cousin - was not satisfied with his place in the royal family. Hyung-Sook feels as though that the King had stolen to crown from him since he did not inherit the throne even though he was the eldest grandchild.

Hyun-Sook knew that he had to secure his place in the royal family untill he could come up with a plan to usurp the throne from those delinquent princess. And what better way to secure his ties to the monarchy then by having one of his own on the throne?

Hyun-Sook originally wanted to send his youngest daughter, Sae-Ra, in for the Selection as she was such a voluptuous and charming creature, even at such a young age but unfortunately, she was a few years too young o join the Selection, leaving him with no choice but to send his rebellious eldest daughter instead, who was 18 at the time - which was an ideal age for the future princess.

To ensure Aysa's agreement, Hyun-Sook used the person Aysa loved most in the world - her cousin and adoptive brother, Mingyu. Hyun-Sook threatened to cast Mingyu away to join his treacherous family in the 8th caste for tehri treason towards the hrone.

Aysa had no other choice to protect her other half reluctantly agreed to joining the Selection but contrary to her father's beliefs, had no intention on actively participating or winning the heart of any of the princes.

Interview:

-coughs- Ehem. Well, as you can see that I am CLEARLY joining the Selection to strengthen the ties within the kingdom of Bangtan. -fiddles with hands- We're a relatively new country so unity between the royal families within Bangtan has to be strengthened because... because... Actually, can you move to the left a bit? Thank you. -reads the cue cards behind the interviewer's head- Because pureblood marriages are the best way to go when it comes to strengthening the bonds between the royal family. -narrows eyes- Wait, what? I mean, uh... -stutters- It's because... Um.... I guess it's because we - me and the princes - have more in common since we've known each other. And because we have the same lifestyle so it's easier to adapt? Yeah, sure let's go with that.

-pulls hair- Ohmigod ohmigod ohmigod! Who writes this ? What the heck am I saying?!! GET MET OUT OF HERE!

life as a selection candidate   ☆  Aysa was raised in a palace her whole life so she wasn't really culture-shocked by the whole 'royal life' situation but she couldn't deny that the sight of the palace of Bangtan really took her breath away. The palace in Bangtan was way bigger and more luxurious then her tiny castle in the district Cheongdamdong. She immediately became entranced by the palace's sheer beauty and architecture but her favorite room in the entire castle was the one of the palace's secluded library located in the south-east wing - which quickly became her hideaway spot if she wanted some alone to herself.

Her life at the palace was pretty eventful in some ways, and pretty bland in others. The palace staff and the other Selected knew of her royal status (despite being only distantly related) and gave her a wide berth instead. For some reason, no one really treated her like she could be a threat. Maybe it was because she wasn't as pretty as the high-prized Selected. Plus, she preferred to spend her time alone in the Women's room and the mini-library than trying to win the hearts of the 7 princes.

The only girls  that she was friendly with was her best friend Ahn Yeo Na and the rest of the final seven, though somehow, she gravitated more towards Mari. It was mainly because Mari reminded her of Mingyu. They were both innocent, young souls who had to suffer through the hardships of the world just because of their birth. This is also the main reason why she hated the caste system in the first place - the way it limits people's lives just because they weren't born into it.

Aysa has 3 maids like the rest of the Selected: Sekyung, In-Hwa and Yoon-jo. Sekyung was a maid of hers that she had brought from home while In-Hwa and Yoon-jo were maids that were entasked to serve her by the palace staff. She had a close relationship with Sekyung since they were very familiar with each other ever since she was little. She was okay with Yoon-jo but had a bad relationship with In-Hwa. Hwang In-hwa was the daughter of the defense minister's personal assistant. The Defense Minister despised her presence in the palace as, he sees her as a threat to the king and the royal family. In-hwa, out of loyalty towards the man whom she considered her family's savior, acted as a spy for the Defense Minister who made a point in remanding her for her mistakes in front of the royal family and informing the princes about her 'suspicious activities' - leading her to roll her eyes at his extreme paranioa.

Like the other Selection candidates, Aysa is nothing but professional and cordial towards the royal family, knowing that they could cut off her head in a split second if she offended or disobyed them in some way... Okay, that was a joke. The King and Queen would never decapitate anyone just for kicks but hey, it doesn't hurt to be careful, right?

But when it came to the princes, it was a whole other matter. They were very familliar with their distant cousin since they've seen her around the palace during formal occasions but she had always been distant so they were shocked to find out that she entered the Selection. Even after she entered the Selection, not much has changed between her relationship with the princes. She was still quite distant with the princes, preferring not to interact with them until they got bored and kicked her out of the Selection.

But things changed when she met Prince Taehyung who depsite his odd side, was very sweet. They had their first encounter during the Selection during one of the events. Aysa, as usual, did not want to actively participate so she decided to sneak away from the event to sepnd time in the library. Since the event was at one of the palace's gardens and there were guards at almost every exit, the only way to escape inconspicuosly was by climbing one of the palace garden walls - and so she did but got the surprise of her life when she noticed a male figure on the other side of the wall.

Turns out the eccentric Prince Taehyung was getting bored of the whole palace scene and decided to escape as well. But he was also stunned to see a Selected girl climb over the wall after him. He was impressed by her actions and decided to bring her along on one of his adventures. At first, she was against following him since a) he was a prince and b) she was  wearing a freaking ball gown for god's sake! If anything happened, ther dress would make it hard for her to run.

Prince Taehyung carefully analyzed the situation for a while before picking up a stone from the ground and cutting the tulle of her skirt from the knee down. Now she could run easier. He was such a genius! Yay! And then he promptly took her hand and ran towards the woods behind the palace where there was a secret road which led to the town that he discovered a few years back. Aysa was still a bit hesitant joining him but she decided to take a leap of faith for once and just went with the flow.

Her relationship with Prince Yoongi on the other hand was one that could be described as love-hate. Yoongi the lazy prince often frequented the quiet library as his secret napping spot when he wanted to sleep and avoid being found by his father and his brothers.

Aysa who was a frequent library visitor first encountered him a week into the Selction when arrived at the library and found Prince Yoongi sleeping in the corner in dark clothing (he was trying to disguise himself). Thinking that he was some sort of intruder, she grabbed an encyclopedia and started hitting him with it. Well that gave the lazy prince a rude awakening. She would've continued pulping him to death if he hadn't removed his hood to show his identity, just in time.

He was mad at her for almost clobbering him to death but Aysa was even madder at him for giving her the scare of her life. Their relationship after that encounter wasquite hostile as they frequently insulted and taunted each other, most of the time. But they did have their moments when it was clear that they cared for each other.

After encountering Prince Taehyung, she didn't think that the princes were that bad anymore (with the exception of Prince Yoongi. That boy was as annoying as hell. Grrr!) And her relationship with the other princes steadily improved.

Interview:

How my life was as one of the Selected? -bites lip nervously- Let's just say it wasn't all that pleasant. My parents aren't here, right? -looks around and relaxes- Good, because now I can say what I really wanna say.

-stares into the interviewer's eyes- I hate it. Ohmigod, I hate it so much. You have NO idea how ish it is to be one of the Selected. Yah, I know it's supposed to be a big 'honor' and yadda yadda yadda but I'm telling you. It's not. -rubs temples- I thought I had it bad when I was back home in Cheongdamdong but me tell ya this. Things here at the palace are much worst.

-near to tears and holding back sobs- You have no idea how PAINFUL it is a Selection candidate. We have to  wake up at 5 am - 5 FREAKING AM- EVERY DAY to do our hair and makeup, wardrobe and all those things that are supposed to make us 'presentable' and what not but I'm telling you, the thing is pure torture. -sobs- I had to go through 5 waxing sessions within a week - and I'm NOT EVEN HAIRY. -shows arm- See? They even removed my arm hair. What normal people can't have arm hair? I feel like one of those hairless cats.

And DO NOT get me started on the clothes. -raises eyebrows- You'd think that being a princess and all would actually prepare me for this lifestyle. -crosses arms- Wrong! At home I only needed to wear dresses and gown for formal occasions. It's practically mandatory for us to wear dresses here Every.Single.Day. Ya know, corsets aren't as comfortable as they ssem. -sarcasm-

But as ty as my life here was at the beginning, there are some things that I actually like. The girls here aren't as y as I thought. -furrows eyebrow- Well, almost all of them I guess. This might be unprofessional to say but I really can't wait to see Shim Sora get kicked out of this thing. -raises eyebrow- Why? It's plain and simple - she's a . Especially to me, for some reason - which doesn't even make sense really. Sora likes that SEOKJIN brat whilel I... Well, I like someone else. -blushes-

-raises head- Oh, who? Well, there's this one prince who I shall not name because, let's face it. -narrows eye- This'll probably make the news or something and I really don't need any more publicity. It's bad enough that they're calling me the ice princess. But let's just say that this prince was one of the first to see past my so-called 'Elsa' exterior. -small smiles-

-fiddles with hands- I know I might seem cold and all, but really. I'm not that bad of a person. -mumbles- I wish they'd see that. It's getting lonely being all by myself and all. -snorts and chuckles- My first actual 'friend' in the entire Selection was actually one of the Princes. Cliche? I know. But I thought he was a really cool guy in the beginning. It made me think that maybe not everyone in the palace was as bad as I originally thought.

-starts smiling but then snaps back to reality and snorts- And then I found who he really was and boom! 2 months worth of friendship gone to waste. If you could call it friendship, that is. I'm pretty sure we argued more than we talked anyway.

life as part of the final seven ☆ No , she had a 'what-the-actual-' moment after it was declared that she was part of the final seven. At first she thought that it was Prince Taehyung who picked her since she had a soft spot (read: crush) for him but quickly realized that wasn't the situation. Aysa's family was thrilled that she had become one of the final seven, which in their opinion was sheer proof that she would be made one of the princesses of Bangtan - which made her feel very uneasy since she knew that her father was up to something.

Aysa was pleased to find out that the other girls of the final seven were all her friends. When she learned that she was Prince Seokjin's choice, she was shocked since never realized that he had feelings for her. When it came to masses and the public, she was not particularly revered nor was she hated. Instead, her case was dubbed 'interesting' as the people never expected their Prince Seokjin to fall for a girl like her and their interactions were definitely ones that illicited interest.

The King and Queen approved of her as part of teh final seven, as they had known her ever since she was a little kid and she proved that she had grown into a beautiful young woman. However, it was the Queen who realized how much of an effect she had on her eldest prince and how she had changed him for the better and him for her.

Interview:

Wow. Final seven, eh? *inwardly thinks 'BREATHE AYSA. BREATHE.'* Let's just say I really did NOT see that one coming. No, seriously. It's like someone threw a fastball at me. I could've sworn he would pick that Yoo May girl or Shim Sora. -rolls eyes- But not in my life did I ever expect that Prince Seokjin would choose ME. I mean, what does he see in me anyway?

-pauses- Wait, no. That wasn't what I was supposed to say. I mean, uh... -stutters- What I wanted to say was that I'm shocked. Wait, no. I already said that! -rubs temples- Can we take five, please?

(Five minutes later...)

Okay, so like I said for the umpteenth time. I was -shocked when I found out. And I found out in the worst way possible. We were eating when the herald came and announced the names of the final seven. When I heard my name listed, I was so surprised I choked on my cereal. In Hyun and Mari had to smack me on the back several times before I could breathe again. -shudders-

So, yeah. We even had this big meeting with the Queen. -smiles- I adore her, really. She's a lovely person and she didn't seem to care about what our backgrounds were, only that we made her sons happy. -hesitates- Well, that was the case when it came to the other six. I had no idea why I was standing there at all. -fidgets- I was still in the dark about why Jin-Prince Seokjin chose me.

-chuckles- The Queen seemed to have a special affection for Mari. Then again, who wouldn't? I knew I might've misunderstood her a few times in the past, but Mari is truly a nice girl. -smiles- The other girls were just as wonderful as well. They even changed my name to 'Warm Princess' for kicks. -laughs-

Anyway, back to the story. The Queen seemed to favor Mari a lot. -whispers- I think it has something to do with mari being the partner of her baby. -normal voice- But anyway, it was all in all a good day. I was pleased that I wasn't in the spotlight because my relationship with that jerk prince is definitely... complicated.

-furrows eyebrows- But then the Queen asked me to say behind after all the girls' left which made me evern more worried, needless to say. -chuckles-  But she never asked about my relationship with Prince Seokjin like she did with the other girls. In fact, the Queen asked me about my family and how they were all doing.

It was a pretty pleasant conversation but something really bothered me though. -furrows eyebrows and looks down- Before I left the woman's room she told me something that shocked me to the core, really.

I believe her exact words were : "Take care of my boy, will you? He might seem strong on the outside but he's every senstive on the inside."

I honestly don't know waht to make sense of that sentence. Was she actually cheering me and jin-Prince Seokjin on? We were nothing, really so I didn't understand why. I tried to turn around and ask her what she meant but she left by then.

-looks away into the distance- Those words still haunt me, though. What was she trying to tell me? I guess I'll never know. -shrugs-

PERSONALITY ☆  Prince Seokjin, in short, is a very complicated guy. He's like an onion, with many layers that it's almost impossible for anyone to know what his true personality is like, even his brothers. He has a lot of traits that at some point or another will contradict with each other.

For starters, Prince Seokjin is a very stubborn person. I'm not kidding. He's even harder to move than a mountain. He has this complex where he thinks that he is always right and argues with anyone who suggests otherwise - which infuriates his brothers sometime as this often happens when they're trying to pick a menu for their daily meals. He's also very stubborn as in he will never back down from a fight or an argument. If he's somehow landed in a war (usually a prank war between the brothers), he's be the last to give up, no matter if he was losing.

This was also shown when Prince Seokjin is the eldest out of the seven and was next in line to be King but he decided to give that all up to handle the diplomatic affairs of te country and passed the throne to his younger brother Namjoon. People are still shocked by this sudden decision but the prince never went back on his word.

This stubborness mostly came from his overflowing confidence. When asked, his brothers would tell that when god made Jin, he accidentally dropped an entire bucket of confidence to the point where it was overflowing everywhere. This in turns makes him a very talented public speaker and Face of the Royal Family whenever it came to giving out Royal Announcements. In fact, the only time he seemed to be nervous and stage fright was when they drew the names of the Selected

Seokjin is also a very meticulous person - almost to the point of OCD. He likes things organized and in neat piles or else he's going to go ballastic. This helps when he's helping to draft out new laws and policies as his detailed eye can spot out any flaw or imperfection before submitting his proposal to his father. He never lets a document leave his office without being meticulously drafted and checked.

Though he might seem serious at times, Jin is a natural born goofball. He love joking around and going crazy with the rest of the his brothers. When he gets into his 'goofy' mode, he can never take things too seriously - not even work. Which usually leads to him ditching it altogether and driving off with his brothers on their next great adventure. Whenever he's in this mode, he can never act his age and would often revert to mentally of a 5 year old. He can also be quite dorky at times. This side of him seems to disappear as he gets older and as the Selection grew closer, but once in a while, Goofball Jin will make his appearence to disrupt Serious Jin's schedule.

Seokjin is, not to be insulting, kind if vain. He's always been very popular amongst the girls because of his handsome features which gave him kind of a big ego. He would sometimes check himself out in the mirror when no one is noticing, and when he does get caught, he nonchalantly makes up some cruddy reason and runs away. Seokjin is also quite feminine for a man his age. His favourite color is pink (the King and Queen thought they were having a girl and bought many baby girl items then lo and behold! Baby boy Jin came along). He also likes to be called Princess since in most of his early years, people often mistook him for a girl because of all the pink.

Despite being the eldest, Seokjin can be quite the scaredy cat - especially when it came to ghosts and the supernatural. Jin really can’t watch horror movies. When he once bravely decided to watch a horror movie during his first year in college, without knowing it, he ended up clinging on to one of his friends the entire movie. He got endlessly teased because of that.

RELATIONSHIP ☆  Aysa, was needless to say, was extremely shocked at this decision. At first, she thought that it was Prince Taehyung who picked her but was even more surprised when she found out that the prince who picked her was none other than Seokjin.

"How could you do this to me?" She shouted, throwing a book at the poor older boy. "You know that my dream is to get out of here! Why would you chain me down further?

Prince Seokjin tried to explain himself. "Aysa, you know that this entire Selection is supposed to be about us princes finding our wives, right? Don't you see why I chose you-"

He was swiftly interrupted by the young princess, who was as furious as a dragon at that very moment. "Pch! Don't give me that bull crap!" Aysa scoffed, rolling her eyes at Seokjin. "This is about you having your ultimate revenge right? This is how you're gonna pay me back, right? For god's sake Jin-Prince Seokjin!" She quickly corrected herself. "I already told you that I'm sorry for pushing you when we were kids!"

"Aysa, listen to me! It's not like that!" Jin tried again, pulling her arm to force her to stay. "Don't you get it? I'm doing this because I-"

"Save it for the royal announcement, your majesty." She cut in, her voice full pf sarcasm. "Because nothing you say is ever gonna make me forgive you.

Her words shocked the older Prince greatly and though he wouldn't admit, broke his heart into two. His grip around her arm loosened and she pulled it away and stomped out of sight

Things generally got worst fron there, but not because she was angry with him. Nope, it was quite the opposite. She was angry at herself for feeling something for Seokjin. Yes, she's been trying to deny it all this time but there was no use rejecting this fact any longer. She liked him. She liked the arrogant Prince Seokjin.

Which of course made her hate him more as well for making her feel this way.

She tried not to act awkward around Seokjin but it was hard now that she realized what her true feelings were. Aysa would blush whenever he was near and her heart would pound everytime she laid eyes on him which was SO unprofessional.

"Get a grip, Aysa." She warned herself, mentally facedesking. "You're like this stupid fangirl who blushes whenever Senpai gets close. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!!!"

Unfortunately for her, Seokjin (unaware of her newfound feelings) was still reeling from the impact of her feelings. He tends to spend more time in his quarters, contemplating whether he made the right decision in letting (read:forcing) her to stay here when it's obvious that all she wanted was to be a million miles away from the palace.

"They say when you love something, you'd let it go." Jin thought to himself as he stared at the dying embers of the fireplace. "But do I have the strength to let her go?"

HISTORY Their first meeting was technically when they were kids at a palace party. The young prince Seokjin was very naughty and full of life back then and he had a penchant for getting in trouble and pranking. So, when the 8-year-old Aysa first arrived at the palace, he couldn't resist the urge to prank her.

When the other children were out playing in the garden while the adults were socializing, Aysa sat on one of the near the fountain and read a book while her younger sister Saera played close by. Seokjin thought that she was a loner and kind of a freak since she refused to participate in a game of tag with the older kids in favor of her book so he pranked her by throwing a frog at her, causing her to lose balance and fall into the fountain, drenching her from head to toe.

Aysa climbed out of the fountain dripping with water, her cheeks burned pink with embarassment while most of the other children laughed at her. A few of the girls tried to help her dry up but she refuted their help and marched over to throw a book at Seokjin's head before marching away, her little sister in tow.

The book-throwing incident left a scar on Jin's head even to this very day. Seokjin hated being embarassed and the scar was a permanent remembrance of that incident so he nevr forgot and held a grudge towards the girl who threw the book at him (despite the fact that the whole fiasco started with him in the first place).

Fast forward 10 years later during the Selection where the two were ignorant to each other's identities, since they didn't know each other back then. Aysa only knew that her 'attacker' was a prince and after the whole library incident, she assumed that the boy who caused her to fall in the fountain was Prince Yoongi.

Their first official encounter during the Selection was at the royal acrhives in the palace. Prince Seokjin was there to look for a document as a guide for him to draft his newest legislation to be submitted to the king. Aysa was in the area because she had become close to the royal librarian and was helping her arrange some of the documents in the archive.

Aysa was taking a break from the arranging and was reading a book when Seokjin walked into the archives. Since it was still very early into the competition, she still hadn't memorized the names and faces of all the prince (call it procrastination, call it a lack of interest - personally, she was too lazy to study their lengthy files when she had no interest in winning them over whatsoever).

The eldest prince was shocked to see someone - a young girl, especially - in the archives since the only person who actually goes down to the archives was the Royal Librarian Kim Soohyun (who was also a dear friend of the prince who spent most of his time on the Kingdom's paperwork). He was even more shocked when he recognized her to be one of the girls of the Selection. And judging by her unfazed stare, she didn't seem to recognize him at all. Or maybe she could be playing hard to get like some girls do.

Jin chuckled. This could be fun.

☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

"Sorry." Jin apologized, as he took a step closer to the girl in front of him who was holding a handful of papers in shock. "I didn't realize that anyone would be here. Librarian Kim usually has his lunch hour by now so I expected the archives to be empty."

Aysa quickly brushed off the surprisng encounter with a shrug off her shoulders. "Nah, it's okay. You weren't disturbing anything anyway. I was shocked that anyone would come down here at all." She peered at the young man closely. "Um, may I ask why are you here in the first place?"

"I could ask you the exact same question." Jin countered, crosiing his arms as a smug smile began to form on his face. "You do know that only certain palace staff - besides the royal family, of course - have access to this room?" He added with a questioning tone to taunt her and gauge he reaction.

"Touche." Aysa replied, raising an eyebrow in grim respect. "And no, I didn't. I'm here purely because I wanted to help Royal Librarian Kim sort through the archives. He's not getting any younger." She crossed her arms as well, to mimic his smug attitude. "Your turn."

"My turn?" Jin asked, a hint of disbelief in his voice.

"Yes, your turn." said Aysa, quickly getting tired of this conversation. "You know, to explain why you're here in the royal archives. You seem far too young to be one of the cabinet members or important palace stuff."

Librarian Kim's break would be over soon and she dreaded the scolding she'd get if he knew she was letting weird guys into the archives when he was gone - no matter how good-lucking and familiar-looking those guys may be. Seriously,

"I, uh..." Jin stuttered, trying to come up with an excuse to give her that seemed believable but wouldn't give away his true identity. "What I meant was, I'm...."

Luckily, his was saved by the timely arrival of Librarian Kim who had just returned from his lunch break. Jin immediately stepped up to give the surprised older man a hug and introduced himself to Aysa as Kim Jin, Librarian Kim's nepehew and assistant for the next few months.

☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

"My nephew? But sir-" Librarian Kim started to protest but his words were quickly cut off when Jin slapped his hand on the older man's mouth to shush him. Jin chuckled nervously and he explained to Aysa that his unclee was 'a real joker' and 'forgetful' so he sometimes called Jin 'sir' when he couldn't remember the younger man's name.

At this point, Aysa was getting suspicious since Librarian Kim was quite OCD and he was definitely not old enough to be that forgetful. Even Librarian Kim was inwardly rolling his eyes like "Seriously dude? You lie and that's the only story you could come up with?" But after a few minutes of thinking, she accepted it with a shrug since she didn't know Librarian Kim all that well on a personal level so she was no one to judge his life or family.

Jin became smitten by the young princess as he began to spend more and more time at the library or the archives (depends where she's at) to annoy her. Aysa was very annoyed and angry at first since this guy seemed like he had nothing better to do than to practically stalk and shadow her but she refused to admit the fact that he was growing on her.

This lasted for quite some time (1-2 months) until a certain formal cotillion/ball where both their identities were revealed, he being the eldest Prince, her being the girl who threw that book at his head when they were kids. Needless to say, everything went to hell after that.

After the 'big revelation', it seemed like Prince Seokjin was a completely different person. While he treated all the other girls nicely and kindly, he looked and treated her like filth, which she didn't like at all. It was as though their 2 months of friendship meant nothing to him. She was hurt, of course and Seokjin never missed an oppurtunity to make a pass at her, using the things that she revealed during their friendship against her.

When he made a pass at her cousin Mingyu about being a bastord child was the last straw for Aysa and she slapped him with all her might. Aysa decided she had enough of the Selection and the stupid eldest prince and went back to her room to pack her things.

It was at this point where Jin realized how badly he was treating Aysa over something that had happens years ago.

When he went over to Aysa to convince her to stay, Mari and the others were already there to comfort her. They had sucessfully convinced her to stay by bringing up her love for Mingyu - the entire reason hy she was here in the first place. When they started to talk about Mingyu, Seokjin felt a sharp pang in his heary and decided to walk away.

Prince Seokjin couldn't sleep tht night, his mind and heart in a turmoil over the events that occurrd earlier that day. He couldn't believe how e brought up about Mingyu being a bastard child just to spite her. When they were friends, she had trusted him with that secret and because of a silly fight, he might've lost her trust forever

Seokjin wondered why he had brought the thing up in the first place and remembered how Aysa was talking and blushing when talking to Taehyung so Seokjin dropped by to throw her and insult to put her off if it. Thinking back, his actions seemed to sprout from... Jealousy?

"No way." Seokjin muttered to himself, sitting up straight on his bed. "It can't be. Could I actually... be in love with... her?"

their ending ☆  "Hyung, even now, I can tell that eldest sister-in-law is as dense as a bag of rocks (just like you are) and she'll never realize how you feel unless you tell her. Go for it!"

When push somes to shove, Jin finally decides to step up and confess his feelings to Aysa as he was sure that she liked him too, she just didn't know it yet - as told by Mari and the rest of the girls who were going crazy seeing those two dense lovebirds.

During the New Year's ball, Aysa had slipped away when everyone was busy with the party. She couldn't really stand being in a large crowd so she decided to sneak out to the garden where the fresh air would rejuvenate her. The palace garden was shape like a hedge maze and there was a gazebo in the middle of the maze that was draped with bright, twinkling fairy lights.

She sat there, admiring the gazebo's beauty and twirled around, imagining herself and one of the grand balls - only this time, she was surrounded by peole that she loved and cared about compared to a bunch of strangers she had never met before. There was Mingyu, Yeona, Mari, the girls, Jin...

Speaking of Jin, he had searched for Aysa throughout the entire party and was dismayed when he couldn't find her. That is until Eunbi told him that Aysa decided to get some fresh air in the maze. When he found her, dancing and completely lost in her own world, Jin saw what he thought was the most beautiful thing on earth. Aysa, the real Aysa, who had finally shed her mask and her ice shield.

He coughed to get her attention, snapping her out of her little day dream and making her blush redder than a tomato. After a few awkward silences and failed tries, Seokjin finally came up with the courage to propose and confess to her.

"Kim Aysa." Seokjin said pulling the girl over to him unti their faces were merely inches apart. "I know I've been stupid, impulsive and downright rude to you. I've made you sad, I've made you cry and I will never forgive myself for the sadness that I have brought to you. But in bad times, there were also good times like when we were still friends and how I heard you melodious laughter at my corniest jokes."

"The truth Aysa is that I..." He took a breath. "I love you." That one sentence made her gasp but he continue his speech. "I have loved you for quite some time now. I miss you when I'm not with you. When I'm not with you, all I do is think about you. When I think about you I just want to be with you. When I'm with you it's like all of my dreams have come true."

"Kim Aysa." Seokjin said again as he kneeled on one knee and pulled out his ring box - the only family heirloom that his Grandmother left to him. "You are my best friend, my shoulder to lean on, the one person I know I can count on; you're the love of my life, you're my one and only, you're my everything. And if I had to choose between breathing and loving you, I would use my last breath to say, I love you.

He opened the box to reveal the most beautiful diamond ring that she had ever seen in her life.

"Will you marry me?"

And then Aysa responded with the only word that came to her mind and seemed to roll off her tongue so naturally.

"Yes."

And as they shared their first real kiss, the countdown ended and the New Year began, with fireworks lighting up the midnight sky with the most beautiful array of colours

As the wedding date approaches. Aysa began to get more nervous. Her father was really anxious about this wedding's success and how this would give him a leverage to finally reclaim the throne. Knowing her father's evil scheme, Aysa decides to stop this chaos once and for all, even if it meant destroying her reputation forever.

On her wedding day, Aysa stops the ceremony in the middle of everything - which shocked the entre nation - and told the world the truth about her participation in the Selection. She revealed everything about her father's scheme to take the crown by using her marriage as leverage. Everything. And before she disappeared, she looked into the camera and said the four words that have been haunting her mind for so long but had never been spoken out loud - especially not to Seokjin

"I love you too."

A year passed since the great incident and Aysa is currently a student at K-Arts, majoring in writing like she always wanted to. She had just finished an extremely long class and was about to take a nap on an outdoor bench when she suddenly felt the sunlight being blocked. Web she opened her eyes , lo and behold. It was the man she loves the most... Jin...

And he was smiling. "Didn't I tell you that no matter where you went, I would always find you?" He said, his eyes tearing as Aysa stood up to hug and sob in his arms. "I love you, Kim Aysa.

Married Life

A year after that the two were married. Seokjin was busy reading the newspaper in the garden when suddenly, Aysa jumped out of nowhere, scaring the life out of him. He was angry at first but his face changed when he saw what Aysa was holding her hand.

An ultrasound...

"I guess you caught me." She chuckled as she passed the ultrasound to him. "It's positive. I'm pregnant."

It took Seokjin quite some time to conjure up a proper response. When he first held proof of the existence of the tiny human in his hands, he fainted which alarmed his wife and the palace staff greatly. But when he finally came to, he yelled in joy at the top his voice and hugged his wife as tightly as he could.

Being married to one another had greatly matured the two considerably as they settle into their new life as both adults and spouses. Aysa became more open with everyone and came out of her introvert shell while Jin learned to balance his work life and make more time just relax and be with his family as oppose to being trapped in his office 24/7, especially after having their first child - which was completely unplanned, especially since they had just married and Aysa was still in the middle of studies and Jin had just been elected as Bangtan's youngest Prime Minister, which took up a lot of of his time. Everyone one else had held off having kids for the next few years so their baby was the eldest among his cousins - in which the couple had to deal with a lot of ribbing since Aysa was the youngest of all the Selection girls (the girls were horrified when they learned their maknae was the first to become a mother) and they were the last to get married (Jin had to deal with teasing for not being careful for weeks).

Their first boy, Kim Seokhyun was born a few months later and the 'Hyun' part of his name came from the engimatic Kim Soohyu, their loyal royal librarian who was the first to witness their romance bloom (and the person who was indirectly responsible for their introduction in the first place). Mari and Mingyu were named as the baby's godparents (much to the jealousy of the rest of Seokhyun's other aunts and uncles haha).

But not everything was sunshine and roses in life. There was a dark period of time when Seokhyun was around 20 months old where the two had gotten into a huge argument after paparazzis had leaked photos of Seokjin and his secretary, presumably having an affair. Aysa had ignored that at the beginning since she trusted Jin but when he stopped coming home and didn't return her calls, she started to worry. Mingyu started to come over more often since he was worried for Aysa's sake as she was going with stir-crazy with Jin's cold shoulder. Jin had stopped coming home weeks ago and the others were already starting to wonder if he really was having an affair.

A few days later, Aysa was woken up in the middle of the night by Seokhyun's sudden crying and continuous coughig only to discover that her baby son was running a high fever and had to be rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed with pertusis. And for the first time in weeks, Jin was there, rushing to the hospital instantly from the office after being informed by the hospital. Mari, Yeona, Mingyu, Taehyung and Jungkook were there to keep Aysa company. The moment Jin arrived at the hospital, Mingyu and Taehyung punched him for his attitude the past few weeks and Mari and Yeona blocked the entrance to Seokhyun's room where Aysa was sleeping in the chair next to her baby's bed. Jin didn't react at all, though he was upset that the women weren't letting him see his son even when he was dying from worry. Instead, he just sat outside of the room silently and not uttering a word to anyone.

After everyone else had went home, he sneaked into Seokhyun's room silently and was full of despair at the sight in front of him. When Aysa was asleep, he kissed her on the forehead and held her gently until the next morning in which Aysa was very surprised to see him by her side but was nonetheless glad to see him there. They fought a lot during that period to the point where Aysa had sent divorce papers to Jin , which he refused to sign. Especially when it was discovered that Aysa was already pregnant with their 2nd child and was in her 2nd trimester.

No one really knows what happened between the two, only that they reconciled shortly after their 2nd child, a daughter named Kim Mina - named after Mingyu and Yeona for being such loyal friends - was born.

Was Seokjin really having an affair with his secretary? But he loved Aysa with everyfiber in his being, so there might be a chance that it was more than that. Who knows? (Maybe I'll write some sort of sequel about this haha xD)
