BTS 2nd Anniversary

Happy 2nd Anniversary BTS!

To tell you the truth, I've always admired you guys because of your constant hard work and determination. I've never really liked a boy kpop group after EXO's scandals where Kris and Luhan left as I felt that entertainment industries were all the same; kind of screwed up in their own way and system. But ever since I started listening to Bangtan, I couldn't stop. Their very first song 'No More Dream' was so relatable to daily issues students face in the course of their life that I found myself dragged into ARMY, who are by far one of the BEST fandoms out there. Unlike all kpop songs that only target love and heartbreak ( cliché if you ask me) Bangtan were on a whole new level of targeting the social issues and the wrongs of society. 'N.O' and ' We Are Bulletproof' were as amazing, if not more. I'm so glad Bighit lets them have some kind of freedom when producing and writing songs, because these are what real artists do.

Now, BTS as individuals themselves are amazing. They have some kind of bond that although can't be seen, is felt. They're like a family, a bunch of brothers that work hard and cross obstacles together; that's the kind of aura they give off. Not only that, but as ARMYz I think we are one of the most spoiled fans. If not everyday, at least once a week there are updates about what they are doing, where they are going, they communicate with us. That's very important, especially to international fans that can't go see them. Those updates and selfies really make us feel like although we can't see them, they're there, they're still here, we're all under the same sky.

Talking about the members, I believe that Rapmonster is someone that is analytical and has gone through many things in life. He seems really wise and mature for his age, resulting in those deep words from his lyrics. I believe that due to all the hateful comments in the past, he has learned to deal with haters and convert this into passion that is poured in his work. He's the one I feel can talk about philosophy of life and meaning of identity at 3.a.m in the morning, and I'm sure he's been appointed as a leader not only because he's been there longest but also because he has leadership skills that drives the group forward.

Jin is the eldest and though he is the most normal one out of all of them, he strikes me as a sweetheart. Remember when he cried before going on stage because he had made mistakes? Or how he cried because of the '' they found in his picture? Deep inside, he's sensitive and gentle. He's the one that takes care of other members and looks over them. As known, he's the said mother of the group. I also love his awkwardness because that's what defines him from anybody else. He doesn't try to be funny or sassy or anything idol-like, his pure gentleness radiates on his own. Plus, his voice has improved so much since debut. I'm so proud to have been there to see him progress as well, because there definitely is positive progress.

Suga is the second eldest. He's someone with a lot of passion for music, and if some people didn't know before he became a trainee he had been living as an underground rapper practically starving every night and selling songs for peanuts. Now that he's come so far, with ' Tomorrow' , 'Let me Know' and ' Jump' his lyrics are so profound and deep. This guy, he's one of the most honest idols out there. If he's tired, he'll show it. If he's annoyed, he will show it, and I love him for that. He also has a unique personality that I especially cherish because you can see when he's done, he's DONE. 😂 and most of the time he's done with the members.

Jung Hoseok is the one that caught my heart that little is a ray of sunshine and I don't know how I can ever live without him. His smile just makes my day better; after a long day at work and stress, he makes me believe that no matter what happens everything will be ok in the end. He plays a very important part in my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. He's so multi-talented and so underrated it's amazing; he has improved so much in rap and composition, sings like he can actually sing, dance like a beast and has a heart of gold. I never understood why haters would tell him to leave the group when he's one of the members that sticks all members together. And his smile, have you ever wondered what was in his smile that made you so weak in the knees? I love his smile, that cute rich-teeth smile as he greets his fans warmly and appreciates everything that is said to him. I know he's insecure about himself and his actual role, but I hope he knows that no matter what he does he has been my inspiration, my motivation. I hope he knows how he has struck me so much and how important he is to me and to all ARMY's.

Jimin is an angel; with that eye smile the kid melts everything and it's just now that i realize how cute and adorable and wonderful he is. He's not only a great vocal with a wide range pitch but his personality is really a caring one. I feel like him as well has been criticized and put down a lot - maybe for his chubbiness or other things- but he's such a source of inspiration to those that are too scared to come out of the dark. His friendship with Taehyung is one that I really admire as well because as they said, they had a lot of rough patches but in the end they were in this together.

Taehyung I believe is also one of the most honest idols I've come across. However, his outgoing and crazy personality sometimes catches attention in the wrong way, such as the Big Bang controversy. His soulful voice kills me every time and I know lots of people say that he can't sing because of his limited range, but he can and he does in lots of songs. Plus, his voice is really sultry and rough in itself, making it seem deeper in pitch when in fact it is not. I appreciate his beautiful rectangular smile and His weird bizarre attitude that no one understands sometimes, like I said he's not fake, he doesn't try to be someone else.

Finally, the golden maknae. I think that Jungkook is really talented in all those fields, but I guess he does feel pressure now and then in order not to deceive ARMYs and the public, but I hope he takes care of himself well and knows that he doesn't have to be perfect. In my opinion, he's the silent type and is really shy when encountering strangers, but which is why I'm so proud to see him interact so well with fans. His love is like honey, so lovely and soft and having it's own color.

I am so glad they have the recognition they deserve, but then I also feel like once they get bigger and more popular, i'm scared that they'll lose their BTS touch in their songs, their dances or their attitudes. We all know how fame and money ruins people but I hope they're not those kind of idols that are easily influenced. I have faith that they will always be the BTS we know because of their passion and their drive to make music targeting real life issues. I love you, BTS, you made my world shine.
