So in the midst of the BIGBANG and EXO drama which I hope both groups will not take too seriously/hold a grudge/cause tension because I'm pretty sure they were going for "friendly competition" until SBS and Mnet disrupted fans, I'm QUESTIONING SOME K-NETIZENS/VIPs

I just read this article on Koreaboo and basically VIP's were complaining that Chanyeol didn't edit out BIGBANG's 4th place from his IG photo of the music charts and that it was disrespectful to their seniors...like I guess they felt like Chanyeol was mocking them or something...so he received a lot of hate. 

Especially since a few days earlier, GD had posted a similar IG photo of all of BB's songs topping the charts which I guess was why they were upset? Chanyeol commented “I did not upload this to make [you guys] feel sorry…I uploaded it because I was happy to see the songs high on the chart at midnight!! This is an amazing accomplishment, don’t frown, let’s enjoy it!! :)”

OKAY, so first of all, why the fk is Chanyeol expected to apologise? He was just celebrating the good results of his group's album like GD did???? He even said he wasn't trying to make VIPs feel sorry?? I don't think Chanyeol had to feel sorry at all? Especially since as the writer of the article also mentioned that if Chanyeol did crop or blur out the BIGBANG placing on the chart then it would be considered rude which I agree. There was also a part that said the K-netizens weren't cool with it because VIPs "thought that he should be respectful to his seniors and not show EXO charting higher than BIGBANG." 

UM, as I previously mentioned it should be friendly competition????????????????????? like charting is competition guys and as Chanyeol said he didn't mean to rub it into their faces so I don't get all the fuss.

but yeah, it's pretty obvious most K-netizens prefer BB over EXO which is perfectly fine to me because I'm a VIP and BB was actually the first Kpop group I heard of (all way back to 2008 guise and I'm really young), I have a lot of respect for them. I would just really appreciate if VIPs or people from other fandoms don't call us "butthurt" just because we feel like Mnet is being shady and that BB would have won anyway. I'm pretty sure that most EXO-L's including myself are unhappy with the way EXO seems to be treated. Deleting and reuploading the video because of quality problems? We saw no differences except the amount of views being wiped out WHICH DOES COUNT TO THE ACCUMULATION OF THE PERCENTAGE. Decreasing votes for EXO while BB's increasing votes even after the poll is closed? Um...what? EXO's video being banned in Korea? I don't really know why this is the case but a few of us aren't okay with it. SBS forgot to nominate EXO? WE'RE DISAPPOINTED. I saw some other complaints on twitter too but - sigh - it really does seem unfair especially because EXO and EXO-L's are not presented with the results they should have from their efforts and hardwork. 

EXO-L's wanting BB to die is also VERY out of hand and does not refer to the whole fandom. thx. 

but well done to EXO and EXO-L's + BIGBANG and VIPs, where both supported their group very strongly including thanks to people from other fandoms.
