her hair is slightly wavy and ( most of the time ) goes by the color black. there are only a few times when her hair isn't in its natural hair color which is 1) when she's getting ready for a formal event or 2) getting a make-over by yejin and taehyung. but other than those incidents, her hair would be black. she wears spectacles, one who is quite short-sighted she needs them during her classes to be able to see. though sometimes she would wear her contacts but that's only a few rare times like if she's going for sports or on a no-class day. she finds it a hassle to wear contacts since you have to wash them, take them out before you sleep, etc. a girl with a belly that stands as tall as 165 cm ( 5'4 ), she despises those who can achieve thigh gaps that she can only dream of. her skin is slightly tanned with the amount of outdoor activities that she does during and after classes. she has greyish blue eyes that are hardly noticeable because she wears spectacles.

jin's fashion is quite simple. she wears no clothes that show her skin from her collarbone to her knees. she likes wearing long knee-length skirts and shorts. however, skirts are only for special days such as birthdays and anniversaries. on normal days, she wears shirts, sweaters and oversized clothes, and jeans. never forget about the jeans. one who likes to wear according to her palettes, other people can tell what is jin's mood according to the color schemes she wears on that day. the lighter the color schemes, the better her mood is. her casual fashion sense sometimes serves as her formal fashion sense. during formal events, she puts her one piece dresses to use.

the above photos are the only kinds of accessories that she has in her closet. as mentioned, she wears spectacles and there is only one kind that she wears. ( like in the photo ). whereas hats, she doesn't have a large variety of them as she's not the kind to wear them often, just as an accent to match with her color scheme that day. however, the bracelet and watch are the only accessories she wears on her hand all the time. the bracelet was given by her brother to which she cherishes greatly and the watch was a gift from taehyung when they were graduating high school.

Personality —

a young child who believes in global happiness

At one glance you can already tell that she is the youngest among her friends. It is because she is the most childish yet happy-go-lucky person that you will ever see. A child-like smile present on her face most of the time she is with older people, this girl admits that she can be childish. You can expect her tantrums when she is upset, but she is not one who will stomp her feet, no. She will cling on to you, and maybe act cute to show that she is upset. She never acts cute if she's not upset, so don't worry because you'll only have to see her cringing aegyo once in awhile. Despite the always sunshine coming out of her vibe, jin is also very naive. she believes people too easily and thus has been the victim of jokes and pranks so many times. however, due to her happy-go-lucky trait, she lets them go easily as she knows how to take a joke. but don't worry, jin is not that naive to the point of not knowing what is right and what is wrong. kim jin is one who you can count on to spread the contagious disease of smiles and also make you smile a bit for her innocence and naiveness. 

Happiness is not the only thing that she is known for. when it comes to working on project or tasks, she becomes a responsible person.despite sometimes procrastinating on her tasks a bit, but she makes sure that her results and products are in the best state possible. she's ony human, she gets lazy sometimes but she tries her best not to miss her deadline ( which she usually doesn't but it happens ). her efficiency will increase if you make her the leader of the project or the one in charge as she likes being the ominant one. she is quite power greedy but doesn't express so much because she believes in democracy voting. however, she will ask a lot of questions regarding the tasks and do follow-up updates to make sure whatever project that she was working on is coming to perfection. despite being responsible, jin often times over-react when she's involved in the situation. this is because she's afraid of the consequences of messing up something. this also applies to when she's stuck in a reality situation, she panics first before thinking of a solution.

Generousity is something that runs in her family. They are generous towards food, they wouldn't mind paying if it was for food. Though, when it comes to buying items, she would become a bit stingy. Thinking of quality and contemplating whether the other person would like it or not, that is quite burdensome for her. Which is why she often times gift money instead of items.Kim Jin is known for being clingy and dependant of her closed ones. the reason behind this is she has a hard time in dealing with her emotional distress alone. she needs a listening ear and hopefully a wise advice to get her out of any situation. she also believes in a give-and-take-love-hate-relationship with everyone. she can give advice as she is open-minded and she takes comfort in others than herself. also, she believes that everyone needs everyone depending on the time and place so there are times when you hate someone but there are other times when you love them.

Born in Seoul University during her family's holday trip to Korea for the festive season Chuseok, she was considered as the blessing of the family due to being born during the festive season. Their family holiday trip was extended from a few weeks to a few months as she was born a week earlier than expected. Her family wanted to make sure that she was alright with no disease or any complications that may come alight during their flight back to America. Plus, her parents believed in their people's medicine technology. After receiving treatment and the medical check-ups required also the welcoming to the family by her other relatives, 1 year old Kim Jin finally returns to her home in New York, America. With the family of four, they lived happily in a large custom apartment fit for all of them. They lived a quite middle-upper class lifestyle in America. Since returning to America after her birth, Kim Jin has never moved aside from the occassional family trips to overseas or returning to Korea to celebrate the festive season.

All her life she has been surrounded by happy things like flowers, animals and beautiful colors. She was raised by her parents to be an optimist instead of a realist by showing her happy things. Her brother however does not lack in showing her the ty part of life to which she encounters when she goes to school. in school, she encounters too many sadness and negativity that it affects her also. there was a point of time when she was quite sad and depressed about things. however, when exchange student kim taehyung came, jin returned to her normal self. taehyung became jin's energizer whenever it was her period of darkness. those two are like peas in a pod as taehyung grows to become jin's bodyguard and older brother whenever her real brother isn't around. 

Kim Jin found out about her disease when taehyung talked about it after biology class. ( ironic, huh? ). it never occurred to her that her eye color was out of the ordinary since americans too have blue eyes so she thought it was normal. also, nobody has ever pointed out anything about her eyes since she always wear glasses so she never really cared about it. However, she survived her school life with no bullying since she's too naive in taking a tease so she left it at that. Little did she know, the whole school already knows of this disease and the teachers have given a stern warning to whoever tries to bully her for it.

Present — 

As soon as she enters her second semester of her first year in university ( she was accepted to the same university as her older brother is ) , her parents have bought her a loft where she stays with golden retriever suho and neighbour kim taehyung. the loft is situated near her parents house and her university. her loft is her pit stop if she's ever too tired to go all the way back home. she doesn't live with her brother because her brother is on the other side of campus, the one nearer to his department so it'd be difficult for jin to go from all the way to the other side just to get to her department. ever since she encountered sarah bordes ( her american best friend ), kim jin was given the tips on how to become more beautiful. she began wearing contact lenses every now and then but it is very rare since she finds it quite a hassle. Kim Jin found herself a part-time job at a local bookshop situated near her loft. being surrounded and wrapped around in the scent of books helps her study and earn her some extra pocket money. she only works weekdays since she spends the weekends with her family and friends.

basically the guy version of Kim Jin. however, he posses a more childish behaviour than her which forces jin to become the more mature one from the two. but they kick off as a the best of friends. taehyung is easily likeable and that makes it easier for him to win over people. + they can almost be mistaken as boyfriend and girlfriend if only taehyung was not too busy with trying to compose music and such. he's too busy to think about love but he goes to jin whenever he needs ideas. hearing jin speak of stories helps him in composing.

Personality —

a young guy who wants nothing but happiness

At one glance you can already tell how big of a troublemaker he is. With his eyes always having that glint of mischievous, and his smile already supporting that aura, better be careful you might be his next target of pranks. He does the most unthinkable pranks; gluing the doors, replacing powder with flour, etc. He doesn't care who he pranks, he has an eye for gullible people and he will attack them for his pure entertainment. Though, with his pranks, he is clueless of the other party's feelings. He doesn't care of the consequences and always manages to get himself out of trouble with his sweet-talk trait. With the looks of a flower boy, his sweet-talk skillls are benefitted with swooning the older women, or any woman to get her to forgive him for his prank, if that person finds him that is. Or else, he would just pretend nothing happened.

The Kang Hodong or Yoo Jaesuk among his friends, this male comes up with jokes from his wittiness. Be careful when talking to him, he might use your words against you. Though, again he means well and is merely a flower that is trying to cheer you up in his most weirdest ways. This male is a tough one to hate, you can tell that he doesn't mean harm if you stare him right in the eye. Quite the diva, he cares about his looks. His main concern at the start of everyday is what he will wear. The fashionista he is, he puts in a lot of thought for his fashion and never hesitates to comment on others with a straight face. He is also quite the narcissistic as popularity has caused him to have high expectations that everybody will recognize him. Caring about his looks, he does his best to make sure that everyone will notice his presence. That isn't really hard, since he was already born with good looks.

Honesty is also one of his traits and with his wittiness, his mouth never stops talking. That includes going right out commenting or critisizing others on anything that comes to his mind. Mainly their fashion since he thinks that he is amazingly fashionable. Under the good humor and annoying brat side of the male, lies someone who is completely different when challenged emotionally. He is someone who is possessive of his girlfriend. He checks up on her multiple times a day, one might think he's a thoughtful boyfriend, though actually he's making sure no other guys are touching or flirting with her. If so he finds out his girlfriend is talking with other males, he would come directly and beat a pulp out of the other unless the girlfriend asks him to stop.

Possessive and anger are two different things for the male. Possessiveness only works regarding his girlfriend, though anger is something that regards himself. He is not one to get angry easily, completely aware of his image, he tries to keep it in. Often times succeeding, though he will later take it out on his belongings. Breaking things and tearing off the clothes he's worked on. He won't stop until he is satisfied.

Jin and her mother goes to the annual fashion show held in New York. There were different designers every year and as her mother's job is a fashion blogger, she visits and comments on the fashion that was displayed. With connections with a fashion magazine photographer, her mother has always managed to get the photos she needs for her blog. That was where Jin and The Faithful Boyfriend first met. He was there for an assignment and to find inspiration. Their first meeting was quite awkward as Jin was tagging along with her mother that she didn't notice the male had been following her. Though, when they sat next to each other near the runway, Jin couldn't help the feeling that she was being watched. Turning her head slowly, she found him staring at her with an expressionless face expression. Gasping, she turned away quickly feeling her cheeks getting red. She didn't pay much attention to him until after the show.

Being his typical narcissistic self, he wouldn't let her go for ignoring him. He followed her out of the venue, Jin's mother was the one who acknowledges his presence. Asking what is his business following them around, he sweet talked her mother into letting him meet her just for 5 minutes. And so she did, Jin met with him. He was captivated by her eyes. It was curiosity at first, but soon he was beginning to draw her distintive eyes in his sketches. He came up with clothes that would emphasize her face and he knew that he couldn't stay away from her. He made his effort to go and meet Jin again. Jin, on the other hand, was amazed at how the guy managed to get her mother into letting him meet her. Usually her mother would be a bit protective of her, with her eyes and all. So, when the guy met Jin back at the lawn where she usually studies, Jin was more than surprised to find him, in the same stance that he had when they first met.

The guy is a whole-heartedly sweetheart as he tries his best to earn her trust and make her feel good by asking her to model his works for him. Jin was flattered by this gesture. She found herself falling in love with him as he manages to make her laugh and doesn't see her differently. She treats his narssicism as a joke as he acts all diva-like. Though, there are times when his wittiness gets the best of her and she gets upset. He would forgive her and they would make up again. Enough said, he has her wrapped around his finger as he is also her first love.

Personality —

a handsome quiet boy is always a catch

When you first see him, in a glance, he looks devilish. He has the expression of a troublemaker when he smirks, which is his way of smiling. It makes him look quite the bad guy style. This smirk earns him a lot of attention from woman and also means he is satisfied with something. Though, when you look at him again, he would have an unreadable expression. A crossover between poker face and a 'i-don't-care' face. Thus, making people in general curios about his true nature. Many guys and girls try to befriend him, though he is quite the tough shell to crack. He doesn't let just anybody approach him, why? Because he has quite a bit of trust issues. He is also quite judgemental and would do a background check on the person trying to befriend him. With his connections, it isn't that hard. 

Along with his facial expressions, he is a quiet one. One who likes to portray his words through his actions, he doesnt talk unless he really has to, or if he's in a debate. A natural introvert, he thinks to himself quite a lot. You have to work hard and constantly talk to him if you want him to listen to your problems. Despite his quietness, heisn't the best listener. Though, he is very observant. Thus, he will know if you are upset and tries his best to cheer you up by setting up events. With his observing traits, he manages to write up a lot of scenarios from the daily gosspi and things that he reads and sees.

Although he doesn't talk much, if you put him in debate, he's quite the strong speaker. This is because he is smartin manipulating his words and making them favoring him. His smartness is also a result from his observing. Abililty to create many scenarios and his over-flowing confidence aura allows him to have many information, whether facts or fiction. His facial expression also helps him in winning debates. Though, when it comes to talking with other people, the aura disappears and a sense of him wanting to be alone would descend onto him. You will be surprised at how stubborn this guy can get. 

Stubbornness will come out when he really wants something but can't get it easily. This includes people, if there is a certain someone that he wants to befriend with, he would work up the courage to even talk to them if he has to. He's very picky with his friends which is why he treasures them dearly. Obssessive? You could say that, but he doesn't show it. When he is angry however, he won't talk, again. Being the natural introvert, he expresses his emotions according to his actions and the way he lets out his anger is by having a dramatic exit. Though, this wouldn't be done spontaneously, he would plan it in his head first. His dramatic exits usually is him making a loud bang and getting everyone's attention, staring at them with a glare and leaving the scene with another loud bang.

who would have thought thunder and lightning could play cupid?

Jin was working at the bookstore and it was raining outside. She was arranging books by the shelves and there was he. Sitting on the floor with earplugs on and a book in hand, sitting cross-legged. There was thunder and lightning outside and Jin was worrying on how she could get home in this light storm. She continued arranging the books like normal until there was a flash of lightning and she saw it. On instinct, she turned away, but accidentally dropped the book she was holding and it fell on him. He let out a loud wince of pain and looked up at her with anger and confusion in his eyes. Jin was still closing her eyes, and when she opened them, they made eye contact.

Flushed and embarrassed, she apologized and put the book back before running away to the counter to check off since it was near the end of her shift. Once she checked off, she looked for him and apologized once again before leaving. He was captivated by her eyes. They were different and she became the muse of his writing. Though, he would always have author's block so he began stalking her which is very unlikely of him. The bookstore became their natural meeting place and Jin would always be careful around him since she was still embarrassed of what happened. He would slowly approach her, giving her gifts in assurance that he was alright and that he accepted her apology.

Jin is called odd eyes by him, it was like a secret code for the two and for some reason Jin would always turn to the direction that name is called, as if already acknowledging the name. Jin would smile when she is with him and he would ask her things, they have something in common which are books and he would ask her review on one that he is reading. Their conversations would consist of quotes from well-known books and would drift off to becoming how was their day. Jin naturally talks with him and because she knows hardly anything about him, she would talk about herself freely because she knows he wouldn't judge. 

For special dates, he would be the one thinking up the events and gestures, inspired by one of the books he has read or the films he has watched. He was never one to come up with complicated and very sohpisticated events, a mere coffee date is considered as an event for him. Jin manages to dress comfortably around him after their first few dates. When they are on their dates, Jin works a bit extra hard to get him to talk since she is the more talkative one of the two. She comments on his unfinished novels and even sometimes give him ideas on how to finish them. 

Being the novelist, he is, he didn't come out with a straight out confession. Instead, he left sticky notes like a cliche teenage drama. The notes had romantic quotes on them and he created a trail in the bookstore when the two were alone. Jin had followed the sticky notes and found him waiting nervously with a note plastered on his back, "so, will you be mine?". Flustered, she froze. She took the sticker off his back and smiled at him. Carefully explaining that she has a boyfriend, he didn't blink once. Instead, he wasn't faltered with this fact but continued to host events for the two to celebrate and continued as though they were really girlfriend and boyfriend.

Why does your character's boyfriend study abroad? — 

After months of dating Jin and admiring her eyes, he relalizes that hissketches are becoming more similar and he is getting lectures from lecturers more frequent than before he started dating Jin. He decided that he needs to explore the word more to get a new muse to accent with Jin's eyes. to complement them since he doesnt want to lose the core of his style which is her eyes. so he took it upon himself to go traveling during one semester break. after preparing a goodbye even with Jin and promising her that he will return as soon as possible with many photos to remember him by, he sets off to United Kingdom where the sophisticated fashion is vast and varios. What was supposed to be a month holiday becaume a study transfer as his parents decided that it would be nore beneficial for him in his career life if he graduated under an England university. Besides, the English gradutes are always highly respected or so his parents thinks. 

He was caught in a bind as he is unable to do anything but to follow his parents' plans to make him graduate there due to his parents' power and connections. He called Jin that night ( it was night time in Korea, he didn't want to disturb her during the day ) and explained the whole situation that led him to an unexpected change of Jin. The cheerful girl he fell in love with was replaced with a quiet one who he never knew of. He knew it was due to her being sad but he didn't like it. However, he couldn't dwell on it too long for as soon as a new semester ( in England ) started, he was flooded by assignments and was too busy to contact Jin for quite some time.

And why does he come back for a surprise visit? —

His lack of calling and checking on her plus Jin's family unable to afford international calls has let Jin quite depressed. Not even Taehyung and Sarah combined could cheer her up. She was missing her boyfriend dearly and did not know how to handle it well. Sarah reported this to him and he was devastated when he heard her. As her birthday was nearing, and his semester break just so happens to be during her birthday, he decided that he should go to America and fix Jin up. He made a surprise appearance during her birthday party and Jin was delighted once again. After making a promise that he would return as soon as he graduated and maknig sure that Jin would be happy and contented for the next few years, he left for England to fulfuill what he had promised to Jin and his parents. 

So she's falling for The Potential Boyfriend. Why? —

It was a peaceful friendship at first. A nice change from the friendships that she shared with Sarah and Taehyung. She felt calm around him and his comforting aura was what she needed during her time of depression for her boyfriend had been far away. As time passed on, The Potential Boyfriend siezed his chance to treat her like a girlfriend and from their peaceful friendship became a budding romance to which Jin did not realize at first. It was only when The Potential Boyfriend was out of reach is when she realized that she had started liking him so much that unable to contact him was almost unbearable.However, when she came to this realization she was shocked and afraid because she still loved her boyfriend but she couldn't stop liking The Potential Boyfriend. She can't love both, now can she? 

Conclusion —

Whoever she chooses is up to the author. Based on their personalities, the author can choose who she ends up with. Though, I will help with the reality check that both of them faces. 

If the Faithful Boyfriend is chosen, and the Potential Boyfriend is rejected, he would go for a slump quite a number of days. He would send her unfinished paragraphs in letters, all filled with cheesy and sad words that he didn't manage to say before she did her descision. Jin, being kind would go to him and cheer him up. Jin would try to approach him once more because he holds a dear spot in her heart and she doesn't want to lose him. 

If the Potential Boyfriend is chosen, and the Faithful Boyfriend is rejected, he would have been in United Kingdom by then. Getting drunk and calling her in the middle of the night. His designs would be designs fit for the summer season with its angry and vibrant colors. He manages to graduate, after Jin sends an acquaintance of her to him. This new girl would keep the fact that Jin told her about him a secret from The Faithful Boyfriend

The Potential Boyfriend and The Faithful Boyfriend are acquaintances without Jin knowing. The Potential Boyfriend had approached The Faithful Boyfriend after talks of him was going about in the campus about The Faithful Boyfriend making more boring styles. So, now that The Faithful Boyfriend is out of the picture, The POtential Boyfriend decided that it was his time to shine. Jin was not aware of any of this because she was too busy with her studies. She'll soon come about to know this when Taehyung explains the boys' side of story to her after she told him about her mixed feelings.

Scene Suggestions —

× Jin would be the last one to join the group, and its because of Sarah. When the girls first met her, the eyes were already questioned and Byun Ahreum would take Jin under her wing until the girls could settle down.

× Ahreum introduces Baekhyun ( if Baekhyun is chosen as the Faithful Boyfriend ) to Jin

× the girls and their boyfriends hold a surprise party for Jin and that's when the Faithful Boyfriend pops out of the cake.

okay, so I didn't write the love interests' name when describing him because I wanted to make it generally for the three. i.e, the Faithful Boyfriend's personality applies to Baekhyun, Jongdae and Chanyeol. Same goes to the Potential Boyfriend which applies to Kyungsoo, Minseok and Luhan. 

also, jin isn't really insecure about her eyes, she just doesn't care about them since she found out about them around their senior year of high school since no one said anything at all to her.
