So my school prom is in 2 weeks and my prom dress finally arrived in the post today. Bad news though... Despite putting in all my measurements and waiting 3 bloody weeks! The dress didn't ing fit. I literally thought my life was over. I was so upset and I was crying and there was no way I'd fit in that dress, it wouldn't even zip!

So we had to do an emergency action and went to a local town and looked in the dress shops. Luckily for me a wedding/prom dress shop was about to close, but the owner of the shop kindly let us in to look for a dress. The woman understood my situation and helped us out. Luckily again the first dress I pulled off the rack was perfect! Floor length midnight blue dress with a big puffy skirt that consisted of three layers of material. Beautiful beading across the chest area and it laced up in the back so it showed a nice curvy figure of me. I'm was so happy, I loved this dress even more than the one I originally had.

The owner was kind enough giving us a discount on the dress, it originally was £290 and she sold it to us for £250. Still expensive, but she also said she would do any altering to the dress for free. So all I need to do now is come in again in a couple or so days to get my fitting done properly and I'm all good to go!

Damn, I cried for nothing. It all turned out well in the end.
