Some Sone Thoughts. . .

This blog post represents my opinions, and my opinions alone

I'm quite confused right now, as what I suspected for a long time has, in its ways, been proven. . . and that doesn't feel too great, but somewhat of the truth has been revealed. To me, at least. If you don't agree, then that's the way it is.

I recently watched the unofficial music video of Catch Me If You Can: the version with Jessica. It was nothing but fun for me as I've always wanted to see Jessica in it. However, it also started other thoughts in my head and they might be somewhat dark, deep and offending to others. But they are a reflection of what I feel and I can't stop my feelings.

What I basically thought was that Jessica's lack of energy and enthusiasm, compared to the other girls, showed me quite a lot. What it showed me was a rather large lack of interest whatsoever on Jessica's part. Call me bashing or an idiot if you like, but it's impossible to deny the mistakes and general lack of determinism or emotions from Jessica.

And this made me think of the rumors of Jessica's plans to stay with the group for one more album, and I believe it to be true. Because otherwise she wouldn't have a reason to set up her brand out of nowhere. But she did it last August, out of nowhere, and it was quite timely for the group's next album they planned for this spring/summer to be released. After the album's release, I believe Jessica had plans to withdraw from the group in order to focus on her other dreams and interests, fashion being a large passion for her.

Before you start thinking anything, I want to say that I don't hold any resentment towards Jessica or OT8. I'm trying to be realistic and put a perspective into a situation that is, and probably always will be, so very unclear and confusing. I support all of the girls, together or apart, and I believe in them all.

As hurtful as it might be, but it's the truth when I say that Girls' Generation won't last forever. The members will eventually, on a professional level at least, part with one another and I've come to face that fact and accepted it. Jessica's departure made me realize it very deeply. The same goes for other groups in the k-pop industry, or the music industry in general. Nothing lasts forever, so treasure it will you still can.

True... im a Jessica stan and 930 broke my heart. So for a period of time, i stayed away from ot8 activities
But that cmiyc ot9 version made me realise everyone including my bias has their faults, and maybe, just maybe Jessica was not entirely innocent in all that took place.. and while i love seeing cmiyc ot9 vers. I prefer that official mv coz its far better...
I might not be a hard core Sone right now, but ill support SNSD (OT8 + Sica) in all their future paths and hope one day ill hear Sica's sweet nasal voice lift up SNSD's songs again...
Till then, it's Party time!!(^_~)

no. Nothing can last forever. Look at EXO, look at MBLAQ, look at 2AM. In the end, those kpop idols will just be an old grandma/grandpa for the next 30 years. They would be disbanded in the end anyway. So I would prepare if my favorite group/sub-unit disbanded, although I'm going to cry for a day lol. But still--not everybody realized that one day, sooner or later, they'll just be a normal human being and having kids. Worse scenario for fans..., one day, they will die.

yeah I noticed it also... its like the girls were giving their 100% and jessica was like 40% hahaha. wanna share my OWN POV It seems to me that jessica tried to ride on gg's popularity to boost her own business maybe that was her plan but sm foreseen it and sadly to say kicked her out of the group... if u notice after that kicking out incident I dunno if its a coincidence the product launching of blanc and eclare where almost at the same place to where her former group was .. is it just mehh? before any violent reactions and harsh comments and reaction. I have nothing against jessica... I dont hate her... that was my unsolicited opinion

That rumour was true, except it wasn't one album, but one song. Tokyo dome was supposed to be her last performance.

I'm just as confused as you are.
The tweets from realsamchon really made me see 930 from another perspective. So many things to consider so I decide to stay neutral.
