what if kyumin authors started to stop writing one by one because you are continually being a hardheaded silent readers? In the next fic, I will put everything on invite only. Only those who interact with me are allowed to have an access.

I remember once in my tumblr, someone messaged me that I am just a comment lol ...I just brush it off. Nahhh, in my 4 years of writing, had I ever tell my readers that I WILL UPDATE THE NEXT CHAP ONLY IF I HAVE 30++++ COMMENTS, or 500++++ subscribers...? DID I???

Nope. 

I guess it is tiring to juggle work life and fics and unresponsive readers and bias. 

You guys are on the stage where you need km fics to keep you alive, then how about me?

You gonna leave me behind??

think of this way, the author uploaded a 8k++ oneshot or 4k++ update and readers leave a comment. That's good. But on some occasions, after a massive continuous writing the author gets tired (but she is even tired before she began typing) that she fell asleep. When she woke up, she saw good number of comments ^^ But then she remembered she needs to update another fic so as she proceeds to type another fic in her short free time as she waits for incoming number of comments to subside. Eventually as she finishes, she uploads the next fic and then same situation happens : comments comments. Until everything piles up. Now the author needs to go and logs out because of work. See you next weekend again. But same routine happens for the next months. Then one day, the author found a time to answer all piled up comments. So she answered them but it got lesser lesser because some got paranoid that omo she did not answer my comment now i am shy to throw another one. Or I feel like not commenting cos she didn't reply :(( . Sad, ryt? Until the comments got less and less and less becos of various reasons. Busy..exams..readers don't like the plot? but how would the author know?

That author has been lenient for 4 years (it's okay not to comment) but because she wasn't able to answer comments on few occasions, she received less. We've been keen on the updates even if it is late, sad to say we cannot be keen to comments all the time. Should the readers be lenient too? That they should give the author another chance if on the first comment, we did not answer? Besides, there are chaps that one does not comment too but comment on the next update. But you still see us uploading the next chap. Your lack of comment every chap does not discourage us but doing it religiously, it will give an impact later on.

besides the author gives 4-8k words all dedicated to readers. And the readers could give a minimum of 10 characters comments for the author but why still be hesitant?"

I appreciate your truthfulness. While I can't decide for other people, I will make sure to leave comments or interact as much as I can do. I understand the importance of feedbacks and comments on author's stories. It's like having your work being reviewed by the stakeholders. You need to know what has to be done next. I know every author is different, like once I stumbled into one author who said, my story my rules, and being offended with people who comment about why the story is like this and that, why don't you make this and that, to me they were just expressing their feelings in a maybe not so pleasant way in author's opinion. I just hope that we aren't rude to each other. I don't know, maybe this is one of reasons readers are hesitant to comment. I was afraid to leave comments at first, because I don't want to piss the author. That is why, I am careful with my comments and being selective to whom I comment. But you're one of the easy going authors I've known, it's reflected in your stories. So please don't be discouraged to write, I will try to be your good fans, kekekeke. I maybe a little discouraged on KM thing but I will not give up on good stories and authors. Yes, you.

Aww. Its really hard to juggle everything, I personally felt a little dissapointed about the lesser comments, its like no one's reading anymore. And for me, with everything that is happened and keeping the ship alive is a 100x tiring than making another chapter... comments really do fill up our confidence and power up our work, so please...we really cannot answer you one by one but a comment will do miracles...

Well, if that happens, i have no place anymore to fulfill my KyuMin feels. Some people said that its unappropriate to ship KyuMin while one of them already married. But the heart want what it wants, maybe still ship them till i feel enough..
And about the commenting, I dont remember if i always comment in every chapter of your story or not. But i tell you, i (maybe others too) really really 100% appreciate your work. You are on of my fav author, feel very excited when you do the update. I am sorry if in fact i am not commenting much, please dont be mad and sad. I enjoy reading your story..

But it is true. It doesn't hurt to comment even though you don't say much.

As a writer, I understand part of this, but why would you write for comments? Also why keep to a timeline? I mean yes, for your readers its nice to keep to timeline but I still don't get the comment issue. Maybe I'm just the type of writer who prefers more to write for myself and share my work than to write for comments. Honestly, if a person subscribes that means that they're reading it doesn't it?

Not a writer in your fandom, but definitely have the same problems. I've already put things on friends-lock and told people they need to interact with me for me to accept their friend requests. I get requests from people who have neither subbed to any of my fics nor commented on any. Like, what even? Invite-only seems like a good idea at this point.

I am so so sorry. I was never one to comment in every chapter I read, but I'll start now. I did comment in your fics before, but you see, you never answered it. Maybe if you start answering the comments, the readers will continue commenting. But yeah, it's a two-way street, isn't it?
Sorry if I sounded rude, it was never my intention. But I promise I'll start commenting again.
