Okay, this might seem a bit too random and absurd, but I just HAVE to say it to someone else.

I was in class today, and we had a 'Personality Development' class where out teacher asked us what we wanted to become. I said journalist, but I'm not too much interested in Journalism. I actually want to learn about cultures, people, each place's speciality. Of course I cannot say this, because this isn't a profession. It's just my dream, my hope.

Culture.... it's something which attracted me since I was a kid. My dad would talk about our race, saying how good and prosperous it was. I'd listen intently to him, without disturbing him with a useless question in the middle. I really liked the category of 'Cultures'. Cultures vary with every place, every kilometer would have a different speciality which you can call culture. Every country has a special culture, which adds onto it's already existing charm. Like India; You would think 'Holy' when you read or see 'India' or something related to it. But other than that, we are growing to the modern culture too. We don't forget our roots, but we don't hesitate to accept modern ways.

When I really got into K-Pop, and read more and more about their cultures like Chuseok, wearing a hanbok, etc., etc., I became really curious. Like, why did South Korea still have traditional festival or holiday times like Chuseok? This curiousity lead me to realising my dream.

One day, I hope to travel around the world and collect information about all the different cultures that exist and compile it so someone else could know it.
