Haku is an eccentric girl, she is a bit of a tomboy and yet mature like a lady. Some might say she lacks common sense but she just doesn't show much with her expression, for example, most people compliments with a smile but Haku does it with a stiff expression like a robot and make people feel confused or awkward. Also she mostlyin her own world, she's careless of her behavior, like walking around without pants and just a shirt. But most people thinks that it was normal for her since she live abroad. She's also get along with a lot of people because of her obliviousness and yet her kindness. She can be loyal, well she might be the most loyal persom you'll ever met. Well thats when you earn her trust, once you do, she'll never let you down. She is a kind person and sometimes she can be very selfless. Despite that once she's angry, she's angry for real and you'll see the 'demon princess' in her, she's known for her vulgar language when she's in that mode. She can be hot tempered,violent and mostly of the time, blunt. Also, she might not say much, but she thinks and worry a lot. She's the biggest worrywart and rarely let anyone knows that she is one. She rarely depends on someone and hates to do so because it makes her feel uncomfortable, she's used to being independent.

Kohaku was born to half Japanese-American mother and a Japanese father, she was born in Tokyo, Japan. She has an older half brother and a sister, her mother is a famous cellist and her sister too followed their mother's footsteps while her brother is a multiple instrumist and her father a former martial artist. She was born into a strict lifestyle where her mother taught her the cello for 4 hours a day since age 5 while her father strongly opposed to it and taught her kendo and kick boxing to relieve her stress, she enjoyed it much more than stressful cello practice. But she loved both, by the age of 9, she looses her confidence as a cellist even though she and her sister was dubbed a prodigy. That was when her parents started to disagree with eachother, Haku also started to rebel. She quit going to practices and skips school, sometimes gets into a fight. Her life was in a slump while her mother's attention started to shift towards her sister, who became successful. 5 years later, her parents got a divorce, but her father stayed near for her sake. But her mother started again, forcing her to become better at Cello. She decided to give it another chance,she practiced so much she became distance. But then on the day of one of her auditions to enter a prestigious music school, she got into a fight with her school senior. Her seniors insulted her sister whom she's proud of,the seniors said that her sister was dumb because all she does is play the cello. Haku snapped and the first one to hit, but they ganged up on her and hit her hands with a bat. After the fight, she went to the audition in tattered clothes,scratched face and shaking hands. She frozed, her hands were throbbing and couldn't play it. Her mother was furious but her father heard about it and took her to the hospital, she was told that she was never going to play as good as she did, ever. Devastated and afraid of being dissapointed, she lied to her mom about quitting going to the music school. She moved to Japan with her father and got offered to go to Suimei with scholarship through her sister's fame. Again she was bullied, for being overshadowed by her sister and being able to attend the school because of her. She was fine with it, until recently, her classmate took it too far by insulting her family. She ended up injuring her classmate/dormmate and damaging the school's piano that her classmate was playing with. That's why she was kicked out from her former dorm and was transferred to Sakurasou.

it's your first day moving into sakurasou and just when you enter the near run-down building, you see a young man wearing an apron mixing cookie batter. he greets you with boyish grin and asks you "if apple made a car, would it have windows?". how do you respond?
What? is he an idiot?but i would say that "it doesn't make sense.."
and probably try to escape.
the man in the apron proceeds to introduce himself to you. you find out his name is hajime and that he is the dorm teacher of sakurasou. he offers you some cookie batter but then asks you to first tell him a joke, riddle or pun. your response?
What?! he's a teacher? oh crap. "What a joke, riddle or a pun? uh....what do you get a pampered milk?" "a spoiled milk" *awkward laugh with a stiff expression*
hajime is genuinely curious as to why you chose to board at sakurasou of all places so he blatantly asks you why you're here— not that he's complaining "because you know what they say, the more the merrier!!"
Well i would hesitate to answer.. but i would usually bluntly say it out "The threw me out...because i kept too many cats" also ends it with a white lie. I would never tell about it!
