She was filled with familial love in the care of her aunt She also had her brother with her, she wasn't completely alone. Growing up in a household full of musicians, she was influenced into learning music herself by the age of 5 she already learned how to play piano, by the age of 8 she started to play the guiitar. Occasionally she sang to, but she is not very confident about her voice.
When she got older by the age of 10 she ended up falling in love with hiphop music, she admired the rapper Yoon Mirae, secretely she learned how to rap by listening and watching performances of Yoon Mirae. She was an elementary student by this time, She is also doing very well in school. But people would often and call her "giraffe" being the talest girl was an insecurity for her.But there was younger kid who always stood up for her, they never got to introduce each other but Aerin was thankful for that kid. He also introduced to her people that accepted her for who she was, the kids from the local dance school. They ended up pursuading Aerin to join the school and learn how to dance.
She has been dancing since 10 and she is very good at it, she even ended up going to the Modern Dance Department of Busan Arts School, Instead of going to a normal highschool. In School she was one of the best students, she was a straight A student, she was part of the swimming team of the school (she only did it as an additional entry for her resume), she was even the vice-president of the student council. But there was one thing she wasn't the best at. It was dancing there was someone who could beat her, Park Jimin the best dancer of their class. They had a rivalry that other people are very scared off, Aerin never wanted to beat someone in her life, but after meeting someone who was so self-conceited,flirty and egotistical as Park Jimin. She wanted to be better than him. But their rivalry was cut short when Jimin transferred suddenly to seoul. He was accepted as a trainee in Bighit Entertainment, Now Aerin begins to question her future.

Their Rivalry wasn't the same as before, Jimin wasn't always present in school,because he was already very busy as an up and comming idol. Jimin wanted to bring back that kind of special relationship that they have , he told her to audition in his company Bighit Entertainment. But Aeri was a huge coward, she thought that her talent wasn't enough for her to go to any of those huge companies.
One afternoon after school, there was a big commotion infront of the school, girls were flocking around a car.with her cuiriousty so strong she approached the crowd, she was pushed towards the front. And she saw a drop dead gorgeous man staring at her.He introduced himself as Park Shiwoo, he was the man that everyone was gawking at. Everyone was suprised when Shiwoo suddenly grabbed her hand and pushed her inside his car.

She is now in the united states for almost 13 years, for that long years she never went home to South Korea after leaving her 9 year old son and 8 year old daughter to the care of her sister. She has never seen them while they were growing up.
